I never thought I'd have to give up on my dreams to get married. what worse is that I turned 19 only a few months ago and my parents couldnt wait to send me away.

My parents cared for me and protected me but less than my brother.I love my brother but it still annoying when hes being dotted while I'm not.

My parents were old school thinking that guys do the earning and girls stay home.Come on it the 20th century n I cant believe they still have the same mentality. But I'm glad that they atleast sent me to school instead of making me stay home but that didnt stop them from reminding me how useless it was to send me to school.

The man in front of me ,removed the veil. I kept my gaze down, I didnt know if I should be happy or sad.So many things going on in my head that I was lost in my thoughts until he lifted my head up to kiss me. I immediately shut my eyes, I can feel my face burning up THAT WAS MY FIRST KISS!!!

We turned to face the crowd who attended the wedding, I see my parents smiling and my friend Darla giggling at me. I just smiled at them. Zach held my hand in his huge hand and lead me to the car.I dont know why we were leaving so early . I haven't said good bye to my parents, my brother and Darla.

"We are leaving now. I have some business to attend to " Zach said

I felt like my world just crashed down.Did I just get married to a Workaholic!!I felt tears blurring out my vision. I tried not to let it out. I didnt want him to think I'm a cry baby.

So I just turned my head towards the window and looked out trying to calm myself.

We stopped in front of an apartment. Zach got off the vehicle and helped me out. I wouldve thought that he was being considerate but it was only because I was struggling with the gown and he didnt want to be late.

We went up to the 5th floor and he opened the door to a normal looking house.I wasnt from rich family so I didnt really expect anything extravagant, and the house is nice and modern but something seems to be missing.

I was looking looking around when he told me that he's leaving and will be back at night.I was shocked because this isnt how things happens in movies or books. I was confused as to what I'm supposed to do.

I went to change into something comfortable. After getting my makeup removed and my hair washed I wore a white shirt and short which I took from my suit case.I didnt know where I should keep my clothes so I just left them in the suitcase.

I was ever tired after a long day, so I got under the blanket and dozed off as soon as my head hit the pillow.

I woke up when I heard a noise.Suddenly I remembered that I'm no longer at my parents house but in my husbands house.Thats sounded so weird Eh!

I went out only to see Zach wobbling his way towards me. Is he drunk? I thought to my self.And my question was answered as soon as he came closer to me because he reeked of alcohol.

Didnt he says he's going for work related? Why did he drink? I was thinking to myself when I suddenly felt his hand around me. My breath hitched and I quickly held him before he falls down. He was putting all his weight on me that I literally dragged him to the room. I helped him get rid of his coat and shoes before lieing him down on the bed.

I went to the kitchen to get him a glass of water.After getting him to drink water. I quickly cleant the mess he made in the living room, made sure to lock the door and went back to the room.I got under the covers leaving huge gap between us.

I stared at the celling and thought 'Is it because of me ?'
