never trust what a boys mothers say cuz even the mother of criminal will say that he is rare gem and kind hearted 😒 .cuz I have seen it .My friend got married to her mothers childhood friends son ,and it happened despite knowing that ,that boy doesn't even earn of his own ,just living on his fathers money still seeing his parents close to them they decided to marry them cuz as usual they described their son flawless and one cannot judge based on 1 meet but u see thats how indian society and marriage works , its all about his parents are well off or if he is govt employ or someone settled abroad not even considering the broader perspective like his character and blah blah ,so the friend got married and ,that so called MIL made her life hell ,her husband was no less ,her parents were crying marrying their only daughter to a man like that,but they could not do anything so they approached an elder for a middle solution ,cuz u see divorce is still a taboo in the society not to tell she was pregnant ,I guess ,so elders suggested that they should be separate from his parents and live in a different house and earn of his own and made FIL understand that the girl is also someone's daughter ,although MIL was not ready for it but the elders talked to FIL and he agreed and separated them now they are happy with a son and her husband is also treating her well ,so conclusion is NEVER EVER give ur daughter to someone just based on others words or guarantee ..😬

its absolutely given and honestly what u should check the most about is not compatability but if is still clings on to the memoried if his ex ,did he really left her physically and mentally or just in a brooding phase like those characterless mans who jnorder to take revenge or make their ex jealous use the other girls feelings and plzz if he even gas any kind of keepstake of his ex the marriage should be off the table ..see to it if he truly moved on or wants to move on and not just giving into his mothers worries or him finding an escape of her nagging and destroying others life cuz u wanna "protect"ur own heart from another betrayal ...
