UPBORNE- A War to Be Strongest

UPBORNE- A War to Be Strongest

END OR A NEW START

Voices,Too many voices.

They shook the very emptiness of space.

"Saira... it is the time, Give up your pursuit and accept your death."

Another voice layered over it, then

"If you refuse, we will destroy every last chance of your upbringing ,you had consumed countless species' essences ,you almost started a war of realms, you will surrender your path today, and as apology—give up your life… or we erase every point of your existence."

Each voice felt like a hammer hitting the universe.

Around them floated warriors — gods, demons, celestial races, unknown beings older than suns demons, etc. All suspended in the endless black, radiating enough power to crush planets, yet all of them pointed their weapons at one wounded woman.

While accusation echoed around her like dying stars, each word another promise to erase her from existence.

The woman did not answer. She simply breathed ,shallow, trembling while blood was flowing out from her injuries

Her body was a battlefield.

Wounds bloomed across her like cursed flowers, and one arm hung weakly at her side, shivering as if trying to remember strength.

The purple dress she wore—once noble, once hers now clung to her like a dying shadow.

2 small horns curved from her skull, glinting faintly beneath the grime.

They should have made her look monstrous and a being to fear,Instead, they crowned her with a strange, tragic grace—like a fallen deity whose divinity refused to die.

Her face, cracked with blood and pain, covered with bloody should have been ruined.

Yet even broken, she was breathtaking.

A beauty sculpted by cruel heavens, shaped in silence, perfected only to be shattered.

Here every part of her body from her hair, face, neck to leg every part seem to call the perosn and cherish her body. A beauty which can bring down heavens but now very line of her body whispered of a destiny stolen.

Every wound sang of betrayal.

And even as she stood on the edge of oblivion, her presence felt deliberate—

as if fate had carved her too perfectly just to watch her fall, but even while all this and call of accusation and offer who just seem more of a cage,

her eyes…

They weren't on the gods, demons, or warriors calling for her death,Her eyes were locked on one point at her right.

A body… a man.

He lay half-destroyed. His lower back was gone, disintegrated into dust. The golden dress he wore was ripped by cosmic forces. A dark corruption crawled over his wounds, eating away his flesh molecule by molecule. The darkness refused to let him heal.

But even in this state he seem to be in thoughts and then with a look as he decide something a smile come across his face and

When he saw Saira looking at him, he forced his limited power and send a messae through telepathy to the her.

"Saira… don't worry about me."

His voice cracked.

"Just Run, even now, even in death, he was calm for her.

"Even if I die today, it's fine. I… I have my way to survive. When I count to three, you run. Teleport, escape and then reincarnate whatever it takes do it ."

Saying this his breath shivered.

"Your body… it can't hold your upbringing anymore. Even with the Seven Immortal Artifacts… you can't survive it."

Saira didn't flinch. Didn't scream. Didn't cry her eyes trembled once and just ask one question.

"Are you sure… you will survive?"

Hearing her question and hint of care from the cold blooded women friend of his

He coughed blood but smiled.

"You trust me, right…?"

His hand shook as he lifted three fingers.

"Right now our strength… we saw it. We cannot take revenge. Not like this. First… you survive."

His fingers dropped.

"1…"Saira felt her heartbeat stop.

"2…"

Memories came—his laughter, his scolding, his warmth, everything.

"3—"she vanished.

Her speed broke the space in one heartbeat she appeared millions of kilometers away, a blazing streak of light through space.

A she reached a distance in an insant

Her trembling hands dug into her dimensional space.

She pulled out the Seven Immortal Artifacts, each glowing with its own immortal light.

Then she pulled a book.

A small, black book, ancient beyond comprehension in book was written the two words in a language unknown to her

The moment it appeared, the Seven Artifacts trembled not vibrating, not shaking.

They trembled like living creatures feeling fear for the first time.

But Saira had no time to think about that.

She cut her finger, her blood hit the book.

She cut her horn — pain shot up her skull.

More blood dripped.

Her wings burst from her back — dark, beautiful, trembling with exhaustion.

Her tail unfurled, heavy with blood and divine energy.

