Chapter 4: I will warm up her cold heart

On the day after the day a I talked to Jenny , I was more confident on how to approach Shirley, and this time I wouldn't fall for the fake number trick again, I will do everything in my power to make her fall in love with me.

But I had forgotten the most crucial part in my plan to approach Shirley, I didn't even know in which classes she was attending and where were which of the classrooms that she attended too. I better ask between my friends if there is anyone who knows about her, maybe I may be lucky enough to find her while trying to ask around about her.

After a lot of think I got in the car and drove directly to the Campus.

When I arrived at the Campus I crossed paths with one of my best friends and his girlfriend at the Campus gate.

"Hey Ray, how are you dude?" Asked James while walking towards me.

James Harold, he is one of the few true friends that I have including Jenny that's isn't interested in my money, him and I have been good friends since childhood and we grow up together, we even attended the same schools up until now. James family and my family are acquaintance for a very long time, so we naturally became the best friends since childhood.

The girl beside him is his girlfriend Tanya Parker, they have been dating since high school and they seem to love each pretty badly, her family owns an Hotel chain that spreads to all the country.

"Hey dude, I am great, what about you, have you been treating our little sister- in- law very well?" I asked to James with a teasing tone to see how he would react.

" You idiot, you know that I would never treat her badly because we do like each for real so that would not happen bro." James Replied to me while holding Tanya's hand.

"OK bro leaving your business with your girl apart I want to ask the both of you to help me with something." I said to them while we were walking over to our classroom.

" What is it bro, you know you can count on me for anything no matter what it is, if it is possible for me to do it I will do it." Said James with his hand over my shoulder.

" Thanks bro. OK going straight to the point, I am looking for a girl and her name is Shirley Smith, did you guys heard about her?" I asked them with the hopes that they might know something.

James : " Shirley Smith, Shirley Smith, humm sorry bro I think I didn't hear anything about her."

" Thanks bro, Huff I guess it was to good to be true that I might be able to find something so soon!" I said to James a little disappointed.

humn, sorry to interrupted you guys but are you talking about Shirley Smith from the Foreign Languages department?" Asked Tanya curiously.

" Foreign Languages department?? I don't know if they are the Same, just tell what does she looks like?? I asked to Tanya trying to appease my anxiety.

" I don't pay too much attention to details, the only thing I can tell you is that she has a blonde long hair." Replied Tanya while gesturing the appearance of the girl.

" Yes I guess that's must be her, unless there is another Shirley Smith at This Campus with the same features has her then that must definitely be her. But how do you know her??" I asked trying to collect more information about the girl.

" I can't believe that you forgot that I am at the Foreign Languages department too, how did you forget about that, and Shirley and I attended to the same classes. " Replied Tanya a little uncomfortable because her boyfriend (James) and I forgot about which department she studies at.

" Sorry for that baby let me compensate you for my mistake, but please don't be angry at me!" Begged James to Tanya while almost bursting in tears.

" Sorry for that sister in law it was my mistake please don't blame James!" I speak on behalf of James because I still needed them to help me contact Shirley.

" OK I forgive him, but leaving that aside, why are you looking for Shirley? " Asked Tanya trying to change topics

" Yeah I want to know that to bro, don't tell me that you have fallen for her?" Asked James teasing me.

" Yeah I guess that might be the case because since I saw her yesterday I can't stop thinking about her not even for a second, and yesterday because of that I almost screwed up everything in an important meeting with the board of directors at the company. " I said to them to satisfy their curiosity .

"Oh is that for real bro, don't tell me that the old man Thompson didn't take this opportunity to make this hard for you??" Asked James gridding his teeth.

" You bet he tried to make things hard for me but I cancelled the meeting before he could do anything overboard ." I Said to James while taking a deep breath.

" Oh brother in law about your feelings for Shirley, I think you better give up on them!" Said Tanya with a pity expression on her.

" Oh and why do you say that Sister in law, is there something wrong with Shirley?" I asked Tanya trying to figure out why would she say that.

"Yeah you can say that there is something wrong with that girl. She never talks to anyone at class, she has no friends and all the boys that tried to confess to her were badly rejected, so everybody says that she is a cold hearted girl and she is an unsociable person, you can say that almost every girl on our department hates her because they think that she I'd putting up a play to trick everyone" Explained Tanya the whole situation to me.

" So that's how it is, but don't worry sis I will not give up because of that, and what if they say that she is a cold hearted girl, then if that's true I will make sure to warm it up.
