Armin Arlert x reader

You skimmed through a paragraph of your book. You knew you probably shouldn’t be reading this while you were studying but you did it anyway. A large book plopped beside you making you jump. You looked up. A long haired blonde boy stood there smiling brightly. “Mind if I study with you” he asked politely. You nodded, knowing you shouldn’t saw no. This guy looked to nice to reject, plus you had heard good things about him. “My names Armin!” He said. You paused. Closing your book, you held out your hand to him. “I’m (y/n)” you said smiling. Armin shook your hand. “I’ve heard good things about you!” He started “apparently your as smart as me!” You blushed. “Haha, I’m not that smart!” You chuckled. Armin laughed. “Shall we get on with studying then?” He smiled. You nodded. You moved your book out of the way showing the papers you had been working on underneath. “Woah!” Armin said suddenly. He held up one of the papers and pointed at it. “D-did you do this?!” He asked excitedly. You sat up straight. “Y-yeah” you replied. Stunned, Armin put the paper back on the table and studied it carefully. You leant in close to the paper and pointed out something to Armin and explained it to him. Armin looked so happy that it was easy to think he would wet himself. For the next hour You and Armin studied together, not realising how the time went past. After a while Armin looked up at the clock on the wall. “Wow! Have we really been studying this long?!” He said, still staring at the clock. You looked at the clock too. It was 8:56 at night. You had both missed dinner and most people would probably be in bed! Armin looked at you. You turned to him. You both laughed. You stood up smiling and packed up your things. “It was nice meeting you Armin” you said smiling. Armin stood up. “Likewise (y/n)” he answered. You both headed out of the building and to your dorms. As you entered the girls dorm Sasha stood there at the door smiling. You were confused. “Sooooooo...” she started “hanging out with Armin today eh?” You stepped back from her. You looked past her, at all the other girls. Mina smiled and gave you a thumbs up. Still confused, you looked back at Sasha. She was still smirking at you. You sighed. “Yeah, so what” you said, expressionless. Sasha’s smile turned to a worried frown. “W-why do you always get so scary all of a sudden?” Sasha mumbled. You sighed, walking past her. You were to tired to deal with her. You were going to bed, plus you had to practice in the ODM gear again tomorrow so you needed energy.

You stopped on a thick branch, panting furiously. You sat down for a moment. You weren’t the best with odm gear but some days were better than others, and today was one of those days where nothing seemed to work. You wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t make the top ten. You sighed. You thought of your younger sister. She thought that your would be an awesome soldier no matter what. You didn’t have to be physically strong to be a soldier, sometimes smarts help a lot more than actions. You blushed slightly. The thought of smart soldiers reminded you of Armin. You smiled just thinking about him. Your ‘very important’ thinking was interrupted by a scream. You jolted hearing it. It sounded familiar. You rushed to where you had heard it. You went past multiple trees, worried for the soldier that had just screamed. You went past a thick tree and behind it was the soldier, a blonde soldier. You went toward them and landed on a branch under them. Armin was there hanging upside down from his odm gear. His expression was kind of amusing. Surprisingly he hadn’t noticed that you were there. You giggled quietly and used your odm gear so that you were right way up near Armin. Armin gasped as he saw your face. You crossed your arms and smirked. “I thought you’d be smart enough to not do something like this” you teased. Armin laughed. “Well it’s actually quite fun being upside down, of course I’d want to be right way up more than I want down but don’t you think I’m kind of like Eren now?”he joked. You laughed. “Sure what every you say blondey\~” you teased. Armin blushed and looked away, embarrassed. You giggled. “Cute\~” you chirped. Armin whipped his head back to face you. His face was bright red. “U-u-umm” he stuttered. You giggled again. Armin averted his eyes from you. ‘Why is she so cute?!’ Armin thought. He turned back to you. He sighed slightly and gulped. Suddenly you felt something soft touch your lips. You opened your eyes abruptly to find Armin it was kissing you. You were stunned but not surprised. You were thinking about kissing him before but he beat you. You smiled slightly and threaded your hands through his soft blonde hair. Armin parted lips with you and you both hung there staring into each other’s eyes. You snorted and Armin laughed. “Ok ok let me help you down blondey\~” you giggled. “Yeah someone’s probably wondering where we are” Armin replied, smiling. “Oh I’m pretty sure we know where you are already” a voice said. You whipped your head around. Eren, Reiner, Sasha, Connie, Mina and Mikasa were hanging onto a tree behind you and armin smirking cheekily. Your face flushed bright red, same with Armin. “How long have you guys been there?!” Armin shrieked, still hanging upside down. “Long enough to know what you guys did” Reiner laughed. Flustered you turned back to Armin. Armin smiled, worryingly. You kissed his nose quickly. “See you later” you whispered. Armin smiled and you zipped off back to camp.
