Yu and I get out of the changing cabins and stare at each other. We wonder if it's the custom dresses for us.
"Okay. They are pretty much done, but it's too slacked at the back. We'll work on that and we'll give you a call when they're ready." he announces before we go back to change.
We get out of the cabins for the second time and decide to shop a little. We go eating together before going back to our homework at home.

Once I'm done with my homework, I go to the basement to get tissues and sewing machines and start my summer prototypes. As I start, Grandfather walks in.
"I need to talk to you Lin." he says slowly.
"I'm all ears." I stop my machine and listen to him.
"As you know, your father hasn't been on his best behavior before he moved in. You might have seen him behaving better since he moved in to impress me and to get me to change my mind about him not being my principal heir. But I don't think he's ready to be at the top of an international firm." he explains.
"But who will it be if it's not him?" I ask uncertainly.
"I don't know. You're too young, but I can't put Anran there, because she's not ready. It would probably be Meixing. But I promise you that if I come to pass away when you're at least twenty years old, you will get the direction of the company." he responds.
"I understand but you need to calm down Grandfather. You're only fifty-six years old." I reassure him.
He does that all the time. Cutting time short when it comes to his decisions. He's got time but he doesn't see it very much.
"I know, but..." he lowers his voice to continue. "I don't want either Meixing or Anran to be at direction of my company." he admits.
"I get it. I'm stressed about their possibilities too. We'll watch them closely to see if they are ready. Are you okay with that?" I ask him finally resting peacefully, because he has the same opinion as me about them.
"That's alright. But I thought you loved them. What changed your opinion?" he questions me.
"I guess we've just been more distant lately. Plus, I don't get along too well with Meixing. I don't feel like she likes me." I say so he believes I'm sensible.
"Who wouldn't like you little Linlin? Don't worry as long as your old grandpa is on your side. And for now, I am." he reassures me.
I pretend to be blessed, but I'm happier about the fact that he is by my side than the fact he tried to reassure me. In my old life, he had always backed Meixing until she killed him with Anran. I will not let it happen.

I stand back from the toilet after losing my breakfast to myself. I go back to my room and I see a paper with my name on it. It's from Xin school and it's probably the positive answer I'm waiting for since the admission exam was the easiest thing I've accomplished in my life. I open the letter and see the same result as my last life. Accepted. Then it's the same discourse all over again. I applied at the three best schpols in the country and got accepted to all of them. I might just go where my friends go then. I assume Grandfather knows already but I go announce it. I don't really have to be proud of myself because I was always really good at school and I already knew I was accepted. Once I get back to my sewing machine, I get ready to end the dress I planned and drew a month ago. I can't wait for it to get approved, because it's my first dress sewing by myself.
"Sorry to bother you Miss Lin, but your Grandfather wants to know if your dress is completely sewed yet. If yes, he wants to see it to get it approved by the company's designers." Michael, the new domestic announces.
"I'll be coming downstairs in three minutes. Thank you Michael." I say, finishing my sewing.
