He Became A Girl
Cassian, notorious playboy, was known for his good looks and irresistible charm—a charm he wielded ruthlessly, leaving a trail of heartbroken women in his wake. He was arrogant, callous, and utterly unconcerned with the pain he inflicted.
One night, amidst the revelry with his latest conquest, an ancient woman materialized, her eyes blazing with righteous anger. She declared his punishment for his cruel actions.
A jarring alarm ripped Cassian from sleep. Another day, another grind at work. He stretched, yawned, and headed to the bathroom. A strange emptiness greeted his hand as he instinctively touched his groin. Panic seized him. He stared, horrified, at his reflection: breasts. A woman's body. His voice cracked in a silent scream. Where were his… his manhood?
He needed to think. The old woman – was she somehow responsible? He had to find her, but where? His mind, usually sharp and calculating, felt sluggish, clogged with fear. He needed help. Alice, his cousin, was his only hope.
He dialed Alice's number, his voice a shaky whisper when she answered. But how could he explain this? His own voice sounded… feminine. He hung up, pacing frantically.
He had to see Alice. What to wear? He grabbed a pair of baggy hip-hop pants and a loose T-shirt, feeling ridiculous, looking like a wannabe rapper. He crept out of his apartment, glancing nervously around, worried his landlady might see him—him, a woman now. He scrambled into his car and sped off. Alice was his only chance.
He found Alice at home. He rang the doorbell twice before she opened it.
"Alice," he said, his voice trembling.
Alice frowned, her brow furrowed in confusion. "Who are you?"
"It's me, your cousin," he insisted.
"I don't have a female cousin!"
"It's Cassian," he pleaded.
Alice scrutinized him, unconvinced. She started to close the door. Cassian stopped her.
"It's really me, Cassian!"
"Don't lie to me! I don't know you! Go away!" Alice snapped.
"It's me…" Cassian desperately searched for a way to convince her. A desperate idea sparked.
"Remember your crush on Elson, our neighbor? You even tried to woo him, but he rejected you. You almost ended your life… remember that? High school, caught sneaking around with someone from another section… and all those diet pills in your room! You wanted to lose weight, but nothing worked."
Alice's jaw dropped. How did he know?
"Okay, okay, come in," she stammered, pulling him inside and seating him on the sofa.
"Alice, help me, please," Cassian begged.
"What happened? Did you take a bunch of pills?" Alice's eyes were wide with alarm.
"No," he said, utterly bewildered by his transformation.
"Then what?"
"I don't know! I just woke up like this!" He was a child again, rolling on the sofa in despair.
"You're cursed!" Alice whispered.
"I don't know, I just woke up like this!"
What now? He longed for his old body, but how could he get it back?
"Alice, help me."
"Once a curse, always a curse," she murmured.
"What do you mean?"
"Like in the movies, you only get your old self back by doing good deeds,"
"That's a movie, Alice! This is real!"
What would become of Cassian? Would he ever reclaim his former self? The once-arrogant playboy was now a woman, forced to confront a new reality. His arrogance had been replaced by fear and confusion. This was the beginning of a new life, a life he never expected, a life that demanded a reckoning with his past. The transformation had stripped him of his arrogance, leaving only a raw, desperate need for redemption. His new reality as a woman gave him a newfound empathy, a searing understanding of the struggles faced by women in a patriarchal society. The fear of his new form was slowly giving way to a profound remorse for the pain he had caused so many women.
