I’m Amelia...an ordinary high school girl..today I’m going to a new school..and I’m so excited and nervous at the same time..will I be able to make new friends..although I’m habituated to this as I changed schools every 2 yrs till now,still this always makes me nervous.

My aunt is preparing meal in the kitchen..yes ..I live with my aunt (mom’s sister and her son).My mom and dad got separated when I am in 1st class and my mom got remarried when I am in 5th.She lives with my step dad in other state.Not that I am angry about that..as my mom made many sacrifices for my sake...but still it makes me a little sad..I miss her ,you know..😔😔

But this is a new day..I hope something good happens and my life gets excited..They say that this new school has scored top ranks in 10th board exams..compared to my previous school..so I’m changing schools for obvious reasons..but the thing is it is a co-education.whereas my previous one was an all girls school...I’m a bit nervous for that fact..I hope everything goes well..and I’m excited😬😬

I am all ready for my first day..I packed my bag and left my home ..headed to my bus stop...and reached school ..it’s amazing just like I imagined it to be...

I entered the school..it’s big and excellent..I entered my class room ..I am a little shy and introvert..I don’t know how to start a conversation..so I just went and sat in the back bench.

Then a girl came to me..

Girl: Is the seat taken??

Me:No, u can sit.

Girl: Hi..this is Hiran.

Me:kiran??

Hiran: No..it’s Hiran...’h’.

Me:sorry.

Hiran: No problem ..that happens with me a lot😄..don’t worry about that.

And you are??

Me:Hi..I’m Amelia kapoor..new student ..are you new too??

Hiran: No..because of the recent shuffling of sections ..all my friends were in the next section and I’m all alone 🙁

Luckily I found you ..looks like we are gonna make a great team ✌🏻

Me :yeah 😄..may be.

Then we talked about a number of things..how is each faculty ..how are our classmates..sometimes bitching ..sometimes gossiping...looks like I found myself a good friend..she is very hyper...always very excited..She is the kind of person..you get tired just by looking at her😄

But she is fun and I liked her.

Just like that my day came to an end...I had a great time on my first day ..without any fomo feeling..just because of Hiran..thank god that I found someone like her...otherwise my day would have been very boring.

Then we both headed towards school busses and ...there were like 30 busses over there..and guess what??..we both are in the same bus..

Hiran :-Oh My God!!!we both are in the same bus. Now it seems like we are destined to be friends from the start😄😄

me: yeah😃😃

Then the usual chit chat in the bus..and I finally reached home. The rest of the day was normal.I ate ,watched TV ,talked to my aunt..had some fun and slept at 9:00pm....(yeah..I slept at 9:00 pm ..I know that’s too early..but that’s how it is in our home...btw..I wake up at 6:00)
