he is delusional. he is depending on her love to keep their marriage together. she (foolishly) sacrificed everything for him. why give up violin for him? she had to have known he didnt want to marry her. you could say her delusions got them married (because he needs to be worshipped or something) and it is his delusions keeping them married. idk if I say they are perfect for each other or just plain idiots at this point.
