He likes u..??

Shreyansh took a deep breath, steadying himself as all eyes in the living room bore into him.

“Absolutely, Dad,” he began, his voice calm but firm. “She’s a friend of mine. Today, there was a little tension at her office, and she was feeling unwell. But she had to go to work anyway… and by chance, I met her.”

He paused, glancing at the unconscious girl gently lying on the sofa. “Her condition suddenly worsened, and she fainted. I thought it wouldn’t be right to leave her alone in this state. I couldn’t take her to a doctor at this hour… it was too late. So… I brought her here. I’ll have her checked by our family doctor first thing tomorrow.”

“That’s it, nothing more,” he added firmly, meeting his father’s gaze.

The room was silent for a heartbeat. And then, from the doorway, his grandmother stepped in. She had been quietly listening the entire time, her eyes soft yet knowing.

“Shreyansh beta… you did exactly the right thing,” she said, her voice warm, reassuring.

His mother and father exchanged a look, their expressions slowly softening. Relief replaced the initial shock.

“Yes… beta, you made the right decision,” his mother agreed, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder.

Shreyansh exhaled quietly, feeling a weight lift off his chest. For a moment, it seemed like the tension had dissolved.

But behind them, Aarav and Armaan were still watching him — their eyes sharp, filled with suspicion. Even without a word, their doubt was clear as day on their faces. They whispered to each other, barely suppressing their teasing grins.

Shreyansh caught a glimpse of them and let out a silent groan. Of course, these two aren’t going to let this slide that easily…

He shook his head, giving them a pointed look. Later… I’ll deal with you two later.

For now, the girl was safe, and that was all that mattered. And though the house was filled with questions, tension, and a hint of doubt, Shreyansh felt a quiet sense of victory — a small but meaningful win in the chaos of the night.

Shreyansh carefully lifted Shreya into his arms, her small frame almost weightless against him. Every step felt heavier than usual as he carried her toward his room, his mind racing with a thousand thoughts. Once inside, he gently laid her on the bed, covering her with a soft blanket. Her faint breaths were steady, but fragile, and he watched her for a moment, his heart refusing to relax.

Just then, the door creaked open, and Aarav and Armaan stepped inside, their expressions a mix of curiosity and mischief.

Aarav spoke first, leaning against the doorframe casually. “By the way, bhai… you told everyone outside the house your story, right? But now… we want the truth.”

Armaan’s grin widened. “Yeah, bhai, come on. What are you hiding from us? You can trap everyone else in your words, but you can’t fool us. So spill it already.”

Shreyansh froze for a moment, the weight of their teasing eyes making his heart skip a beat. He knew they weren’t just curious — they were sharp, observant, and would notice the smallest slip.

He exhaled slowly, his jaw tightening. “You two… always find a way to make everything ten times more complicated,” he muttered under his breath.

Aarav leaned closer, smirking. “We’re just saying, bhai… don’t leave us in the dark. We can handle it. Just tell us properly.”

Armaan nudged him playfully. “Yeah, bhai… we’ll keep our mouths shut if you explain. No drama, no teasing… just tell us what’s going on.”

Shreyansh’s jaw tightened as he looked at Aarav and Armaan, his eyes flashing with controlled frustration.

“You two are thinking too much for no reason,” he said firmly, his voice edged with tension. “I’ve already told the truth. Stop with your useless doubts. And listen carefully — if either of you says one more word of nonsense, I won’t be responsible for what happens next.”

Aarav and Armaan froze, the teasing sparkle in their eyes dimming slightly. They hadn’t expected Shreyansh to speak so seriously.

Meanwhile, on the bed, Shreya’s fingers twitched, her eyelids fluttering. Slowly, she began to stir, her consciousness returning little by little.

Shreyansh’s eyes softened as he looked at her, relief mixing with the lingering tension. Finally… she’s waking up, he thought.

But he didn’t relax completely — not yet. His brothers were still close by, their curious eyes fixed on the girl. Every small movement she made kept him on edge. I can’t let her say anything inappropriate in front of them… not yet, he reminded himself, his protective instincts on high alert.

Aarav and Armaan, unable to hide their excitement, leaned closer, but even they sensed the seriousness in Shreyansh’s tone. The room was thick with a mixture of tension, curiosity, and cautious relief, as all three of them silently watched Shreya slowly come back to herself.

Shreya’s eyelids fluttered open, and slowly, she looked around, her vision still hazy. Confusion clouded her face as she tried to make sense of her surroundings. She pushed herself up into a sitting position, her gaze finally landing on Shreyansh.

“Are… are you okay?” he asked softly, leaning slightly forward, worry etched on his face.

Shreya blinked, still trying to gather her thoughts. “H-how… how am I here? And… where am I?” she asked, her voice small and uncertain.

Shreyansh exhaled gently. “Relax… you fainted, so I brought you to my home,” he explained.

Shreya’s eyes widened, shock spreading across her face. “You… you brought me to your home?”

Aarav and Armaan exchanged a quick glance, curiosity and mischief sparking in their eyes.

Shreyansh continued, his tone calm but firm. “I couldn’t leave you alone in that condition… so I brought you here.”

Aarav grinned, teasingly leaning in. “Don’t worry, bhabhi… it’s a good thing you’re here. At least now you know what your future in-laws are like, right?”

Armaan chuckled quietly, smiling at his brother’s playful words.

Shreyansh shot them both a sharp, exasperated look.

Shreya felt a wave of awkwardness wash over her as she tried to process everything. Hesitant, she looked at Shreyansh. “Y-you… you even told your brothers… that?” she murmured, confused and embarrassed.

Shreyansh blinked, unsure what she meant.

Armaan and Aarav both leaned forward, curiosity shining in their eyes. “Which part?” they asked in unison, their voices full of playful intrigue.

Shreya shifted uncomfortably, hesitating for a moment. But finally, she whispered, “That… you like me.”

Shreyansh froze, his eyes widening in shock — she had just said it in front of his brothers!

Armaan and Aarav’s eyes lit up, their grins spreading from ear to ear. “He likes you… he likes you, bhabhi!” they said excitedly, exchanging glances. “She just told us herself!”

Shreya’s face flushed crimson, a mixture of embarrassment and shock. “Y-you… didn’t know?” she asked nervously, her voice barely above a whisper.

Armaan shook his head. “Nope, we just found out… like, right now.”

Aarav added, smirking, “Yeah… private stuff isn’t really our thing, but sometimes… we just know what’s in our brother’s heart.”

Shreya’s cheeks burned hotter, feeling intensely awkward as the brothers’ teasing smiles lingered on her.

Shreyansh, meanwhile, leaned back slightly, pinching the bridge of his nose. Shit… why is everything getting so complicated? he thought, his mind racing. He cast a sharp glance at Armaan and Aarav, irritation flickering in his eyes. Half the trouble in my life tonight is because of these two… what am I going to do now? This day has been worse than I could ever imagine.