She cut them both too and then splaced blood and horn fragments, her wing and tail on the book.

It began to pulse.

Slow. Then fast.

Then violently.

But Saira wasn't looking at the book her eyes moved to the distance, toward the man.

He was standing now.

Barely.

Dark energy poured around him, not attacking — obeying.

And then—

He began a ritual.

Something ancient. Something forbidden.

Something even gods feared.

"NO…" Saira whispered the around him who was just shocked with he sudden vanish noticed this too.

"What are you doing!?" one shouted, panic rising.

"If you complete that ritual, God of Blessing—your existence will be erased!"

"Your lineage will lose your power for all eternity!"

"They will be mortals! Mortals!"

Is it worth for a women

The man who also know as god of blessing did not turn to them.

His eyes were fixed only on Saira direction ,A broken, soft smile appear in his

"This is… for you… my friend."his voice break the void his voice echoed like a farewell song.

"It's time for our final goodbye."

As saira heared this her lips quivered.

Her heart cracked like breaking glass.

"You… idiot…"

Her voice came out like a whisper of death.

"You idiot… you idiot…"Then it rose—

"YOU IDIOT!"

Space trembled.

"Today… you ended the LAST piece of my heart that loved this world."

"From today… the whole creation will know what Saira truly is."

Her words stretched across existence.

Every being — even those in far realms — felt goosebumps run through their soul.

Then—

The man intensified his sacrifice.

Space split open.

Darkness and divine light mingled.

A domain formed — unbreakable — stopping everyone from approaching.

While in distance in saira's reincarnation activated.

Her body was swallowed by a thick cocoon of darkness.

The gods panicked.

"She's reincarnating!"

"Stop her!"

"She must not return!"

As the chaos was erupted among the people suddenly, tear opened in space and from it

A man stepped out, his presence was silent yet heavy it was nough to suffocate.

As he come a bead floated beside him the bead glowing with five supreme laws swirling within.

Someone gasped:

"The Bead… of the Five Supreme Laws…"

It was a bead that stands top among the top weapons it controls the 5 supreme law of existence which were Time, death , fate ,life ,and one unknown rule.

The man who appeared looked at Saira and the God of Blessing.

Then spoke softly while adding his spiritual energy in the bead

"The Law of Fate… changes their fate."

The universe shook.

The God of Blessing's eroding body… froze mid-erasure well his body already fair enough eroded nothing to be saved though the dark sacrifice… stopped devouring him

While the cocoon around Saira… stopped moving.

Her soul-core dimmed.

Her reincarnation cycle… paused.

And with the ritual stopped the domain stopping all god stopped and as people felt that they can move the 12 people who want revenge run towards her to attack

While the men who had appeared kneel down using the bead to change fate was a tool to high on him, when he was felling relief he realises a danger his all senses screaming to move.

While in the distance-

Twelve divine energies slammed into the cocoon due to the sudden attack of 12 being the coccon tremble a little bit it was not enough to even crack realising this they all move there eyes for help by others only to relaise everyone with them was engaged in fight with someone realising they couldn't reply on other all are towards each other and thne one said look like we have no choice but to use the forbidden skill and as they said it they start to sacrifice some part of there divine body to increase power of there attack as they do that .

A crack start to form on coccon realising that they pour more power and focus on one point and thne there tye coccon breaked and ther attcked reached the saira body which was going through reincarnation.

And then a scream heared in void ,

In distance people realise while fighting the man said look like she died.

A burst of light.

BOOM! The cocoon shattered her body converted in a violet energy with in the energy reside a book and the 7 divine artifact revolving around her seeing them the 12 god shocked whose energy still attacking her.

Her reincarnation had collapsed halfway.

Her soul half inside the cycle and half outside, was torn by contradictory energies.

Her eyes trembled with despair.

As everything… everything she tried to protect… broke in front of her.

Inside the shattered cocoon of dark essence, Saira's fading consciousness trembled.

Her soul half-reincarnated, half-destroyed, her soul stretched between life and nothingness.

Her thoughts leaked into the void like broken prayers:

"Is today… my end?

Is this really the fate chosen for me?"

Her voice inside her own mind cracked.

