My name is Emerald, wife of Minister Ethan, I this ismy bitter sweet life

I and my husband has been married for 4 years, but he showed an air of indifference towards me , he slept on the couch, never touched me or kissed me , rather he was cold and distant toward me , well I thought he will change and start to love me until one day.

On one faithful day , he brought Agnes home as his second wife , and that day my whole world crashed down. I felt downcast, I stared at Ethan in disbelief and anger , I felt like hating him , like killing him , I looked at Agnes in anger and hatred , but little did I know that that painful day will lead to the sweetest part of my bitter marriage .

In the night , I woke up crying and feeling bitter at myself for being a bad and unworthy wife, at that moment, Ethan walked in ,half naked, I looked at him shyly , but rather than leaving arrogantly as usual, he smirked in an evil way , and asked me if he looked good, but I said nothing ,so angrily, he yanked my head forward, forcing me to look at his naked body , I felt even more shy , because it was the first time in years, that he did such thing, unexpectedly, he leaned in for a kiss, but I shyly ducked back .

He felt offended but said nothing, as he was about wearing his clothes, I made him look at him , then slapped him hard ,asking him why he hated me so much, but he started strangling me ,I tried to fight back but he pushed on the bed , and climbed on top of me , and kissed me forcefully, I bit his lip in pain , but he smirked in an evil way again, I felt my blood running, I started wondering if it was ecstacy or pain , but I ignored it and called him a cheat and a liar , but he just said that Agnes is just his 'Baby mama' got he got pregnant by accident, then I realised that Ethan was truly a cheat, I felt betrayed by my own husband, I felt like killing him , but he glanced at me in a seductive way and left the room , I followed him and saw him enter into Agnes room , I felt even more angrier and hurt .

I spent the night all by myself .

In the morning,I saw Agnes coming out her room , but when she saw me ,she laughed in a hysterical way that made me angry , she walked up to me and mocked me for not being able to give Ethan a child, but I didn't retaliate, rather I left her there ,blood fuming in anger , during breakfast, I was silent, deep in thought about what Agnes said , in my room u wondered if that was a reason for Ethan not touch me .

As I was thinking Ethan suddenly barged into the room, looking worried .
