That Night

That Night

CP 1

Prama is running through the bushes in the dark night. A group of cannibals are behind her. Their faces are covered in blood and flesh. A short while ago, Prama had seen three girls being brutally eaten by the cannibals. When the cannibals dug their nails into the chests of the three girls in a very cruel and cruel way, they ripped open their chests and took out their livers and put them in their mouths, Prama screamed in fear

when she saw this scene from behind. The scream of a human reached the ears of a clever cannibal, who listened carefully and warned the others. The other cannibals looked carefully and saw a girl. Immediately, everyone shouted and started running to catch Prama. Prama was running like crazy. The unknown wild animal bit Prama's leg and blood was coming out of her leg, but she did not pay any attention to it. This blood was very insignificant to her own life.

The cannibals are running on long legs like wild boars. Wild cuttings or vine leaves are unable to pierce the thick skin of the cannibals and draw blood.

Prama ran and came to a place in the forest. This place has four corners. Prama did not have time to think about which direction to go. Behind her was a group of violent cannibals.

Prama started running along the north road without thinking. The cannibals were running after Prama, roaring like bulls.

Prama ran and came to a stop in front of a house.

The house is made of wood. The shaky wood looks like it will fly away into the distance if the wind blows a little. Prama, seeing no other way out, entered the house. The inside of the house is strange and scary. There is blood on the walls. The surroundings are very dirty. It smells like vodka. Prama's stomach is about to swell from the stench of rotten blood.

Prama looked around with timid eyes.

Outside, in the weak light of the moon, she saw a picture of a boy on the wall. The boy is charming and beautiful. His body is dark, but he looks so charming. Prama looked at the boy's smiling eyes. She was falling into a daze.

At that moment, a thick, husky voice was heard from behind,

"Who are you?"

Prama turned around and looked back. There was the boy in this picture, wrapped in a black sheet and holding a hurricane in his hand, looking at him with a look of astonishment.

The boy seemed a little annoyed by Prama's silent gaze.

Prama understood this and said,

"My name is Prama, Prama Biswas! I have been chased by some cannibals, I have come running to this house to save my life."

Prama stopped for a moment, the boy was still looking. He was very surprised to see a girl alone in this deserted forest. Prama cleared her throat and said,

"It seems like this is your house.

Will you please give me some shelter to stay tonight?"

The boy was quite surprised again. Prama said in a pleading voice,

"Please don't. I only want shelter for tonight. I don't have to give you anything for food or drinks. Just for tonight."

Seeing Prama's worried, sweaty face, the boy thought for a moment and then said, "Okay, stay, but don't touch anything in this house. We don't let strangers touch anything in our house. There's a fear that it might become impure." Prama blinked once more at the dirty state of the house and seemed surprised by the boy's words. It would be impure anyway. Anyway, it would be wise to accept the boy's condition without thinking about all this. So Prama agreed. The boy went outside and stood in front of the cannibals.

Prama was watching all this from a distance. The boy said to the cannibals, "This girl is my guest." Having said this, the cannibals bowed their heads and left. Prama was quite surprised and at the same time she also thought that the boy was the king of these cannibals!  Did Prama come to save his life and put him in danger?

In the midst of Prama's thoughts, the boy went to Prama and said,

"They're gone. You can stay in peace now."

Prama lowered her eyes in fear. She said yes in a soft voice. The boy turned back to return. He walked up to Prama and sat down on the ground then patted Prama's feet and said,

"So much has passed."

Prama said,

"It won't do anything. It will heal,"

Ignoring Prama's words, he touched the blood on his hand and wiped the blood off his feet. Then he stood up and smiled a little mysteriously and said,

"I'm bringing clothes to tie them up."

Prama stared at him with a smile. The boy went into the inner room. He looked at her with his blood-stained hands and looked at her with a greedy look. As if someone had awakened that long-standing habit.....

...The night has deepened. The sound of insects chirping can be heard from all around the forest. Outside, a cool breeze is blowing, making a rhythm in the leaves. Prama's eyes are sleepless. She is only patting her forehead.

Why did she come to this forest all alone? Even though her parents repeatedly told her not to come, she still came to beg her friends. Now she understands the fun. One should not disrespect the teacher. Prama is lying quietly. But her ears are pricked up. Any danger can come at any time. So it is wise to be careful.

