Chapter#3: FRIENDSHIP

He was thinking about this and suddenly someone came near him and called his name "Oliver Adley" in a a very sweet voice. He raised his head and remained stunned as it was her, the girl about whom he was thinking just now.

She said to Oliver Adley, "Hi,How are you?"

He remained stunned for a moment and then said "I, i am fine ".

It seemed like he didn't believe that the girl he wanted to talk with, just came to him and said "Hi".

He thought it was a dream but it really wasn't. She was actually there standing right infront of her.

He stood up from the chair as he didn't consider it appropriate to talk with her while sitting on the chair whereas she was standing . He did not stand from his chair when other  girls came to talk with him earlier at the start of the break period but he stood up from his chair  for giving respect to her.

She said "My name is 'Amelia Webley'  and  i am the class monitor, if you have any kind of difficulty in the class, you can talk freely with me"

"Okay" he could barely say just this single word.

After that the girl turned back and went to the front of the class to sit on her chair. Oliver also sat down on his chair. After a little while everyone came inside the class including "Edward Abram" as the time of the  break was almost over.

Teachers came,gave lectures and went. Time flew like the flowing water of a river and finally last lecture started of his first day of the college.

At the end of this last lecture of the day, teacher gave an assignment to the students. A group of 3 students had to prepare assignment on one topic.

Students were allowed to chose their groupmates according to their own will. Amelia came behind to ask Edward, to whom should they choose

to complete the group of 3 members.

Oliver could hear their conversation as she was near him because Edward

was sitting next to Oliver.

Oliver was still confused about the relation of Amelia and Edward.

Is Amelia Webley a friend of  Edward Abram?

OR

Are they in love with each other?

While Amelia and Edward were thinking about the 3rd member of the group,Oliver Adley said to monitor that "Can i become the 3rd member of your group?

It's my first day in the college and i don't have any friends here yet.Edward and Amelia looked towards each other and then agreed.

The topic on which they had to prepare assignment was "Bioethics"

Whole class was given a time period of one week to prepare the assignment. So for the whole next week Oliver had to go to the college library with both of them to prepare assignment on time.

All three of them tried their best for preparing  the assignment and this is how their friendship started.
