The Pink Diamond.

The air in Vana’s subterranean laboratory was a stark contrast to the gloom of Luna’s safe house. It was sterile, humming with the low thrum of advanced machinery and the faint, coppery scent of ionized air. Luna walked with a new purpose, her movements sharp and confident. She was no longer just the avenger—Moon sin’s final words, "Lead," had ignited a fundamental shift within her. She was a weapon now, but she was also in command of that weapon.

“Luna, my friend! You’re looking… different,” Vana said, her voice a bright, melodic chime that belied the seriousness of her profession. Vana was an eccentric genius, a whirlwind of energy with wild, purple-streaked hair and oversized goggles perched on her forehead. She was a crucial, trusted link from Luna’s old life, a scientist who had always been intrigued by the potential of the unseen.

“I’m here for the armor,” Luna stated, her voice devoid of its usual softness. “I’m ready.”

Vana’s smile faded, replaced by a look of profound understanding. “I see,” she murmured, her eyes softening. “It’s a different kind of war now, isn’t it?” She gestured to a pod in the center of the room, a sleek, glass-encased cylinder holding nothing but a shimmering, empty space.

“The Invisible Weave. My masterwork,” Vana said, pride returning to her voice. “It’s an armor forged from a quantum-phase material. When it’s active, it's a seamless extension of your will, invisible to the naked eye. But you'll need a visible anchor—a distraction. For that, I’ve given it a subroutine. At will, for one minute, it can be made visible."

With a tap on her console, a beam of light shot into the pod. The empty space shimmered, coalescing into a stunning, form-fitting dress made of a deep, iridescent purple material that seemed to catch and hold the light. It was elegant, deadly, and utterly beautiful.

“It’s a dress?” Luna asked, her brow furrowed in a moment of surprise confusion.

“A beautiful dress is the perfect disguise, Luna,” Vana explained with a smirk. “Everyone will be looking at the woman in the gorgeous gown, not the shadow that can vanish at will. It’s a trick of the light and the mind. It is also completely bulletproof.”

Luna stepped into the pod. As the armor fused with her body, a sense of power bloomed within her. The material was weightless, a second skin. It felt both like nothing and everything at once. A touch of a hidden switch on her wrist, and the stunning dress shimmered, faded, and then vanished, leaving her in her normal clothes.

As Luna was preparing to leave the lab, she paused by a half-open door, the muffled voices of Vana’s assistants drifting out from within.

“Did you hear? The Old Castle’s key codes are all based on the Diamonds.”

“Yes, I know! It’s crazy. I heard the Moonsin family were all Diamond Keys. The mother was a Blue Diamond, the sister a Red Diamond, the brother a Purple Diamond. And Moon sin herself was the Yellow Diamond.”

Luna’s breath caught in her throat. Her hand instinctively went to her silver chain, now a symbol of her true self.

“And who was the fifth one? The Pink Diamond?” the first assistant asked.

“The records are incomplete. But we do know that when the five Diamond Keys unlock the Old Castle, there will be something so powerful that it could end the world.”

The conversation faded as the assistants walked away, but the words echoed in Luna’s mind. She was no longer just a girl seeking revenge. She was a key.

A Pink Diamond. The very thing Dark Web was hunting. Her entire perception of the conflict shifted, from a personal vendetta to a war over something that could obliterate everything.

With her new armor in place and a fresh, terrifying understanding of her role, Luna left the lab. Her steps led her not to the streets, but to a hidden cave behind her family’s old estate, a secret she had known about since childhood. It was a place she had never explored, a place she hadn’t grown-up enough to venture into

. Now, she was ready. She found the cave, its entrance obscured by thick vines, and stepped inside, a faint tunnel leading her into the unknown.
