Today is my 5th birthday. I think I should go in the river.

“So today is my birthday, huh. It’s already been 5 years but I still didn’t know if there is magic in this world.”

What should I do today?

Should I go home?

Mom said yesterday that there would be a birthday party for me today.

Maybe I should just sleep in the room, for the time being.

I’ve fallen asleep without noticing the time; it was already past 5.

“Akihiko, wake up it’s already past 5.”

“Sorry mom I didn’t notice the time.”

“Moh, you’re such a sleepy head.”

“Yeah, yeah, sorry.”

“Let’s go, the party is going to start.”

“Okay mom.”

I’m not a sleepy head mom; it’s just that it’s so boring.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY AKIHIKO!!”

Huh, is that a witch hat? Isn’t that a witch hat, there’s no mistaking it.

Words came out of my mouth before I notice it.

“That’s a witch hat right, right”

“Oh this, yeah”

“Akihiko”

“Then do you know magic?”

“Akihiko!”

“What do you want mom?”

“Please refrain from asking too much on a guest.”

“No it’s okay.”

“Then do you know magic?”

“Yeah, do you perhaps want to learn magic?”

“Yes, will you teach me?”

“Akihiko don’t be rude.”

“But I want to learn magic.”

“Hehe, hahaha, I was right to buy this book. This is a book for magic.”

“Book?”

“Yeah, I thought this would be a good gift, so I brought it.”

“Thank you.”

“ Do you like it?”

“Yes.”

“Why did you bought something expensive, Roxane”

“It’s okay he likes it anyway.”

“I’m Watanabe Akihiko, you’re Roxane right.”

“Yes.”

“Then what is this Dark Magic?”

“Dark Magic and Light Magic is a superior attribute, than the other attribute.”

“So it’s superior huh, then do you have a Dark Magic attribute? It says here that people have their own attribute, and that most people only posses a two attribute.”

“I only have three attribute Fire, Wind, and Earth.

“Wow, it’s so cool. Will you teach me?”

“Only if you have an Magic Attribute.”

Lets test this out. First feel the Magic Attribute is what the book says.

“Okay, enough chatting, and let’s eat.”

“Can I practice first before I eat?”

“Nope it’s your birthday, so you should stay.”

“Then after this, can I practice?”

“Of course you can.”

“Then, will Master Roxane teach me?”

“Nope, she won’t.”

“Why?”

“Why not, I’ll teach you for an hour only.”

“Really?”

“Why would I decline if someone calls me Master.”

After I finish my dinner, I eagerly read the instruction on how to feel the presence of the magic attribute. Master then instructed me as what to do.

“Is this right master?”

“Yeah, you’re doing fine, feel it inside your body.”

Feel it inside my body. Feel it. What’s this it’s so hot, I feel like my body’s burning in fire.

“Wahhh, so hot, it’s so hot.”

What? How can he feel the fire attribute at a fast rate?

“Master it’s so hot.”

“Don’t worry it means you had an attribute of Fire Magic. Try to recite this incantation, Fire gather in my palms, Fire.”

“Fire gather in my palms, Fire.”

As I recited the words that master teaches me, a huge fire ball have been shoot out of my palms.

“I did it master.”
