Chapter One: Angel's Guardian

A thousand years ago on the land of Elysium, where thousands of billions of angels lived in a harmonious glory from god. One of the angels named Ravus, a fearless ranked first general of the angels' army, also known for his attractive and gorgeous face and smile, Ravus believes mercy is a way to conquer demons to change their path to the right one, and because of this, he was slained by the twin demon Lucio, the 3rd prince of demons known as the master of deceit, and Lucy, the 2nd princess of demons, known as lust.

On the other hand, on the land of Gehenna, the eldest prince named Gregor, known for his merciless and cruelty to slaughter countless armies of angels, He once admired Ravus for his graceful stead, but after he heard the news about his death, Gregor personally destroyed his brother's source of power, his core, to make him suffer as a powerless prince, and seal Lucio's twin sister Lucy. Gregor then choose to cut ties with his siblings and mourn endlessly.

Thousands of years have passed, Ravus has given a chance to be reincarnated as a young doctor and a merchant, traveling from town to town.

"Hey, are you alright?" Ravus asked as his carriage almost bumped into a man, it was Gregor, wearing a dark blue cape with a peircing gaze in his almost black, brown eyes, "I'm fine," said Gregor then immediately turns around to avoid Ravus' eye contact, with a content smile on his face, "finally, you're back," he murmured then walks away. Little did he know that Ravus followed him to make sure he's fine. "Wait..." Ravus said, "you look pale, I am a doctor, I can give you something to cure you're illness," he added.

Gregor turns immediately hearing his beloved's voice, "but I'm broke," Gregor said, "well, my service is not free, but if you're interested, come travel with me as my assistant," Ravus offered to Gregor.

Upon hearing, Gregor reluctantly agreed to his offer because he can't concentrate near Ravus.

"Hmmm, it's strange," Ravus said, "you don't have an illness at all, your vitals are fine, your physic, your blood pressure, and all, they're all fine, I don't understand, this is my first time seeing such patient like you so pale but healthy," said Ravus while checking Gregor's body. "Like I said, I'm fine, you don't have to worry about me," said Gregor as he immediately wear his clothes after being checked by Ravus, Gregor can't hide the fact that he's now finally so close to his admired angel even tho it's only a one sided feelings, but seeing Ravus' smile is enough for him.

Days, weeks, turns to months and years, they travelled together and got closer.

"Isn't it strange?", ask Ravus.

"What!?," -Gregor

"Ever since I travelled with you, no demon has ever appeared before me," -Ravus

"Maybe you're just lucky," Gregor said, thinking about the demon himself gotten so close with Ravus, his heart clenched into sadness thinking Ravus may found out that he's a demon. Ravus looks at Gregor's face with frowning brows, "hmm, you look suspicious," -said Ravus that made Gregor act stiff and stunned, "what if Ravus knows I'm a demon," words linger in Gregor's mind.

"You're my guardian angel right? Disguised as a broke man, haha, I knew it, I'm a lucky person after all," Ravus said happily

Gregor's mind feels at ease at his words, "just for you, I'll be your guardian," he murmured to himself. Gregor glances at Ravus' face with a sigh of relief and a content smile tugs his face.

As they arrive at the town in the east, they immediately settled and rest for several days. "I'm so tired, come with me, let's book an inn there," Ravus said as he grabs Gregor's hand leading him to a nearby inn for a rest, "I'd like to book two rooms," Ravus said to the man in the front desk. "Sorry sir, we only have one room," said the man, "Is there any other inn or hotel here?" Asked Ravus, "well, hotels and inns here are all full, so if you're not interested, I'll entertain the others...." said the man. "We'll book that room...." Gregor intervened to end their conversation, "hey, Gregor, it's only one room, only one of us can rest..." -Ravus, "I can sleep at the carriage..." Gregor protested but Ravus didn't agree. "No, you're going inside with me, and it doesn't matter if you're gonna sleep on the floor or we share the bed," said Ravus irritably dragging Gregor inside the booked room.

Upon arriving, the room was tiny, the bed could barely fit two people, "I'll sleep outside," said Gregor about to leave but stopped by Ravus. "What I said is what I mean," Ravus said aggressively to Gregor's words. Gregor was stunned by Ravus' sudden aggressiveness of words unable to say no, he immediately enters the room then grabs a pillow to sleep on the floor.

