sit and continued he class, soon bell rang Melanie' went

upto sienna and asked her "hey.what do you want from me huh?"

sienna changed her expression to something like more of a

confused puppy "i should ask you that what you want from me?"

Melanie what's shocked how could sienna like that ?

Melanie was fuming with anger and said "you know what that's it."

right there Melanie tried to slap sienna but David stopped Melanie

Melanie stormed out of the classroom, her footsteps echoing loudly in the empty corridor.

The classroom suddenly felt… quiet.

Too quiet.

Sienna slowly pulled her hand back from David’s grip. For a moment, their eyes met. Her heart skipped — not from fear this time, but from something softer… warmer.

“Thank you…” she said gently, looking down at her shoes.

David scratched the back of his neck, trying to act normal.

“It’s nothing. I just… don’t like unfair things.”

Sienna gave a small smile. The kind that reaches the eyes.

“But you didn’t have to stand up for me again,” she whispered. “Now she’ll hate me even more.”

David’s expression hardened slightly.

“She already does. That’s not your fault.”

There was something protective in his voice. Something that made Sienna’s chest feel tight in a different way.

Just then....

Outside the classroom window, dark clouds began gathering. The sky turned grey, almost dramatic — like the world understood the tension building between them.

“Do you want me to walk you home?” David asked suddenly.

Sienna blinked. “W-What?”

“It might rain.”

She knew it wasn’t about the rain.

She nodded softly.

After School…

The rain started pouring halfway home.

They ran under a small bus stop shelter, both slightly out of breath. Sienna’s hair stuck to her cheeks, and David quietly handed her his hoodie.

“Wear it,” he said.

“But you’ll get cold”

“I’m fine.”

She hesitated… then wore it. It was warm. It smelled like him.
