I believe they are different and shouldn't be just judged by seeing the art or the artist together. Who knows what's going in the artists mind and is he pouring his thoughts while making the art ? or he is pouring what his heart likes?.....I mean it's 2026 and your competition may already be over but I just like to express my views....hope i'm able to convey my thoughts properly!!

from my pov, i would say it totally depends on the viewer pov, for a person who knows an artist personally can be able to see the art as something similar to the artist and by someone who doesn't know the artist personally can't always see the art as same as the artist as it says the artist is the very foundation of the art, you can't separate them because when you separate the art lose its meaning without an artist afterall when a point is made by someone we always see the person first and then thief pov, so I guess, i believe the art and the artist can't be separated
