Rage(Episode-3)

Fifteen days had passed, and Asher could not forget about the young man. He continuously questioned himself, wondering why he was so worried. He was never meant to worry about others; his father hadn't taught him such things. He tried to interpret his feelings as a desire for revenge, thinking he was just angry that Voss had criticized him.

When he found out that Voss had been discharged from the hospital, he grew restless. He wanted to know more about him, but he couldn't ask anyone. Izrael was a man of faith and someone Asher trusted, but he was also one of his father's most loyal men. Because of this, Asher restrained himself from asking for information about Voss.

Today, he returned from Italy. He was on his way when he spotted a man smiling and talking to someone who was hidden behind a wall. Something clicked in his mind and his blood boiled. "STOP THE CAR!" he shouted in a loud voice. The frightened driver slammed the brakes, barely managing to control the car. Asher got out like an angry bull and stormed towards Voss.

When he reached him, he saw an elderly woman standing next to him. He felt a bit relieved, but then thought, "WHY?" He realized it was just that he didn't want to see the guy smiling. Asher stormed towards Voss, held his arm forcefully, and pushed him. Voss, who had been trying to buy something for Esabella, felt a jolt and was pushed backward, his breath catching. Esabella, who had been looking at handmade clay pots, turned around and found Voss gone. "Voss?" she began to look for him.

Voss's breath got stuck in his throat when he saw who was dragging him. "Si...Sir, p...please l..let me go," he stammered. Asher glared at him, and a chill ran down Voss's spine. He thought of Esabella, who was all alone and wouldn't be able to get home by herself. Gathering all his courage, Voss said, "Sir… I request you to please…." But Asher pulled him into the car, and Voss fell onto the seat.

"Sir, my grandma is all alone. She won't be able to go home. Please let me go; I have to send her home," Voss spoke after gathering his courage, though he was shivering all over. He saw Asher raise his hand and suddenly closed his eyes. "You dare not look at me?!" Asher yelled, grabbing Voss's hair. From the pain, Voss opened his teary eyes. Asher immediately let him go, thinking, "What is happening to me? I thought he didn't want to look at me."

"Sir, I beg you, please let me send her home. I myself will come to you afterward," Voss pleaded.

"GET OUT! GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW!!" Asher shouted.

Frightened, Voss jumped out of the car and ran back to the store where Esabella was waiting. When he reached her, he saw she had been looking for him. "Sorry, Grandma, I got an important call," he said.

Esabella replied, "You brat, you made me worried!"

Hearing this, Voss held Esabella in a strong embrace, which surprised her.

"Is anything wrong, my son?" she asked.

"No, Grandma. But thank you, thank you for your love," he said.

After that, they both returned home. Voss was now frightened to death. He never even dreamed of meeting that person again, so why had he come across him? He coaxed himself, thinking, "Nothing is wrong. He just wanted to frighten me and nothing else. I don't have to go anywhere."

Meanwhile, Asher went directly to the hotel where he had first met Voss. He felt a strange urge to go there. He asked Izrael to call the manager. The manager stumbled nervously into Asher's room. "Yes, Sir?"

Asher said, "You know the guy from last time, right?"

The manager replied, "Yes, sir. He was fired immediately."

Upon hearing this, Asher stood up suddenly, his eyes filled with rage. He grabbed the manager by the throat. "Who told you to fire him?!" The manager, who had been trying to score points, suddenly felt he was about to lose his life. Asher threw him down on the ground. "Bring me his details, right now!"

The manager hurried out of the room, and within five minutes, Voss's details were on the table. It was just his basic ID information, nothing more. Asher felt his blood boiling. "How can you keep an employee without any record of his background?!"

Manager: "S...Sorry, Sir. He was given this job on my uncle's reference. My uncle runs a grocery store and told me he's a good kid, so I kept him on the job with a low salary."

Asher felt he was about to lose his mind. "Why is he feeling this way? Where is that guy?"

Asher said, "You have 20 minutes to tell me where that guy is right now, or else you are dead meat." The manager hurriedly called his uncle and asked. His uncle told him that Voss was working at a bar on the XXX side of the city. Luckily, there was only one bar there.

The manager told Asher which bar Voss was working in. Upon hearing that Voss was working in a gay bar, Asher's whole body began to shake with rage; his eyes were practically spilling blood. He stood up, snatched the car keys from his driver, and left for the bar. The bar was 30 minutes away, but it took him only 12 minutes to get there. He stormed inside and saw Voss smiling and serving drinks to some boys. The nerves in Asher's mind felt like they were about to explode. He kicked a table in front of him and stormed towards Voss, who was shocked to see him.

*SLAP*

Asher then held Voss by his hair and dragged him outside of the bar.

"How dare you smile at someone!" he roared.

Voss was afraid to death; he couldn't even speak. Silent tears fell from his eyes. It seemed his sufferings would never end.
