SHADOW REBORN — CHAPTER 1 (FULL, LONG, DETAILED, CINEMATIC)

“THE MONSTER INSIDE ME”

📍 SCENE 1 — THE NIGHT OF THE BLOOD MOON

Location: Ryo’s Village, Midnight

A crimson moon hangs in the sky.

Wind howls through wooden houses.

Children cry.

Animals scream.

Torches flicker violently.

The village elder shouts:

Elder:

“Everyone inside! Lock your doors! The curse awakens tonight!”

Ryo (age 12) sits on the ground outside his burning house, trembling.

His father — a gentle man normally — is kneeling in front of him, gripping his own head, veins turning black.

Father (panting):

“Ryo… listen to me… stay back…”

Ryo crawls closer.

Ryo:

“Dad… what’s happening? Why are you—”

A SNAP echoes as the father’s body bends unnaturally.

His eyes turn pitch black.

Shadows swirl around his skin.

His voice distorts.

Father (demonic):

“RRRRYOOOOO—RUN!”

Ryo screams and falls back.

Burning houses… people running… everything becomes a blur.

📍 SCENE 2 — THE FIRST TRANSFORMATION

Ryo watches in horror as his father fully transforms:

Horn-like shadows rising from his head

Huge claws

Thick black smoke

Muscles swelling

A monstrous roar shaking the ground

Villagers (terrified):

“The Abyss curse!”

“Kill the monster!”

“Save the boy!”

Ryo’s father — now a monster — jumps onto rooftops, destroying everything.

Ryo cries helplessly.

Ryo:

“STOP! Please! Dad, it’s me!”

For a moment, the monster pauses…

looks directly into Ryo’s eyes…

A flicker of humanity appears.

Father (broken, human voice briefly):

“I’m sorry, son…”

Then — BOOM!

A blast of shadow erupts from his body knocking Ryo unconscious.

📍 SCENE 3 — RYO’S OWN CURSE IGNITES

Ryo wakes up in burning rubble.

Villagers look at him fearfully, whispering among themselves.

Villager 1:

“He survived the blast…?”

Villager 2:

“He’s the monster’s child.”

Villager 3:

“Maybe the curse is in him too…”

Ryo shakily stands.

His hands are steaming with black aura.

Ryo (horrified):

“…What… what is this?”

His heartbeat speeds up —

the shadow around him thickens —

eyes start glowing purple.

He screams.

A shockwave of shadow bursts out of him.

Villagers fall to the ground.

Ryo (sobbing, terrified):

“NO! STOP! PLEASE!”

He grabs his head and collapses.

📍 SCENE 4 — THE MYSTERIOUS GIRL OF LIGHT

A brilliant beam of light pierces the dark sky.

A girl descends — floating — wrapped in pure, white radiance.

Aria (angelic calmness):

“Shadow awakening detected.

Seal stabilization: commencing.”

She touches Ryo’s forehead.

The shadow around him instantly calms.

Ryo, half-conscious, notices her shape.

White hair… glowing eyes…

A blade of light on her back.

Ryo (weak):

“Who… are you?”

Aria:

“My name is Aria. I’m here to save you.”

Villagers hide behind houses, shocked.

Villager:

“Is she… an angel?”

Aria ignores them.

She lifts the unconscious boy gently.

Aria (soft):

“You have a long path ahead, Ryo.

Your destiny… is far darker than you know.”

📍 SCENE 5 — THREE DAYS LATER (AT THE RUINS)

Ryo wakes alone on a hill above his destroyed village.

Everything is ashes.

Birds circle overhead.

Aria stands silently behind him.

Ryo (broken voice):

“It’s all gone…

because of me…

because of us…”

Aria steps forward carefully.

Aria:

“You are not the one who destroyed your village.”

Pause.

“But you carry the same curse.”

Ryo stares at her, fists shaking.

Ryo:

“Then kill me.

Before I turn into a monster like my father.”

Aria’s expression softens.

Aria:

“I won’t kill you.”

“You will learn to control it.”

Ryo:

“…And if I can’t?”

Aria glances away — a shadow of sadness.

Aria:

“Then… my orders are to end your life.”

Ryo’s eyes widen.

A long silence.

He finally stands up.

Ryo:

“Then train me.

Help me stop this curse before it destroys more lives.”

Aria gives a faint smile.

Aria:

“Then follow me to the Shadow Academy.”

📍 SCENE 6 — KAEL’S FIRST WATCH (HIDDEN REALM)

In a dark realm made of swirling shadows,

a tall, monstrous figure watches Ryo through a floating portal.

Kael — the King of the Abyss — smirks.

Red eyes glowing.

Claws tapping the throne.

Horns casting a massive shadow behind him.

Kael:

“So the boy survived…”

leans back

“Good. His awakening begins earlier than I expected.”

He raises his hand — shadows respond like slaves.

Kael:

“Grow stronger, Ryo.

Because one day…

you will stand beside me.”

Pause.

“My son.”

The portal closes.

📍 SCENE 7 — JOURNEY TO THE ACADEMY (SUNSET)

Ryo and Aria walk through forests and mountains.

Aria remains calm, emotionless.

Ryo keeps glancing at his trembling hands.

Ryo:

“How did you stop that monster inside me?”

Aria:

“You didn’t lose yourself completely.”

“That means your will is strong.”

Ryo sighs.

Ryo:

“I’m scared of myself.”

Aria stops and turns toward him.

Aria:

“Good.

Fear keeps monsters human.”

Ryo looks at her — surprised.

📍 SCENE 8 — ARRIVAL AT THE ACADEMY OF SHADOWS

Huge black gates open.

Statues of ancient warriors line the entrance.

Students in dark uniforms train with shadow weapons.

A massive symbol glows on the main tower:

THE RAVENOUS EMBLEM.

Ryo stares in awe.

Ryo:

“This is where… I’ll learn to control it?”

Aria:

“This is where your fate will be decided.”

A deep, powerful voice echoes behind them.

Ronin:

“So… you’re the cursed boy.”

Master Ronin — the Academy’s head — approaches.

Tall.

Grey hair.

Eyes sharp like blades.

Aura terrifying yet disciplined.

Ryo swallows nervously.

Ryo:

“…Yes sir.”

Ronin circles him like inspecting a weapon.

He stops.

Ronin:

“You carry the shadow of the Abyss King.”

“You will either become humanity’s shield…”

“…or its doom.”

Ryo clenches his fists.

Ryo:

“I’ll fight. I’ll learn. I’ll never let the monster take over again.”

Ronin narrows his eyes…

then nods.

Ronin:

“Welcome to the Academy, Ryo Ashura.”
