Episode 3 – Whispers in the Well

Village Well

👧 Roai (drawing water): “Please don’t be muddy again...”

💧 Water’s Voice (soft ripple): “Child of light, what’s the reason for your pleading?”

👧 Roai: “Because Mama gets sick from dirty water.”

💧 Water: “Then I will run clear for you.”

(The bucket rose, filled with sparkling clear water. Villagers gasped.)

👩‍🦱 Neighbor Woman: “How did you do that?”

👧 Roai: nervous “I just… asked nicely?”

👩‍🦱 Neighbor Woman: suspicious “Strange girl.”

(Whispers followed Roai back home. Curiosity mixed with unease.)

That night

👧 Roai (whispering): “Water, why do you listen to me?”

💧 Water: “Because you are more than you seem. But be careful. Humans fear what they don’t understand.”

👧 Roai: softly “Then I’ll hide my voice.”

(Her heart ached. Already, her gift felt like a curse.)

Episode 4 – The Cruel Lord

Ashmir Village Square

💂 Guard: “By order of Lord Veyran, extra tax is demanded this season.”

👨 Father: “But we barely survived winter! How can we pay?”

💂 Guard: “Not my problem. Pay or starve.”

(The guard kicked over their grain sack. Roai clenched her fists.)

👧 Roai: “Stop! That’s our food!”

💂 Guard: laughs “Quiet, brat. Poor should Know their place.”

(Roai thought for a moment about the wind’s angry howl, which shifted the guard’s stance. She bit her lip in self-doubt—was the wind's outburst her doing?)

👨 Father: Pulling her away. "Don’t say a word. You’ll get all of us punished."

👧 Roai (whispering): “It’s not fair…”

That night

🌸 Roai (to herself): “I’d fly so far away if I had wings, but I’m grounded.”

🍃 Voice of the Wind: “You can still rise, even if you don’t have wings.”

👧 Roai: quiet tears “Then help me protect them.”

(The wind didn’t promise anything, yet it remained by her window, shielding her dreams.)

Episode 5 – A Secret Gift

Morning – Forest Edge

👧 Roai (pluckin firewood): “Just one more branch...”

🐦 Bird’s Voice: “Little one, you look so tired.”

👧 Roai: “Birds can talk to me too?!”

🐦 Bird: “You always heard us. You just forgot.”

👧 Roai: “If you will, will you help me? Mama needs wood for the fire.”

🐦 Bird: “Follow me.”

(The bird led her to a fallen tree, plenty of dry branches waiting. Roai hugged them gratefully.)

At home

👩 Mother: “Where did you find so much?”

👧 Roai: “A little bird showed me.”

👨 Father, chuckling: “You and your stories, Roai.”

(While her parents laughed, the bird remained perched just outside the window, watching her parents knowingly.)

That night

🍃 Wind’s Voice: “You are awakening, little fairy.”

👧 Roai: “But I’m human now, aren’t I?” (concerned expression)

🍃 Wind: “Both. And soon, you must decide what that means.”

(Roai clutched her blanket, conflicted about two worlds she hadn’t yet come to terms with.)
