Daichi: (Eyes widening) My power... he's fighting it!

Hana: (Eyes narrowed) He's not fighting it; he's amplifying it. He's using the existing stress fractures like a tuning fork.

(The camera focuses momentarily on the swirling debris, then on a textbook-style inset.)

Ren: (His eyes still blazing from the residual fire) Thanks, Ice Boy!

Yuki: (Ignoring the name, focused on the Figure) Your power is not elemental. It is parasitic.

Aoi: (Realizing) The Figure isn't creating the chaos, they're directing it! They’re leeching the power we can't control!

(The Figure scowls, dropping their arm. The debris vortex collapses into a heap of dust.)

Kai: (A flash of recognition in his eyes) Wait... how do you know our names?

Ren: Argh!

(Kai instantly reacts, creating a spiraling shield of wind around Ren. The blast is deflected skyward, leaving a scorching black line in the air.)

Kai: (Gasping, his muscles straining from the effort) He’s too fast! We can’t fight him!

Hana: (Focusing, her hands performing complex, rapid motions) We don’t have to fight him. We have to neutralize the energy flow! Water is a solvent for energy!

(Hana unleashes a torrent of water that doesn't try to extinguish Ren's residual fire but rather swirls around Zephyr, forming a high-pressure helix.)

Aoi: (Understanding) Condense! Bring the temperature and pressure down!

(Zephyr screams as the intense, swirling water begins to douse his green glow and dampen the chaotic energies he was siphoning.)

Zephyr: (Voice weakening) No! You can’t stop the flow!

Daichi: (Gritting his teeth, his arms shaking as he forces the crumbling ground to rise and encircle Zephyr like iron bands) Containment!

(The crystalline earth imprisons Zephyr, stopping the water helix. The chaos immediately subsides. The city is still broken, but the destruction has halted.)

Zephyr: (Muffled, but still defiant) This... this is only a delay. You can't separate your power from the city’s heart forever! The Crystals yearn for my touch!

(A final, blinding flash of emerald energy erupts from the crystalline earth, and Zephyr vanishes, leaving only a faint trace of sickly-sweet ozone in the air.)

Ren: (Staring at the spot where Zephyr stood, his fire completely gone) He... he just disappeared.

Aoi: (Walking to the empty space, her expression grave) He didn't disappear. He used the city's aetheric grid—the energy network that links the Crystals—to escape.

Kai: (Looking at his friends, then out at the damaged but quiet city) He knows our names. He knows our powers. And he seems to know how Aethoria works better than we do.

Yuki: (The ice melting from his shield, his eyes meeting Kai’s) He also called you a friend, Kai.

(The truth of Yuki’s cold observation hangs in the air. The five look at each other, the weight of their responsibility—and a new, shared danger—settling upon them.)

Kai: (Taking a deep breath, the wind calming around him) Then we have to learn faster than he can teach us to break things. We need to find out what the 'Five Crystals' are... and why we're the ones connected to them.