Prama is thinking about all this. At that moment, someone is pulling on Prama's body and Prama is scared. The whole room is dark, only a small oil-burning lamp is burning on the table. Prama is repeatedly pulling the lamp, raising it up and then lowering it down. Prama sits up. A cold current of fear runs down Prama's spine.

As soon as she pulled the rope, a hideous face appeared before Prama's eyes. An ugly creature whose entire body had been stripped of its skin. Blood was dripping from its bright red body. A few tufts of hair on its head, like the tiki of a Brahmin. As soon as Prama's eyes fell on the creature, the creature smiled and bared its teeth. Prama screamed in fear.

Prama's constant screams brought the boy of this house running. That hurricane in his hand.

The boy came and saw Prama hugging Kathan to her chest and shaking. The boy came to Prama and said,

"What happened to you? Why are you screaming?"

Prama said trembling in fear,

"That hideous creature is sitting there. It was pulling my Kathan."

The boy searched around at Prama's words. But no one was there.

He consoled Prama and left. Prama was surprised. Prama had just seen someone. Then why did the boy disappear like this as soon as he arrived?

Thousands of such questions were in Prama's mind. Her two sleepless eyes could not sleep. Prama's forehead creased in thought.

.

"Don't you know that the girl is my guest, why did you go to scare me?" The boy said, holding the hideous creature's paw and chewing it with his teeth. The creature was struggling to escape. The boy let go of the creature's neck and said, "If I ever see you do such an indecency again, you will have to pay for it!" The creature accepted everything in fear. He also said that he would never make such a mistake again. The morning sun entered the small cottage window through the green leaves of the forest and hit Prama's face. Prama sat up as soon as the sweet light of the morning sun hit her face. Breaking the silence, he asked for tea as usual. Hearing Prama's screams, the boy came to Prama. He got angry and said, "You only wanted shelter for one night, you promised not to ask for anything more." Prama remembered now.  All. They disobeyed their parents and came to this forest and then were chased by cannibals and took shelter in this hut.

Prama felt ashamed and said,

"Sorry, I didn't mean it."

The boy said,

"Well, you can come now."

Prama got up without saying anything. What a boy, he doesn't have the slightest bit of politeness. He is driving away a guest on an empty stomach.

As soon as Prama was ready to return, the boy called Prama and made her stand. He went to the inner room and returned after a minute or two and handed Prama something hot wrapped in a leaf and said,

"Eat this."

Prama said,

"What's in it?"

The boy said,

"There's a fried fish."

The boy poured water into an earthenware pot and left it with Prama. Prama was a little surprised, but still, driven by hunger, he ate it in a hurry. Who knows what kind of fish it was, but it was delicious.

Prama pushed the gate of this small wooden hut and stepped outside. Everything was sparkling in the daylight. She was walking through the forest with cautious eyes. An unknown fear in her mind was that she might fall into the clutches of some cannibal again.

Prama had already crossed the road. She could not imagine how she would cross this vast forest alone. Still, she started walking, remembering the name of God.

Prama was walking quickly. She had to cross this terrible forest as soon as possible before the daylight went out.

Prama was walking in her mind. Suddenly, the forest was covered in darkness. The sky was covered in black clouds. It felt like a terrible storm and heavy rain was falling.

If it was so dark during the day, how terrible it would be!

Prama was scared, the daylight was shining a little while ago. What had happened in the meantime? Such clouds turned black and darkness approached.

What will Prama do now? Where will she go? What danger has she got into?

Prama started walking in one direction, remembering the name of God. Which is on her forehead.

Prama is walking quickly. Dry leaves are flying with the gusty wind. The sound of the wind is making a commotion.

Prama heard the sound of a bell from inside the forest. Like the sound of a temple bell. Prama saw a ray of hope.

Following the sound of the bell, she arrived at a place. A small temple, no one there, only an old priest holding a Mangaldwip in his hand, performing puja. The bells are ringing continuously in the wind. Prama ran and stood next to the priest. Lightning is flashing in the sky, the priest's face is visible in that light.

......

..

..Prama is walking quickly. What is on her forehead.

Prama is walking quickly. Dry leaves are flying with the wind. The sound of the wind is noisy.

Prama heard the sound of a bell from inside the forest. It was like the sound of a temple bell. Prama saw a ray of hope.

