Episode 2: the look

growing up in a Nigerian home is far more different than growing up in an American home, now when it comes to women in Nigeria to be especially women like my mom MEN!!!!! they do not mess around like I really mean they don't mess around one mistake and you gonna get a   spanking real hard. I remember this one time when I was a kid I went to a friends birthday party and they severed our food I could literally feel the anger from my mom from far away and when I turned to check just to make sure, YES it was that look saying (you eat it, oh you gonna get a good beating) well I didn't care about it that much I just ate it anyway, feeling cool shes not gonna do anything, nowhere is the thing about my mom there a way she looks at you that will you know if it's safe to do that thing or not and that's how everybody in my house knows when someone is in deep trouble cause of that look. To be honest even my dad doesn't want to get on the wrong side of my mum if not...... we all know what that means wait for a minute now that I think of it I just remembered that anytime I was in deep trouble everybody will just magically disappear into their rooms living me to my last prayers with mum before the beating.

  well to mom if you are reading this I love you and I still love even after all the smacks, beating you've given me.
