Beneath the Surface

LEONARDO’s POV

Violet's eyes sparkled as she worked, her focus solely on the task at hand. I watched her, mesmerized by her beauty and determination.

As the day drew to a close, I stood up and walked over to her desk. "Violet, can I talk to you for a minute?"

She looked up, her eyes questioning. "Of course, Leonardo. What's up?"

I leaned against the desk, my eyes locked on hers. "I wanted to ask you something. What do you like to do in your free time?"

Violet's face lit up. "I love reading and hiking. There's something about being in nature that clears my head."

I smiled, intrigued. "I've never been much of a hiker myself, but I'd love to join you sometime."

Violet's cheeks flushed. "Really? I'd like that."

As we chatted, I couldn't help but notice the way her eyes sparkled when she laughed. She was captivating, and I found myself wanting to spend more time with her.

But as I looked deeper into her eyes, I saw something there that gave me pause. A hint of sadness, a shadow of secrets.

What was Violet hiding? What is the truth?

Violet's POV

As I worked, I couldn't help but notice Leonardo watching me. His gaze made me feel like a puzzle piece that didn't quite fit. I tried to focus on my task, but my mind kept wandering back to him.

When he approached me, I felt a flutter in my chest. "Violet, can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked, his voice low and smooth.

I looked up, trying to appear nonchalant. "Of course, Leonardo. What's up?"

He leaned against my desk, his eyes locked on mine. "I wanted to ask you something. What do you like to do in your free time?"

I smiled, feeling a sense of relief. "I love reading and hiking. There's something about being in nature that clears my head."

Leonardo's eyes sparkled with interest. "I've never been much of a hiker myself, but I'd love to join you sometime."

I felt my cheeks flush, and I looked away, trying to compose myself. "Really? I'd like that."

As we chatted, I couldn't help but notice the way Leonardo's eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled. He was charming, and I found myself wanting to open up to him.

But I knew I had to be careful. I had secrets, secrets that could change everything. I couldn't let Leonardo get too close.

As our conversation drew to a close, I felt a sense of unease. What did Leonardo want from me? And how much did he suspect?

“So back to school tomorrow. Violet you remembered that this is only a part time right?” He says with a chuckle.

I flushed and looked away from him“ I just got carried away you know and... I need to study for the Exam Tomorrow.” I say as i remember what I need to do when I get back.

“Well then I guess I’ll go and your shift is almost over anyway.” He says while walking away and when he was close to the elevator door he turned around and says, “Ohh and about the Hiking I’d love to join you if I’m free.”

“When are you free? you go to school and manage a company for God’s sake.” “I don’t go to school I was just a donator there my company donates there, things like computers and books and many more.” He says and winked at me and turned around for the door to the elevator.
