Prologue

(Gasp)Cold sweat trickled down her spine as she stood frozen in the forest, her eyes scanning the darkness. The fog swirled around her, obscuring her view as her gown swept through the forest.

‎ mother Lilith, she called "help your daughter, of help I call

‎  come out for your daughter"

‎She closed her eyes, rubbed her hands together and started to chant, her voice barely audible. Suddenly her clothes was pulled and she fell to the ground.

‎"Call to your God who refused to heed to you, your time is up little child. Its time to face the consequences of your actions. I told you, you can never escape me".

‎ the woman's gaze snapped up,her eyes blazing with defiance and spat at him.

‎"Cat got your tongue now but not your saliva " he scoffed " you are all alone with no one to help and I promise to make your journey smooth and sharp... You should know better than anyone how much we need to wash our city clean of your atrocities and with your blood we shall do so"

‎He dragged her across the pathway and screamed in victory and his guards laughed at the top of their voices.

‎" I refuse to be broken, I refuse..." she muttered and was cut shut with a slap across her face.

‎" flowers are pretty when they are still delicate, princess... if which you do not look like one anymore" you are pathetic with no one to safe you, not even your gods" he said as he pulled her long scattered black hair"

‎" Even now, you disgust me, you lie... I am never alone. You should be scared, for I'll make you fear for your dear life, and nothing in the world will save you. Not even yourself will save you from me" her voice was laced with venom as she shrugged through the pain.

‎The figure's eyes turned red in anger or should I say fear as his hand shakes and she seized the opportunity to run for her life. He snapped back into reality" don't lose her or I'll have you killed" he yelled to his guards in anger. They chased after her but she hold dearly to her gown or life most importantly and ran without looking back.When all hope seems to be lost,a rider on brown horse suddenly appeared his hand stretches out to her and pulled her up,she climbs on the horses back and snuggled into his warm embrace, feeling a sense of safety wash over her but she knew it was only temporary.

‎As the horse galloped away from her pursuers, the princess peeked over her shoulder, her eyes locking onto the figure she had escaped from. His face was twisted in rage, and his eyes seemed to burn with an inner fire. She shivered, despite the warmth of the rider's body, and buried her face in his chest, unsure if she had truly escaped her fate. The rider's arms wrapped around her, holding her close as they rode into the darkness, the only sound the pounding of the horse's hooves and her own breathing.
