First day

I'm Mary Carol, this is my 1st day of my junior year.

I was sitting in the middle bench as I don't want any attention. I was scanning everyone in the room that's when I noticed him. Sitting quietly on the last bench even though there are many benches on the front and doing something in his laptop, suddenly he glared at me I flinched and turned front, I blushed.

Someone entered the classroom, and it was the HOD, Ms. Jenna Joy. She's wearing a spec with a Chain attached to her neck. More likely her stare was like a lightning that could kill us. Then she started to speak "Who wants to be the class representative? Please stand up. I need a girl and a boy. First girls?" she said.

As I already told I don't like attention but a girl behind me screamed there's a lizard suddenly my reflex worked and i stood up. Before I even realized Ms. Jenna picked me as a representative. I said "I dont want to be a representative, Mam". she said " I dont care, you stood up so you are going to be the representative"

" But-" she snapped me before I finish. I felt a stare behind. He was smirking. Then she asked "the boys?" . However I didn't expect he raised his hands so do many boys but Ms. Jenna looked confused and said "So your choice Matthew" and left the classroom.

And I turned back, and he gave a cryptic smile. And he called my name that was the 1st time he said my name" Ms. Mary Carol" I never know that my would sound this heavenly. I froze for a second he called again. I came to my mind. Furthermore, I asked" What?". He said" Could you come over here please?" I was floating in the air, but I didn't show any emotion on my face. I asked him" why should I have to?".

He gave me a smirk and said" I want your help here as you are the representative you need to help everyone" he got a point. So I want a sat beside him. He was staring at me and smiling like a charming prince admiring his princess. I asked him" What you want me to help with?". He said" you have to take the attendance" I told him" why are you telling me what to do? "

He smirks and grab my hands and dragged me in front of the class, my heart just skip a beat and asked everyone to tell there name, A boy asked" why we have to tell you?" . He smiled again and said" she is your class representative, so she has to know it". Everyone rolled their eyes and started to say their names. Again the same boy, Michael asked him" So are you going to tell your name or not? ".

He smiled and takes a chalk and go near the black board and wrote his name" Matthew Sinclair" and near that he wrote professor. Everyone was shock to see that he is our classroom professor. I'm still standing in front and watching him like a mysterious box.
