Chapter 2: A T T E N T I O N

The past days Camiah was receiving a message coming from

Shawn for once in a while. Shawn will message Camiah then sometimes he will

not. There are times that he will try to get her attention. Sometimes Camiah

will ignore his messages and there are also times that she will reply.

IG notification

@shawn_thesheep: Are you fine now?

@camiahxoxo: yeah, kinda.

@shawn_thesheep: Hope you'll be fully fine!

"Woah? What was that?" Camiah asked herself while

having some dinner with her family.

"Anything wrong Cami?" Her dad asked,

"Nothing dad." She said while shaking her head.

"You sure?" "Yes, dad." She said while

smiling.  "Let's just enjoy our

food."

Shawn wants to capture her attention by sending her messages

continuously but he thought she might find him a creep, that's why he decided

to send her a message every other day. He was sitting on his recliner when he

remembers someone. Shawn picks up his phone to message Camiah.

@shawn_thesheep: Hi! Are you fully okay now?

@shawn_thesheep: Are you still down?

Shawn wasn't expecting her reply because he knows that she

might be doubting him.

@camiahxoxo: You are always asking me that every time.

@shawn_thesheep: Oh. Sorry to bother you.

@camiahxoxo: Nah, it's okay, and I'm okay.

@camiahxoxo: Thank you for your concern. I have something to

do.

@shawn_thesheep: Okay, you're welcome. Bye!

 Shawn sighed, "I

think she's still aloof."

 "Who's

aloof?" Shawn's uncle asked with a questioning look.

"No one uncle. Why are you here?" "I need you

to learn this, a part of your training. Your training will end soon."

"Okay, uncle." He said while getting the pile of

folders.

"I'll get going. Don't forget about the family

dinner." His uncle stated and he just nodded with a smile.

Camiah is typing an urgent document for their magazine at

the moment when a notification pop from her phone, it was a message coming from

her creep stranger IG friend who she still doesn't know what his name was.

IG notification

@shawn_thesheep: Hi there. Are you okay now?

@camiahxoxo: Uh? Yeah, I am? But kinda busy right now I'm

sorry.

She replies and starts again typing for some revisions of

their final draft for the magazine. She checks her phone again when she heard

the notification sound.

@shawn_thesheep: No. Sorry for disturbing you. I just wanna

check if you're okay or not?

@shawn_thesheep: Are you thinking that I am a creep? Uh

please don't. I just really want to help.

Yes, Camiah found him as a creep. Like a mushroom, he will

pop out of nowhere. Camiah chooses to ignore the message and focus on the

document.

Shawn was having his exercise at the gym at the moment.

"Should I introduce?" He asked his friend beside

him and his friend answered, "Oh yeah, what a stupid question man! You

should introduce first. Shawn are you stupid?" Shawn glared at his friend,

then realizes he should do introduce in the first place.

@shawn_thesheep: Oh, by the way. I am Shawn Garcia. I am

sorry for not introducing myself in the first place.

@camiahxoxo: To be honest I found you creep at first but you

seem to be comfortable to chat with. I'm Camiah Mendoza.

@shawn_thesheep: So are we good now?

@camiahxoxo: Yeah. I'll talk to you later if that's okay

because I'm rushing some documents right now.

@shawn_thesheep: Take your time. Later!

"Hey man! Come on! Let's grab some snacks."

Shawn's friend called him. Shawn with a smile on his face got up and also head

outside to eat.

It was lunchtime on Camiah's company and she was having

lunch in her office when she remembers Shawn. She got her phone and opens her

Instagram.

@camiahxoxo: Hey? I'm sorry about a while ago.

@shawn_thesheep: Nah. It's fine. I'm in the gym at that

time.

@camiahxoxo: Gym freak haha. I rarely go to the gym.

 "What's with his

username? Shawn the sheep? Like Shaun the sheep I think. Hahaha, that sheep was

clever." She laughed by herself thinking about Shaun the sheep movie.

@camiahxoxo: Your username. I wanna laugh hahaha I'm sorry.

I can't help it. Why Shawn the sheep?

@camiahxoxo: Because of that I remember that movie. It was

funny and entertainment one haha lol.

@shawn_thesheep: Good thing I made you laugh even though my

username is the reason.

@camiahxoxo: Gotta go. Our lunchtime is over. Gonna do some

work again.

@shawn_thesheep: Yeah likewise I need to do some reports

now. Good luck with your work!

@camiahxoxo: Yeah thanks, you too.

"Well, it's not that bad to talk to you after all,"

Camiah said with a smile.

Shawn smiled at his thought, "I think she's getting

comfortable talking with me now."

Shawn and Camiah continued to talk with each other. Though

not every day because they were both busy. Shawn was the first one who will get

the attention of Camiah. They will only talk to each other every lunchtime of

their work, maybe break time or evening. They did become close already, and

both of them are hoping that their closeness will not vanish.
