Reborn as a Villianess to Get Myself Killed.
Noah stared at the screen as she uploaded the final chapter of her tragic novel. Her fingers traced the keyboard nervously as she waited for the final part to fully upload.
She had poured her heart into each and every words... carefully crafting each scenes, rewriting and rereading every chapter. But now,as she sat infront of the laptop in her small, messy yet cozy apartment she couldn't shake the nagging feeling that something -something important- is missing.
Was it really the ending? The characters? Did they had anything to say to eachother? Were they really enemies...?
She didn't know...But the doubt almost devoured her brain like an hungry Monster.
As hours passed and the screen lit up with notifications, comments were flooding in under the final chapter. Her pulse quickened as she clicked to read them, but her excitement quickly faded as she scrolled through the harsh reviews.
"Too predictable, honestly I was rooting for the characters but they turned out to be....so flat"
"What happened to the character development??"
"I loved the beginning, but the story just fell It is clear that author didn't know how to end it"
"I can't believe I stick with this just for such a disappointing ending?"
Noah's heart sank...Reading through the comments, she confirmed her doubt which she had been trying to ignore. The negetive feedbacks hit her like a punch to the gut. Silent tears formed in her eyes as she scrolled through the comments. Before her vision got fully blur by the tears a comment caught her attention.
"Rewrite the story...It's not the real ending"
She stared at the comment for a good five minutes.
Who is this person? Who do they think they are, Telling me to rewrite my story? What do they mean by 'not the real ending'...?
The comment seemed to dominate her thoughts.
How do they know that it's not the real ending? It's solely my creation,my imagination,it's not like I copied it from somewhere.
Noah buried her face in her palms with a deep long shuddering sigh. She was feeling down, overwhelmed with everything which was happening around her. Suddenly her laptop chimed breaking the deadly silence. She glanced at the screen, a spike of anxiety aroused as the comments began to flood again. But this time they were different more urgent ,more demanding.
"Rewrite the story!"
Frustration bubbled inside her as she read the words over and over. The demand was now eating up her head, too stubborn to leave her in peace.
In a rush she jolted up, shut down her laptop and grabbed her overcoat before stepping outside. She needed some space,an escape. She walked through the busy street wrapping her arms around her,a subconscious attempt to shield her insecurities from the outside world. She looked at the sky,the sun had almost hidden its body beneath the horizon, peeking at the busy world that was slowly withdrawing for the night. The city was bathed in lights, almost an ethereal sight.Everyone was rushing home, eager to spend the night with their loved ones. She had none...no one to wait for her at home, no she had no place she could call home. She took long breathe releasing it as she moved forward, while sliding her hands inside the pockets.
As she walked something had caught her attention-something amusing-which made her heart squeeze in joy and sadness. A little girl was giggling while clinging on to her father's neck, clutching a colourful candy in her tiny hand while her father held her carefully in his arms with a loving smile on his face.
Noah wondered how it feels to be in someone's arms in a warm embrace as if they were holding her like a precious thing. She couldn't even bring herself to imagine that... because no one would want to hug her. In this life she came alone, lived alone, and would die alone. She wanted to escape from reality by writing giving her life a happy ending through the story but it was a failure. She had no faith in love and pledged not to believe in it. Despite her craving for someone's love and care she refused to admit it.
May be that's why her characters from her novel barely had any character development. May be that's why they lacked something important. Reflecting herself.
Noah stood at the zebra crossing pondering about her novel and the negative feedbacks she had just recieved.
What if they were right?? What if my story was hollow didn't make any sense. What if I failed them??
Turning her head to the side when she heared a loud horn, she barely registered a truck speeding towards her. She screamed when the truck hit her like a giant rock. Her body flipped on the road with a loud thud. A sharp pain throbbed in her head. Her vission got blurred with a shade of red. Her body was numb and cold. As the pain shot through her body the sounds of the world faded into a distant echo.
Her vision darkened completely and the sound of people and ambulance approaching reached on her ears before she slipped into complete unconsciousness.

It took a moment to adjust her eyes to the light. She blinked trying to remember where she was. Then it hit her-the accident her heart skipped a beat she quickly looked around, expecting to see a hospital.
I'm not in a hospital??
Her heart pounded and sweat beads formed on her forehead as fear crept in. She jolted up checking her body she was surprised when she found nothing not even a small scratch.A sigh of relief escaped her lips, but it was short lived. She looked at her body again.
What kind of dress am I wearing?? Am I cosplaying in my sleep now?? This thing is too heavy!! I don't remember putting on something like this.
The dress she was wearing look like she was straight out from an Indian historical movie. It was heavy but pretty.
Feeling itchy she squirmed under the material. She lied back while sighing. Kicking off the blanket off from her body as to let the cool air now cover her.
Am I stuck inside a dream?? Or...did I really time travel?? why am I even considering impossible things?? This is not a novel. But how did I even end up here? Wasn't I hit by a truck??
No matter how much she had tried to make senese of everything,it all fell apart. She looked around, Sunrays outshining the burning candles lit up on the golden wall...sun peeking at her from the sky. Birds chirping as if they were chatting about the day ahead.
She almost smiled until she slipped into her thoughts again.
But what if.. what if I'm in a world that's unknown to me?? What if I really time travelled??
She shook her head shrugging the thoughts away sighing for the nth time since she had woke up.She only wanted to go back to her apartment.
"Somebody there?? Who is behind this?? Is this kind of a joke or prank??"
She yelled Hoping for an answer but the only answer she got was silence.
Is someone playing with me?? Or am I really in a strange world??
She was again lost in thoughts when a voice penetrated through the cold air almost making her startle.
"Welcome Noah, to the world of Bhumi and Anvitha"
Her heart skipped several beats upon hearing the names she had given to her characters.
"What!!"
She almost yelled in shock. Briskly looking around the room in search of the owner to the sudden voice. And when she saw what stood before her ,she freezed in her place unable to even blink.
