“Oh my god!”

“ Rachel, you’re finally here!” Exclaimed Maya as she spread her arms open, waiting for a hug from Rachel.

“ Good to see you again.” Rachel said as she went on for the hug.

“ How are your feeling? Do you feel any better? “ she asked, concern written all over her face.

“ I feel a bit better, but I still can’t stand up. It hurts when I try to.”

“ Don’t worry, I got medicine with me.”

“ Does it taste bitter”

“ It’s medicine, what do you expect?” Casey chimed in.

“ Thank you,” Rachel teased.

“You know, I’m feeling a bit better, maybe I just need a little bit of rest, don’t you think, soooo…….. I don’t think there is need for medicine.”

“ Nope” Rachel replied.

“ You need to take the medication, no matter what. It’s for you to recoverer quick Maya.” She continued.

“ Fine.” She grunted.

Soon, Maya was pouring water into her mouth and soon the pill followed.

“See, it wasn’t even that bad.” Rachel teased.

“Now that the medication is done, let’s talk about out your wedding” Rachel continued.

Maya immediately spat out the water currently in her mouth out of shock.

“What’s wrong Maya?” Rachel and Casey chimed in, worry written all over their faces.

Maya burst into quiet tears, holding her head low from embarrassment and disgust.

“What’s wrong?” Casey asked again.

“H-h-he ,” she managed to say between sniffs.

“Yeah, carry on, what did he do?” Casey emphasised.

“H-he-he he’s cheating on me wi-wi- with,”

“What!!!” Casey exclaimed .

“With who?” Rachel asked, curious.

“ I didn’t see her face, but her name is Jen and she has light brown hair with blonde and purple highlights.”

“They were in the same room, and th-th- they were sa-as- saying how I- I am so st-stu stupid to realise that he ‘s not marrying me for love,” she sniffed “ then Jake said, he’s marrying me for my money, he wa- was planning to kill me on the night of our wedding since half of my assets would be transferredferred to him, he would then claim the rest. He never loved me.” She cried.

Casey and Rachel patted her on the back to comfort her.

“ So what’s the plan?” Rachel asked, wiping away Maya ‘s tears.

“ I’m not sure ‘’. Maya managed to say between sniffs.

“ So do you plan to call off the wedding? or do you -“

“No , I can’t call off the wedding, he’ll suspect that something is going on. That’s the last thing I want to happen.”

“ But you CAN NOT marrying him.” Rachel added.

” I have to find a way to extend the wedding.”

“ But what about the guests? The invitations have already been sent. What do you tell them?”Casey joined in.

“ Forget about it the geusts, what about your parents ? Aunt Linda and Uncle Vic. Have you told them yet ? “

“ No, I haven’t. I don’t know how’s I’m supposed too tell them without hurting their feelings. “