"I-it's too cold here, let's s-share the bed," said Ravus.

"Okay," Gregor agreed. Both of them lay down the shared bed with an awkward silence as they sleep.

Morning came fast, Ravus woke up in Gregor's warm hug, "did you rest well?," asked Gregor, unable to move his hand as Ravus settled his head on. Ravus immediately jump up, "i-i'm sorry Gregor, did I disturbed your sleep?" He asked, realizing he made Gregor's right arm go numb being his pillow. "It's fine," Gregor said as he chuckles at Ravus' embarrassed expression, "you seemed like having a nightmare every night!?, am I right?" Gregor asked with a concerned expression.

Ravus nods silently, "yeah, I've been dreaming about war," he said., "it's okay, I'm here with you, you shouldn't be scared anymore,"said Gregor as He reassured Ravus with a gentle touch cupping his face. As Gregor realized his gesture, he immediately withdrew his hand from Ravus' face. Ravus seems to notice something about Gregor's gesture, something that seems familiar to him but can't remember what it was exactly, he's certain that he met Gregor just a few years ago but it felt like he has known him for a lifetime.

"Gregor, can I ask you something?" -Ravus asked Gregor in a serious tone.

Gregor nods at him. "Have we met before? I mean, before we bump into each other," -Ravus asked.

"I don't know," Gregor lied as he immediately gets up and about to leave the room. "The scars on your back, the tattoo on your right chest, and that bruise marks on your hands, I've dreamed of that last night, and it's clear that you've been in that war, am I right? Can you tell me about it?" Asked Ravus, Gregor hesitates for a moment before telling him the whole story, except the truth about his demonic race. "And, I've been following you 'til the day you were reincarnated," Gregor added. "Now I understand, so that's why I feel so connected to my nightmares, then that's not a nightmare at all, it's my own past life," Ravus exclaimed, overwhelmed with joy as he thinks about being an angel from his past life. Then suddenly, there was a loud explosion at the center of the capital near the inn they stayed in. Gregor sensed the familiar aura, it was his siblings, Leonora, the eldest demon princess of Greed. Azval, the 4th and the youngest prince, the demon of fear, and Tyra, the 3rd princess of gluttony (the youngest princess).

The 3 royal demon wreck havoc in every city they walk past in finding Gregor who they treat as a traitor.

Gregor grabs Ravus' hand without hesitation to escape from his siblings wrath.

"Noo...."cried Azval as he saw Gregor escaping with Ravus, "Gregor, why did you do that?" He added as his tears of blood flows down from his eyes. Leonora immediately follows Gregor upon hearing her brother's cry. "Brother," Leonora called Gregor from above, "father wants to see you," she added. "B-Brother? How?" Ravus asked, confused about what's going on. Tyra laughed seeing Gregor with Ravus, "so that man is Ravus?" she points at Ravus who's been at Gregor's back. "What do you want?" Asked Gregor, his grip on Ravus' hand grew tighter, afraid of what's gonna happen after. "Father asked us to get you back... Dead.... Or alive....." Azval cried even louder, his bloody tears grew heavier, making him tremble in fear, "come with us now, Gregor, or I'll eat Ravus," said Tyra as her mouth waters at the sight of Ravus, sensing an angle's core, "A demon and an angel? Don't make me laugh, Gregor," said Leonora as she approached Gregor. Upon hearing that Gregor was a demon, Ravus quickly removes Gregor's hands from his wrist, a feeling of anger and disgust cursing through his mind, "R-Ravus!?" Gregor said, "I can explain everything, Ravus, j-just don't listen to them," he added. Tyra laughed at Gregor's words loudly, "so, you're feeding him with constant lies, brother?" She added as she burst out laughing. "This is the first time I heard our brother tells a lie," exclaimed Azval, "liars should be as good as dead," he declared pointing his weapon towards Gregor as his body overflows with emotion, his fears turns to anger as he charge to stab Gregor with full force, but Gregor already counters his attack, defending himself while protecting Ravus, "go somewhere and hide, I'll come find you later," he shouted at Ravus. Ravus immediately run towards the forest to escape, but Tyra who's hungry for an angel's core follows him while laughing, "this is gonna be fun..." She shouted, she dash towards Ravus and captured Ravus' neck by her bare hands, choking him to the air. Upon seeing Ravus' at the hand of Tyra, Gregor who's wounded, quickly push away Azval and fly to rescue Ravus, using his weapon and cut off Tyra's arm freeing his man. Gregor continue flying away to a safer place on top of the mountain carrying unconscious Ravus on his hands, he look up to the sky and shouted with all his might, "DAMIAANNN..."then suddenly, a white glowing man appeared from the sky.