Following the sound of the bell, she arrived at a place. A small temple, no people, only an

old priest holding a Mangaldwip in his hand and performing puja. The bells are ringing continuously in the wind. Prama ran and stood next to the priest. Lightning is flashing in the sky, the priest's face is visible in that light. She did not understand anything about the girl who came and stood next to her. Prama said,

"Thakur Masai, will you listen to me?"

The old priest did not seem to hear this. Prama called again.

"Thakur Masai, will you help me please?  I have lost my way."

The old priest looked at Prama and smiled terribly,

"I died twenty years ago today."

Prama was frightened as soon as she heard that.

The old priest came towards Prama and said,

"Come to me, I will show you the way."

Prama's eyes were about to pop out of fear. Prama started running with a scream. The priest started laughing loudly and the temple bells were ringing continuously in the gust of wind.

Prama did not know how far she had come running. She had run a lot. She was sitting under a big tree and was panting. Blood was dripping from her feet.

It was as dark as night all around. It was morning a little while ago and now it is a strange forest at night. Is this really a jungle or is it all illusion?

Prama was thinking about this, she was crying a lot. How was she going to get out of here?

Prama was thinking about this when she felt someone come and sit next to her. She turned around.  Just as she was about to scream and run, that animal-like man put his mouth on Prama's bleeding leg. He sucked the blood. Prama was punching the man's body as hard as he wanted, but it was to no avail.

He sucked the blood and released Prama. The man's teeth marks were on Prama's leg.

Prama was shaking, Prama's body was limp due to the bleeding. Prama fell asleep.

.

.

Prama was awakened by the sound of crying. When she opened her eyes, she felt pain in her eyelids. Her head was throbbing, her body was very weak. Prama tried to get out of bed, but her body was in a lot of pain

Like she had a fever. Still, she managed to stand up, shaking her body. Then she followed the sound of crying and started moving slowly. The sound of crying was coming from an old room of that wooden house. A few women dressed in black were crying with a dead man in front of them.

Prama was scared when she saw all this. Who are these people here at this time of night in this deep forest! Prama entered the room one step at a time. She went next to the women and called one of them softly,

"Listen!"

The women looked back. Prama said,

"Who are you?  How did you get here? Who else died?"

A woman said in a hoarse voice,

"Why are you here? Go away, go away quickly!"

Prama was quite surprised, and asked again,

"I'll go? But why I'll go?

Another woman said in a slightly more angry voice,

"I told you to go, so go, or you will die like this!"

Say this and she took the hand of the corpse in front of her in her mouth and started chewing the flesh. Black blood was dripping from the corpse's hand.

Prama ran away in fear after seeing this scene.

She came to the room and lay down quietly. She hugged Kathan, who was trembling with fear. At that moment, a cold hand touched Prama's shoulder. Prama fell away. The boy from the house said,

"Hey, I'm here. You are scared, that's why I came to you."

Prama looked at the boy and calmed down a little. The boy said,

"My name is Kavya. You don't know my name, if you ever need me, how will you call me? That's why I told you my name."

Prama frowned and said,

"You mean I will call you? I am leaving tomorrow."

The boy laughed.

Prama was surprised and said,

"Kavya!  Why are you laughing?"

Kabya stopped laughing and said,

"You seem to live in a fool's paradise, how will you leave from here? Do you know the way?"

Prama thought for a moment and said,

"I don't understand that much. I only know that I will leave from here tomorrow. There is a temple ahead. Many people will surely come to worship there. I will find out the way out from them."

Hearing this, Kabya started laughing loudly again. Prama was looking at her in surprise. Kabya stopped laughing and looked at Prama. Then she lowered her voice and said,

"Miss Prama, there is no temple here. It's all an illusion."

Prama asked as if she was joking,

"It's all an illusion!"

Kabya said,

"Yes, it's all an illusion. This is a forest of illusion, once one enters here, he can never come out. Even if he comes out, he will either become a blood-sucking vampire or a man-eating cannibal."

Prama was quite scared.

Prama said,

"What are you talking about? What are you doing? I can't understand anything. I want to get out of here."

Saying this, Prama got off the bed. She walked towards the door to leave. Kavya pulled Prama's hand from behind and made her stand up,

"You can't go. You have to stay here! That too with me for the rest of your life."

Prama waved her hand and said,

"It's impossible for me to stay here for a moment."

