Myself

My name is Hazel and I am twenty three years old.

I am usually a shy and an optimistic person ( that's what I am).

One day I overhead my parents talking with my doctors . They said I had ' coronary artery disease ' and yes like its name its a serious heart disease .

Ever since I was a kid I had a very weak heart and many doctors told me I would not survive past 19 years .

But I am very lucky and now I am twenty three .

The doctors said if I don't get a heart transplant within a two years period. There was nothing they could do to help me .

And ,yeah Who would donate a heart ???

And so, I gave up on it and tried to live my life happily so as to not have any regrets .

My parents on the other hand tried and did whatever they could to find a donor .

One year passed my unknowingly.

On the remaining time ,my parents to go travel the world and sure enough it was my dream to travel the world one day .

Me along with of my close friend - Lyn and Grace prepared to depart the next day .

And guess where we went .It's PARIS -the city of love / romance as how people know it .

We reached Paris in the early morning and excitedly went to our hotel room.

It was such a thrilling experience .

In the Afternoon we went to the market where a local fair was held .We went into each stall one by one.

Suddenly through the crowd a speeding motorcycle was heading towards .I tried to move but my body just freeze there ,not knowing what,I closed my eyes ,turned away and guarded my face with my hands.

Then, the vehicle stopped producing a very loud 'screeechhhh' sound .OH MY GOD ,"God I know I don't have many time left so couldn't you just let me live peacefully in my remaining days!!!" was only thing that came on my mind!!!

Lyn was lucky she went to the washroom and Grace of course almost felt into the nearby fountain trying to pull me out .

Then ,the person riding the vehicle came out and lend out his hand saying " Oh, I am so so sorry ,I was just in a hurry I hope you're not hurt anywhere?? " he asked .Oh God I almost slapped his face but I hold my temper and said " I am fine mister but I would appreciate it if you don't drive like that! "

He apologised over and over and the crowd were murmuring about his wrongdoing.

He said ,he was in a hurry for something and apologised and went away .Soon the crowd broke away and Lyn came .She asked confusingly " What's the commotion about man?".I replied smiling"Nothing Lyn ,it's just that I almost died earlier than my scheduled time " She asked" WHAT??? Hazel are you okay is your chest pain starting again"I replied laughing "no no ,nothing Lyn I was just messing with you".Then the three of us laughed .

Evening approached and just when we were about to returned back we heard a loud crowd cheering .

We went to check out what it was?

And to our surprised it was a song concert ,

we looked up the stage and found a similar face.

Grace whispered to me" Isn't that the man who was driving the motorcycle this afternoon?".............