"Calling your mortal enemy by name? How outrageous," Damian, the angel of rebirth and reincarnation exclaimed, seeing the demon of mankind and death on his front. But seeing Ravus on Gregor's hand, he quickly set aside his anger and come to get Ravus, "k-keep him safe for me," Gregor added. "Ravus may believes mercy is a way to conquer demons, but once an evil will forever be evil," Damian said and turns around to go back, "but maybe you're different," Damian added before leaving with Ravus. Damian's words hit differently to Gregor's mind, "I'll prove to you that Ravus was right," Gregor said before returning to face his siblings.

Gregor keeps fighting both Azval and Tyra despite his injuries, while Leonora is watching, waiting for a chance to reap the benefits without lifting any finger. "Go on my beloved siblings, fight 'til both of you dies, I'll just tell father that you got ambushed by the angels," she murmured to herself, she chuckles while thinking of getting her other siblings killed so that she could get the throne. Her greedy nature was the reason why their father, Astaroth, never considered her to reign his throne, but wanting his eldest son, Gregor to sit on it.

After the severe battle, Gregor successfully killed Azval and severely wounded Tyra, as he saw Leonora approaches and acts to help, Gregor quickly escape, because another battle with his sister can kill him due to his severe injuries. He made his way out of reach from his sister, li'l did he knew that after making sure that Azval is dead, Leonora stab her sister, using her weapon to pierce her heart, causing Tyra to burn to ashes, "w-why?...L-leo....nora...." final words of Tyra. Leonora grins wickedly as she finally makes her own step to the throne by eliminating her siblings one by one. "Ssshhhhhh, a dead shouldn't make any sound, sister," she said. "Gregor, after your death, the throne will be mine," she shouted as she flew back to Gehenna,

On the other hand, in the Elysium palace where Ravus was resting, "Gregor," Ravus shouted, jolting up from his deep sleep, "w-where am I," Ravus said. "You're safe here now, Ravus," said Damian as he enters the room with a new set of clothes and some medicine. "D-Damian?" Ravus said as he sees Damian's familiar face. "I'm glad you remembered me, my friend," said Damian while helping Ravus to sit. "I hope you're ready to receive god's blessings again, our army needs you," Damian said, "they would be happy to see their fearless general alive again.... Come on," he added, as he guided Ravus to the altar after getting him all dressed presentable. The ceremony goes well and Ravus, who's now back to being the general, can't forget about Gregor, the demon, their sworn enemy, the one who saved him back at the human's land, the Nirvana.

Days later, Gregor's wounds have fully healed, he then returned to Gehenna to face his siblings, Leonora the demon of Greed, and Trevor the demon of Pride.

But Gregor knew that Trevor wouldn't let his hands get filthy over some unserious matters, he then excuse himself because he doesn't want to handle any mess hir family had done. Only Leonora was left one standing against Gregor, they fought from dawn 'til dusk for several days, unable to tell who's the winner, until Trevor grew bored watching his siblings fighting each other, he then intervened and killed Leonora, the root of all the chaos, for Trevor knew that Leonora told Lucio and Lucy to kill Ravus previously, that can cause Gregor to go rampage. After Trevor ends Leonora's life, he then said to Gregor that there is an approaching war between angels and demons, "we need you to reign the throne as father's most worthy son," he said, leaving Gregor grasping for air. The thoughts of Ravus lingers through Gregor's mind as he look at the throne. "Maybe we're not meant to be," he murmured to himself.

