Episode 1

Moonlight lit up the cold hard ground. I could see shadows...or maybe that was my shadow. Grass rustled below my knee. Billboards shone across the sky. Footsteps pounded behind me as I ran far far away. No time to stop. No time to get a break. They're coming after me. They're gonna get me. I will hide and I will run. I refuse to give in. I will put up a fight till I've tried my best. Won't go down unless I have no other option. These people have gotten my family already. Murdered poor innocent souls. Just to get me. I won't let that happen. I have nothing left to lose but myself. So I'll run. Run away till no ones behind me. Run away till I am in an unknown place even I can't get out of. Run away to a place where I'm a passerby. A place where I go unnoticed. A place to settle in so I won't have to run away again. A place to call home. I've been running my whole life. I'm special. I'm different from people. And that comes with consequences. Many. No one in this world is like me. I don't belong here. Or maybe I do. I don't know who I am. What I am. I know these people want me. Want to make use of me. It's not just them. It's anyone who's like them. Power hungry monsters. Curious demons. Foolish people. The footsteps have gotten weaker behind me as I slide in to my apartment. Grabbing my suitcase and money, I change into my incognito costume and slip out the door, cautious of anyone and everyone around me. No one can see me, after all its midnight in London. Sure they may be cars, but everyone's minding their own business.No one suspects that a teen might be running from a deadly group of mutants. Or that an entire family got killed today. No one cares either. In fact, when police officers find dead bodies, it'll be too late and they probably won't care either. As a matter of fact, the police is probably corrupt and has beings in it, who will cover it up, so it won't reach them in the first place. We didn't have friends here either, so no one will remember us. I guess that was the point. Move to be forgotten. Blend to go unnoticed. The less attention, the longer we stay. But, I messed everything up. Don't think about that now I tell myself as I run, still glancing behind me. Soon, I see it. The structure of pain. The end. My soon to be new beginning. Gliding out of the shadows, I head into the airport. Checking in my bag, I make my way through security and the terminals. Next stop, USA. My new home is Austin, Texas. That's right. A U S T I N. Beautiful hot Austin. Pulling my phone out, I reread UT's acceptance letter. College life here I come. Texas... y'all better watch out.
