The room was still heavy with sex—the scent thick, the air warm, sticky.

Her body was draped across his chest, trembling, spent. Her inner thighs were slick and sore, her skin dotted with bruises and the faint red bloom of his fingertips.

“Wha—Rei…?” she barely managed, too sore to sit up.
