The Girl With Midnight Eyes

Episode 1

I walked around the school, headphones in place, next to my best friend Felix and his girlfriend Amica who were in a lively conversation about some goddamn party. Some girls were whispering excited as they checked me out. I smirked and winked at them. We continued walking till we reached the rooftop. I take off my headphones and sit on the ground.

The view from the rooftop is always the best. I notice the jocks flirting with any girl they see and the cheerleaders asking the nerds to do their homework. A nerd falls down as he trips on a foot of a jock and I try not to laugh. A petite girl, presumably his friend, helps him up. Her golden brown locks hiding her face as the nerd thanks her.

“DUDE!“

“Eh?” I look up to see my best friend Felix staring at me as if I was an alien.

“Will you come to the party tonight? It will be lit!” he exclaimed, eyes shining with excitement and mischief.

“Nah dude, don't feel like it.“ I sighed. I didn't feel like going to a party. The same people always greet me and girls throwing themselves on whoever has a tube steak. I'd rather watch the view from the rooftop.

"Ooh come on. You'll have lots of fun. And you might get laid tonight!" he smirked, his brown eyes showing the troublemaker he truly is.

"Felix leave the guy alone... If he doesn't want to come let him be. Geez." Amica said while giving me a sympathetic look. I smiled her a small smile and silently thanked her.

"Are you seriously flirting with my girl right now!? In front of me?!" Felix screamed playfully. We continued our playful fight until it was time for class.

We walked downstairs to the hallways. I laugh at Amica scolding Felix for a reason unknown to me. I smirk as I watch a girl blush red while I walked. I am gonna be honest, I love attention.

Suddenly, I feel a small figure crush against my chest. The impact makes the person fall with their butt on the floor. I look down and meet two big blue doe eyes staring right back at me.

Everything stopped. Staring at these beautiful blue eyes, I see familiar golden brown locks framing the soft oval face that held her mesmerising eyes. Her face shows a fear as she realises who I am.

She quickly gets up, says a faint sorry and make a run for it. I feel a hand on my shoulder as I snap back to reality. I look at my friend Felix who seems confused.

"Dude? You okay?" I nod when I hear whispers. I know those whispers.

"Who was she?"

"An ex maybe?"

"Did you see how shocked he was?"

"Totally an ex"

"And the fear in her eyes?"

"She was hot"

"Hmp! She's probably a *****"

"No! She's a new student"

"So? A new *****!"

*****... That word made me mad for some reason. How dare they call her that. I feel intense anger. I glare at them hard.

"Move it now!" I hear Felix yell at them.