Wars is fast approaching, as Gregor claimed and reigned the throne, meanwhile, Ravus is also preparing for the battle with his army. As they meet on the battlefield, there eyes lock into each other, the feeling of longing for each other has been replaced by deep sadness and heartaches, the once been good buddies, now facing against each other as enemies, "BRING ME THERE GENERAL'S HEAD," Gregor shouted with his deep manly voice as he commanded his demon army while standing tall at the top of his carriage. Ravus' heart clench at what he heard from Gregor, tears suddenly form a river down his cheek, seeing how serious Gregor is. His demon army charges forward fighting Ravus' army with a fierce brute force, "your man is crying, brother," teases Trevor, knowing how his brother feels, "shut up or I'll kill you first," Gregor said irritably at Trevor's teasing, but Trevor only laugh at it. He commanded his demon army to target the angel's general, Ravus, to test Gregor's feelings. "You're just letting your army getting killed," Trevor said, giving hints that he's targeting Ravus, but Ravus didn't budge, he immediately acted and charge towards the approaching enemy. Gregor got irritated to what Trevor has done, As Gregor grew bored watching demons got beaten by angels, he made his move to wipe out a large number of angels using his spear weapon, Ravus saw what Gregor had done and acted quickly to fight Gregor, his blazing sword against Gregor's black mist spear. "G-gregor..." Ravus cried out his name as he defended his life against the threat, "we can stop this war, let's go back to what we used to be," he pleaded, but Gregor didn't listen, "kill me, I can't control my self," Gregor stated, his overflowing hatred had succumb his mind as they fought tirelessly. "GREGOR...." shouted Trevor as he launch an arrow as a sneak attack to Ravus, but Gregor quickly uses his body to shield Ravus as the arrow peirce through Gregor's heart. Gregor's body immediately returns into a human form, Ravus acted quickly and called out Damian, the angel of rebirth and reincarnation.

"Damian, I'm begging you, let him live," Ravus cried in front of Damian, Trevor also approached Gregor's dying body, can't believe that he would save Ravus again even if it causes his life. "I will offer my life just for Gregor's sake, I want him to live," Ravus added, Damian hesitated for a moment before sacrificing Ravus' life to reincarnate Gregor into the human world, Ravus also gains a blessing of reincarnation for the second time and letting him live closer to Gregor. Upon hearing, Trevor then ordered his demon army to retreat, and to never step on the battlefield again, both sides agreed to the deal to never set foot on their land to avoid chaos.

Trevor, the one and only royal demon blood left in Gehenna, has no other choice but to sit on the throne and continue to rule the kingdom. The angels live again in harmony without any fear on demons. On the other hand, Gregor, who once a demon prince, and Ravus, who once a general of the angels, meet again in the land of Nirvana now called Earth a hundreds of years later, Gregor is now a successful CEO, on the top of the business world. While Ravus is now the world number one musician, "G-gregor?" said Ravus as their path have crossed again, Gregor turns around hearing his name from a familiar voice, he then smiled seeing Ravus' familiar face and walks fast to hug Ravus, "Finally, i-it's you again...Ravus," Gregor quickly extends his arms to hug Ravus as he lifted him up, filling each other's empty hearts, "p-put me down, you idiot," exclaimed Ravus as his cheeks blushed a bright red out of embarrassment, Gregor chuckles as he sees Ravus' embarrassed face. "Hey, Gregor," said Ravus nervously, "hmm, what is it?" Gregor ask. "I-I..... I have something to t-tell you....." Ravus said but his words won't come out.

Gregor sensed that something is about to happen between them, he then gently cups his face and lifts it up to meet his gaze, Ravus' deep blue eyes sparkles at the night light combined with his light brown curly hair making Gregor's mind go wild with admiration, his dark, almost black, brown eyes was mesmerized by seeing Ravus' angelic face. Gregor, out of the blue, gently landed a soft kiss on the corner of Ravus' lips, Ravus quickly jolt up, realizing their lips had touched, in a panic, "w-wait....wait...wait.... L-let me breath...."he exclaimed, embarrass to face Gregor, who is now laughing at his expression. "Can't you process a simple kiss like killing demons from your past life?" Gregor said teasing Ravus. "Demons are still demons after all," he responded irritably to Gregor, and it made Gregor laugh even more. Gregor holds Ravus' hands to make him relax then hug him warmly, "yes, I'm a demon, and I'll be a demon only to you, my Ravus," Gregor said while hugging Ravus tightly, "t-then it's a deal," Ravus said. Upon hearing Ravus' words, Gregor breaks the hug a again kisses Ravus passionately, as they melts into each other's arms.
