After Depression
Jessica trudged through the school's empty hallway, her feet echoing off the lockers. Another long day was finally coming to an end. As she turned a corner Jessica's gaze drifted toward the old art room. It was one of their least favorite places in school, mainly because of the strict teacher who always seemed to find fault in their work.
The art room door was slightly ajar, which caught Jessica's attention. She could have sworn it was closed earlier. Curiosity got the better of her , and She pushed the door open, calling out, "Hello? Is anyone there?"
The room was silent, except for the faint hum of the fluorescent lights overhead. Jessica stepped inside, noticing that the usual mess of paint-splattered tables and half-finished projects seemed tidier than usual. In the center of the room, a peculiar glow emanated from a spot on the floor.
Jessica approached cautiously, feeling an inexplicable pull toward the light. As she drew closer, the glow grew brighter, illuminating a shimmering portal where the floor tiles seemed to ripple and distort. Jessica's heart skipped a beat. What was this? It looked like something out of a sci-fi movie.
Without thinking, Jessica reached out a hand, hesitating just inches from the portal's surface. It felt...warm. Almost alive. A sudden surge of curiosity washed over her , and Jessica stepped forward, disappearing into the portal.
The world around her dissolved into a swirling vortex of colors, and Jessica felt a strange sensation, like her emotions were being pulled apart and put back together again. When the colors finally settled, Jessica found herself standing in a completely different world.
The air was filled with a soft, ethereal glow, and the ground beneath her feet was covered in a thick, velvety moss. Jessica looked around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. She saw creatures that seemed to embody different emotions - a being made of mist and shadow that represented sadness, a fiery entity that embodied anger, and a gentle, luminescent creature that radiated joy.
Jessica's mind reeled as She tried to process what she was seeing. She had always felt like her emotions were a jumbled mess, but here, they seemed to have taken on a life of their own. The creatures regarded Jessica with a curious expression, as if they were trying to understand this new presence in their world.
One of the creatures, a being made of shimmering silver mist, approached Jessica . It spoke in a voice that was like a gentle breeze on a summer day, "Welcome, traveler. We have been waiting for you. You have a key role to play in our world, one that will help you understand and manage your emotions."
Jessica was taken aback, unsure of what to say or do. But as she looked around at the creatures, she felt a sense of wonder and curiosity. she knew that she had to explore this world further, to learn more about themselves and emotions.