Prama was walking away quickly. Kavya's eyes were burning with anger. She kept her fists clenched tightly.

.

Prama was walking quickly. The dark night sky was not good either. It could rain at any time. Lightning was flashing.

Prama was sweating profusely, wiping the sweat from her forehead with the corner of her veil and starting to walk again. Prama was walking looking down. Suddenly, she bumped into something in front of her and stopped. Prama looked ahead and saw someone standing blocking the path. Prama couldn't make out who it could be in the darkness. Prama asked, "Who are you? Why are you standing in the way?" The man turned to look at Prama. Seeing the face lit up by the lightning, Prama's eyes filled with tears. She widened her eyes and said, "Kabya, are you?"  Without giving Prama a chance to say anything else, Kavya grabbed Prama and brought her face to her neck. Two teeth protruded from Kavya's mouth. She would press them on Prama's neck right now. Prama tried to escape from Kavya's hands in vain. Kavya could not cope with the strength of her body. Kavya was about to bite Prama's neck when suddenly she stopped as soon as her eyes fell on Prama's neck. There was a small love ( ) mark on her neck. A blue love mark. Kavya's long, pointed teeth disappeared. Prama swallowed in fear.

Kavya kissed Prama's neck and stood back.

Prama was very surprised by Kavya's action. Before Prama could ask anything, Kavya grabbed Prama and dragged her deep into the jungle.

Tarashankar Biswas is sitting at the police station. His face is serious, the signs of age are clearly visible on his face. His forehead is creased with worry. There is little hair on his head, if not none, only half of the hair on his neck is dry. Police officer Sharif Khan said,

"When did your daughter leave?"

Tarashankar Biswas said,

"My daughter, Prama Biswas, is a journalist. I received information from a secret source that some criminals were robbing a forest north of Bandarban for their own safety. Prama went to that forest two days ago to record the misdeeds of those criminals on video. I repeatedly warned her not to go alone. But the girl did not listen. After reaching there, she called me for the last time at 7 pm. Then her mobile was switched off at 8:45 pm. She has not turned on her mobile till now."

Sharif Khan listened to everything and said,

"So you mean Miss Proma Biswas is in some kind of danger?"

Tarashankar Biswas shook his head. Sharif Khan said,

"Please be patient. We will try our best to find your daughter in every way."

Tarashankar Biswas thanked him and left the police station. Thousands of questions filled his mind as to where the girl had gone. According to what Tarashankar Babu knew, if she fell into the clutches of criminals, her life would be ruined.

Prama is lying on a couch in a room with a dazzling decoration. Prama was surprised, got up from the couch and stood up. When she came out of the room, she saw that it was a royal palace. Everything inside the palace was old-fashioned. There was no touch of nobility in everything, there was no modernity anywhere. It was exactly like the royal palaces of ancient times. As Prama was crossing the balcony and descending the stairs, a harsh voice stopped Prama's footsteps. Prama turned around and saw a man, probably a servant. He was wearing a uniform like that, with a spear in his hand.

The man said,

"You can't go anywhere, Shehzadi."

Prama was surprised, why was this man calling Prama Shehzadi!  Prama said,

"You mean Princess? Why are you calling me Princess? And you mean I can't leave here? I'm leaving right now. They've got the nose of a mugger."

Prama went down the stairs, hissing in anger. She screamed as she tried to open the main gate and backed away. Five terrifying snakes were standing at the main gate, hooded.

Prama came running. The servant said,

"Malkaye Alam's order. You cannot go. All kinds of arrangements have been made for her."

Prama was astonished. Have they found Prama like a zoo animal! They are trying to keep her locked up like anyone else. Prama is sitting on the couch thinking about all this. And Kavya is looking for the boy. Why did he bring her here. And who are they? What world am I in!

Prama cannot understand anything. Now she cannot understand day or night. How can she understand when she is not allowed to go outside.

.

After a long time, a maid came to look for Prama and said,

"Princess, our queen Malkaye Alam has called you."

Prama said,

"Have you all started with princesses? I am not a princess!  I am Proma, crime reporter Proma Biswas."

The maid said in a calm voice,

"I don't know anything. I just know that Malkaye Alam has called you and I am always ready to fulfill my duty."

Without giving Proma a chance to say anything else, she took her hand and dragged her to the royal court. A woman was sitting in the queen's seat in the r
