"Hi clarisse." someone greets her so she look at the person. She was a little suprise and felt kind of awkward but she also feel bad if she do not answer him.

"H-Hi josh" stuttered she answer.

"Sorry did I disturb you?" josh look at her and see that she's reading a book.

"No, not really." (clarisse).

"Is it okay if I chat with you?" (josh).

"No, I don't mind." She forget that he is also in this class. She got bored of waiting for the professor to come that's why she read a book.

"Seems the professor will not be here." josh suddenly interrupts her from her train of thoughts.

"Y-yeah, seems like it." she smile awkwardly.

"Do I make you feel uncomfortable?" josh asks seriously.

"W-why do you ask?" clarisse got a little nervous.

"Well, I'm not really sure but it feels like you're not comfortable talking to me just like now." (josh).

Clarisse look at josh thinking 'should I tell him?'. She do not want to put a misunderstanding between them in the first place but, it seems like he's feeling it and she can't avoid it anymore.

"Well.. to be honest.. I just don't know how to talk to you. I mean... It's kind of hard for me to put a conversation since I don't really know you and all.." clarisse turn her eyes down feeling nervous.

Josh seems looks like do not know how to response to what she said, he had this quiet, blank stare on his face while looking at her.

She is about to say something when...

"Well.. I really want to know more about you clarisse so.. I want us to be friends." josh said.

"Why?" (clarisse).

"What do you mean, why?" josh asks with a bit of confusion in his face.

"Well I know for a certain that you have a lot of friends already so... why me? why do you wanna be friends with me?" clarisse look at josh straight in his eyes as she ask him.

Josh on the other hand is a little bit suprise about her question.

"Well, since I approach you and tried to talk to you in our first meeting in class... I... I felt that I wanna be friends with you with no particular reasons." (josh)

'and hope that you remember me' josh blurted these words in the back of his mind.

"Is that not good enough?" josh asks.

Clarrise was taken a back with her question and his answer towards her.

"Well.. I think it's okay.. sorry for being not reasonable, asking a strange question on you." she blush from embarassment.

"No, it's okay. I understand you since I was the one who approach you, you find it strange because we really didn't know each other and yet I persist to be friends with you." (josh).

Clarisse smile at josh and felt some what comfortable already. She didn't think that josh would approach her again and she was really happy about it. They got to chat some more as the teacher is not present until the the class ends, they seperate their ways because clarisse is going to her part time job already and josh is going to his next class.
