The Art Of Obsession

The Art Of Obsession

Episode 1: "Dreams and Memories"

Min-Young's eyes fluttered open, the bright lights of the hospital room a stark contrast to the darkness he had grown accustomed to. He winced, raising a hand to shield his eyes from the glare. The beeping of machines and the sterile smell of disinfectant brought back memories he would rather forget.

"Good morning, Min-Young," a gentle voice said, and he turned to see his mother, her face etched with worry and exhaustion.

"Hi, Mom," he whispered, his voice hoarse from the tubes that had been removed just hours before.

His mother handed him a cup of water, and he took a grateful sip. The cool liquid soothed his parched throat, and he felt a spark of energy return.

"What happened?" he asked, his voice a little stronger now.

"You had a performance-ending injury," his mother explained, her eyes clouding over. "But the doctor says you'll make a full recovery. You just need to rest."

Min-Young's mind flashed back to the audition that had changed his life. The grueling training, the endless rejections, and finally, the euphoria of being chosen for K-Star. He had worked tirelessly to prove himself, to become the best, and it had almost cost him everything.

"I'll rest, Mom," he promised, forcing a weak smile. "I just want to go home."

As he lay back against the pillows, Min-Young's thoughts turned to his music. He had always used it as an escape, a way to express the emotions he couldn't verbalize. But now, with his future uncertain, he wondered if it was all worth it.

In a small apartment in Seoul, Jae-Hyun sat at his desk, sketchbook open and pencil in hand. He was lost in his own world, creating art that poured out of his emotions. Music filled the room, K-Star's latest album playing on repeat.

Jae-Hyun's fingers moved deftly, capturing the energy and passion of the music on paper. He had always found solace in art, a way to express himself when words failed.

As the music swelled, Jae-Hyun's eyes closed, and he let the rhythm wash over him. He wasn't sure what it was about K-Star's music that spoke to him, but it was like they understood him in a way no one else did.

The song ended, and Jae-Hyun opened his eyes, his gaze falling on the clock. He sighed, realizing he'd lost track of time. He had a project due soon, but he couldn't bring himself to care. The music had transported him to a different world, one where anything was possible.

As he packed up his things, Jae-Hyun's thoughts turned to his own dreams. He wanted to be an artist, to make a living from his passion. But for now, it remained just that a dream.
