The descendents of the Great Hero of Humanity are now ruled over the continent named Dikcethen.

The current king is Fukuzawa Yagami. He has 3 sons and 2 daughters. His oldest son Suho is the next candidate for the throne —

It's morning, Suho is practicing his swordsmanship in their garden. One of his servants “My lord it's almost time for today's ritual”

Suho stops practice and starts walking toward his room and thinking on his mind

“ it's a ritual our family is performing for generations. It's mainly about a test to judge who is worthy to become ruler. Although normally the oldest son become ruler but still they judge before giving the power and today is the day.”

After some time Suho get ready and stand front of their mansion “Where do we have to go for it?”

His personal knight William “ The ritual will take place in the royal palece of haven in the main city.”

“I see, so should we get going?”

“ Yes my lord, the carriage is ready”

Suho stepped on the carriage. 'It's a royal carriage only used by the royal family'

The carriage started moving. 'From my mansion royal palace is a bit far away it might take 2 or 3 days'

' I'm the oldest son of the current king and am 15. At the ritual there would be more of my siblings. After Hero Yagami his descendents splinted into many branches, so now there are so many kids around my age. Although I have a better chance to become the ruler still everyone will try there best. And it might work.'

“ My lord it's getting dark we are planning to camp here tonight ”

At this moment another carriage had arrived.. Suho turn back ...

A boy around his age stepped out from carriage “Oh.. it's been a while. Brother Suho...”

Suho turns and sees the face he doesn't want

“Noris…” Suho muttered

“It really has been a while, hasn't it?” Noris walked forward. “How have you been brother Suho?”

“Great until I see your face ....” Suho replied with an annoying face.

Behind Noris, a shorter boy jumped down from the carriage with a cheerful expression. “Brother Suho!You remember me, right? It’s me, Ryuken!”

“Yeah I remember you. You have gotten taller!”

Ryuken laughed “I’ve been training with Master Drel. He says I’m a fast learner!”

“Wow it's really good to hear…” Suho glanced at Noris—

“Well, I hope you’re ready. The ritual’s not going to be easy.”

“Oh, I’ve been more than ready,” Noris replied with a smirk. “Don’t underestimate us just because we’re from the second queen.”

“ Let's see" Suho said with burning anger.....

Inside the palace, the walls were lined with stories of Hero Yagami's deeds—slaying beasts, commanding armies, and finally sealing the Demon King.

The throne room was crowded with Several nobles and officials.

Suho’s siblings from various branch families stood together—some greeted him with respect and some showed jealousy toward him.

The large golden doors creaked open, and in came the king.

Fukuzawa Yagami entered with the presence of a legend. Though older, his eyes still held the fire of battle.He walked to the throne and sat down. Everyone in the hall went silent.

“Today,” the king began...

“marks the 200th year of peace since the fall of the Demon King. As is tradition, we gather to perform the Trial of Worth, to find the rightful person who shall lead Dikcethen into the future.”

“The Trial will test your spirit, skill, and wisdom. But above all, it will test your will to protect this world.”

A man stepped forward. He carried a staff marked with an ancient symbol. “I am High Judge Kalden, executor of the Trial. You will all be tested in three phases. The first phase begins at dawn tomorrow. Rest well,tomorrow is going to be banger.”

The crowd murmured. Suho stood still, absorbing every word.

‘This is it,’ he thought. The true battle begins

Noris smirked. “I hope you’re ready, Brother. Because I won’t go easy.”

Suho turned, meeting his half-brother’s eye “Same to you.”
