Chapter 1

I am Bai Mei, twenty-three years old. P eople always say that I am a beautiful woman because I have a long brown wavy hair, curly long eyelashes, a pointy noise and a kissable pink lips but I think that my face is only an appearance. Ever since I was born I only experienced misfortune. My parents decided to divorce when I was three years old; I have been staying with my mother ever since they agreed to separate. I have been working hard just to achieve my dreams and to lead a wonderful life for my mother who was struggling to provide me the best she can do. I thought everything was okay until I entered a weird game.

Few hours ago

I woke up early in the morning and fixed my bed and also combed my hair. I decide to jog early today than I normally used to, I changed to my gray sports bra and gray sweatpants and start eating my breakfast.

I grabbed my black Iron water bottle and my sky blue colored towel and went downstairs; I went directly to the door and opened it for me to go out

“Mom, I am going out now” I quickly went out from my house; I scanned my phone and searched for music and played it. I saw a weird man wearing all black staring at me but I have disregarded it, I put my earphones at my ears and started running.

I was running for thirty minutes and heard my phone rang and saw Shasha number was calling me.

“What Is It?” I quickly answered the phone with an annoyed voice

“Did I disturb you?

“No, I was planning to end my exercise and go home” I grabbed my towel and wiped away my sweats. I am surprised that she called me early in the morning like she wasn’t like this.

“What do you want? You won’t call me unless you need something from me?”

“What can’t I just call my best friend? Let’s meet at the xxx and go shopping” she replied me with a firm tone.

“Okay, let me change my clothes first” I went to the table where I placed my water jug and start going home, after I have arrived at home I went to the bathroom and start taking a bath. I changed to my white tube and a skirt; I grabbed my black jacket and wore it since It Is cold outside the house.

I went to the coffee store where I could meet Shasha. She is drinking a hot coffee inside but when she saw me she waved her hands and while smiling at me. I smiled and waved back at her.

“Did you wait for too long?” I have asked her while ordering for a coffee that I will drink and sit beside her.

“No, I just arrived earlier than we talked about”

“Should we go already?” I stand up from my chair

We went to the xxx shopping mall and stumble upon an ancient accessory store. ‘Was this here all along or is this a new store?’ we went inside and looked for the accessories that were placed in the store. I was about to ask Shasha but she was so Immersed with the accessories she have seen. One necklace had captured my eyes, a blue and purple mixed color on the shell. I decided to take it home

“Can I take this, how much Is this?” I looked at the female attendant and she smiled at me

“For a beautiful lady like you, we will give you a promotion. If you will buy another one, we will give the necklace to you for free.” I looked around and saw a beautiful pair of bracelet that would match the necklace; I pointed the bracelet

“I will take that one as well”

“What a perfect match” the female attendant gave me a reassuring smile and hand me the bracelet and the necklace. I went outside the store and saw shasha standing in the hall.

“Shasha, let’s go”

“Where have you been? Let’s go”

I was confused what she meant by that because we went together inside the store. We went shopping for a couple of hours now and decided to go home.

“Shasha, let’s go sleep over at my house” I asked her because It has been months since we had a sleep over.

“Good there are things that I want to talk about” she was in hurrying tugging me out to the exit door.

We were walking down the street and I noticed that the man earlier this morning was walking towards us, when we were about to walk pass each other he suddenly whispered strange to me.

"Go and Complete the tasked assign to you, you'll be rewarded" I quickly turned around and look at him

“Do you know him?” Shasha asked me with a confused look.

“No, I don’t know him”

We went inside the bus and sit down and continued to talk until we reached at my place “Mom we’re home, Shasha Is with me” I went to the kitchen and kissed my mother cheeks.

“HI, Shasha! How are you?”

“HI Auntie, I am doing well. I am going to sleep over here” we sat on the table and start eating dinner.

We went to my room and change our clothes to my pink pajamas; I lie down on my bed and think what the man meant with his words?

‘It is probably a joke’ I looked at Shasha sleeping in the side of my bed

‘I was thinking that we will talk to each other and have fun but she is already sleeping’ so I start to close my eyes and try to sleep

"Miss wake up! The second concubine is going to visit here in 2 hours." Someone is wiggling me but I didn’t wake up.

"Ten more minutes Shasha, It’s still early." I told her with a sleepy tone in my voice

“Miss what are you talking about? I am not Shasha I am your maid”

'When did we have a maid?'

I suddenly rose up to my bed and see unfamiliar room. It has big curtains and a wide table and the door looked like it was used in an old house. I continued to looked around and see a person wearing a long blue that looked like a robe and her hair is tied up like a pigtail buns

"Is this a drama film? When did I apply for it?" she looked at me puzzle face and replied "Miss what are you talking about? This is your home."

"My home?" I asked her and have a confused look in my face. Then I realized that it's not my voice and quick shouted

"BRING ME A MIRROR AT ONCE!" I looked at the mirror and see a different person. I have now red silky hair, a little chubbier than me and have a little scar in my neck.

Thousands of questions have popped out in my head

"Who is this person?'

'Why do I look so different?'

I looked at the girl and asked "I'm sorry but who are you?" she looked at me with a sincerely eyes that would cry in a few seconds.

"Miss, did you lose your memories after you bumped your head on the wall?" she cried and kneeled in the floor. Since I don't recall any of her memories I'll just pretend that I have lost my memories.

"Can you tell me about myself, who am I and what kind of person am I? And tell me your name?"

"Miss, I am Sky your servant since then and about you, Miss you are twenty-three years old the first eldest daughter of this house not until those concubines did something wrong with your mother and seduced your father. Not only the concubine daughter bullies you and also made fun of you and destroyed your reputation. I guess those concubine want to obtain the wealth of this family and also dared to harm the legal wife and daughter of this family.

"Sky can you see that there is something right here floating?" I pointed at the direction where the screen was located

"Miss, what are you talking about? There is nothing in there?" she looked at me with a weird looked in her face.

"Never mind, I guess I am the only one who can see this" I read the note written in the screen
