when I wrote the original ending, I knew a lot of people won't be satisfied with it. But I didn't want to change it, because I genuinely wanted to show that not everything can be forgiven. The Ml could have had a redemption arc, but almost every story has that. I wanted mine to show that you don't need to settle. When I see Min's character, I know he, a prince, would choose death over a loss of himself. I hope, if you're rewriting this as an alternate ending and not a fanfic, you would remember Min's character and not change it
