Chapter - 5 Ju Liang's eternal confusion

Who was this guy? What was he doing here? And what business did this absolute fool have fixing HIS roof!

Ju Liang considering stomping over and giving that man a piece of his mind, I mean come on! Aren't demon kings meant to do...demon king-y stuff? Or something..ugh whatever.

Ju Liang turned to the little girl and said, "how long has he been here?" the little girl thought for a minute before responding, "since you fell asleep " she shrugged.

Ju Liang felt something cold wash over him, since he fell asleep?!? What kind of pervert was this demon king?? Ju Liang turned his head to glare at the man chopping wood over his shoulder but found that he wasn't there.

He hastily looked around, until he caught something in the corner of his eye. Ju Liang snapped his head to the bamboo hut and found the absolute idiot standing on top of the roof, fixing it!!

Ju Liang felt exasperated. He needed tea and perhaps a bath...ugh..can this get any worse.. Probably not but still.

Ju Liang heard a noise and turned to look up, he saw Mo Tianhun, standing there on top of his roof with an axe in one hand.

How stupid is this guy?! Does he know he could fall off the edge?! Ju Liang took a deep breath, gathering all his annoyance before yelling up at him, "GET DOWN FROM THERE!! YOU'LL RIP ANOTHER HOLE IN MY ROOF!!"

Mo Tianhun didn't seem affected and hopped down, landing on the dirt with a soft crunch. Ju Liang left out a quiet grumble, crossing his arms over his chest. his head snapped up again when he heard Mo Tianhun begin to speak. The other man's voice was deep and calm, quite soothing actually.

"Why? I wasn't done fixing the hole." Mo Tianhun said, Ju Liang sputtered, "WELL- pft- YOU WERE ON THE EDGE YOU COULD HAVE FALLEN OR BROKEN IT MORE!! THAT WOOD IS BRITTLE YOU KNOW?!" he yelled, stomping closer to the black haired man.

Mo Tianhun didn't seem bothered and stood there as Ju Liang got closer. He opened his mouth and said, "well, then I can rebuild the entire roof." Ju Liang's eye twitched, how much free time does this guy have?!?

Ju Liang just glared at him, quietly seething. But an idea suddenly popped in his head, if Mo Tianhun was fine with fixing the entire roof..maybe he could push his luck for other things and get a bunch of 'demon king repairs' , Ju Liang took a step back before raising his head and listing everything, "well, if you must, I also need a new clothes line, a fixed fence since that woods been rotting longer then I've been alive, a new door and porch, oh and while you're at it, go out into the village markers and buy me some vegetables will you?" Ju Liang nodded, proud of himself that he might have just driven this idiot away.

To his stupid, Mo Tianhun just nodded. "Anything for you."

Oh gosh,, what the hell?! Someone should pinch his arm! Did Ju Liang die and wake up in some cheesy romance…novel…god this guy was...Ju Liang didn't even have any words left to describe it.

Ju Liang huffed, keeping up his arrogant attitude, hoping it would drive the guy away, "fine then, well I'm going to take the children to their favorite creek then take them to the old man so I can get another day off, and everything better be all fixed when I'm back!" Ju Liang said, turning and going inside his bamboo hut.

After a few minutes he had gotten all the children out and led them away from the bamboo hut. Ju Liang needed to find out Mo Tianhun's intentions.. Unless they're related to what that teasing old man said... infatuated? With him? Even if , the guys technically have been stalking him for the past few days! now he wants to play repair guy to his bamboo hut! For what? if this is some weird form of demonic courtship he doesn't want it! I mean...those arm muscles when he was chopping wood— NO!!

Ju Liang stopped himself, shaking his head lightly as he continued to lead the children down the pathway of the creek.