"I only wanted revenge.

I only wanted strength to punish those entities who slaughtered my people…

My family… my planet… my everything…"

Her tears mixed with the darkness around her, dissolving before they could fall.

"I just had a simple life.

Why did fate crush me?

Why did I become hated by everyone?

Why did fate destroy my people, my planet, and my whole path?"

The book inside her pulsed weakly like a heart itself

"Why couldn't I see this coming?

Why couldn't I stop this?

Why am I always late?"

Her voice shook with a drowning desperation, the pulse increased

"I reject this fate.

I wanted to be strong…

I wanted to be loved by them again…

I wanted to know what it means to be the strongest…

I wanted everything… everyone…

I wanted to see the universe with my own eyes…"

Her final whisper bled through the cracks:

"Please… someone… something…

Give me a chance to start again…"

Suddenly as she said that the book pulse at max and then stopped and then energy released

The broken, trembling cocoon of dark essence jerked.

The cracks sealed halfway.

And then—

WUUUUMMM—

The cocoon began spinning.

Slow at first.

Then faster.

Then violently, like a collapsing star trying to rebuild itself.

Light burst from inside — seven flashes, each corresponding to the Seven Immortal Artifacts she had used.

But instead of assisting…

Those seven lights were devoured or swallowed by the darkness, the cocoon spun faster

Darkness spiraled around it like a storm.

The pressure grew so immense that the surrounding space began to crack like glass under an immense weight.

The gods who were attacking it froze something was awakening, something they didn't understand.

Something they couldn't stop.

Fear Among the Attackers

The warriors who had been using their essence to hammer the cocoon suddenly felt their power vanish.

Not blocked.

Not deflected.

Absorbed.

Their strongest attacks entered the cocoon…

and became fuel for whatever was forming inside.

The twelve warriors who had struck first felt their bodies slowly turning pale… then hollow… then transparent… until their flesh withered into skeletons, standing frozen in terror as their essence was sucked into the spinning vortex.

They tried to retreat.

But the cocoon had already chosen them.

Twelve beams of energy shot out — from the depths of space, from unknown realms — connecting to the twelve dying gods, feeding through their bodies and into the cocoon.

The energy inside it surged.

The mask began forming.

A dark, ancient mask made of energies older than gods.

The space crack behind the cocoon widened.

Pressure increased.

Matter bent.

Existence trembled.

The twelve attackers realized—

"Something is wrong. Something impossible is happening."

They tried to run.

But it was too late.

Far away, the man with the Five Supreme Laws Bead — the God of Wisdom — was on his knees.

Surrounded by 104 powerful warriors, all preparing to kill him.

His white robes were torn, stained with blood, cosmic dust, and betrayal.

"I knew this could happen," he whispered, the bead flickering weakly beside him.

Yet for all of you, for this universe… I still sacrificed my own power."

He looked up staring at those eyes who tried to kill him.

"I tried to erase the greatest threat to you all. I did what was needed."

Hearing his words some gods and demon lowered their eyes.

Some stayed emotionless.

Some smiled cruelly.

Among them all one person stepped forward.

The God of Wisdom recognized him He was now the 4 th strongest god and second before the rise of him and the saira.

"The God of Wisdom," he said coldly, "we never need your sacrifice."

He smiled as if speaking truth was a game.

For us she was never the threat but you were your existence as your way were they were soemthing which could be considered real threat ."

The words dropped like mountains.

"You, the mortal prodigy who rose from nothing and became the strongest being—the God of Wisdom and ...."

He pointed his spear at him.

"Your existence changed the balance, the real danger was always you,the one needed to be killed from the start."

He smirked, from the time you rose and reach top and your method start affecting us I was planning to end you and the danger and you know when I found the best way to kill you.

As he heared that his eyes was in shocked (as the all talks were telepathically no one else heared it other then the god of wisdom himself )

Yes you realised it ,it was when that girl—Saira—declared her plan for revenge, I knew we could use her as the excuse. From that moment, I planned your death."

He raised his hands and with that all here is the result from start you all were the pieces of game I been playing.

"And now—after using the Bead of the Five Laws—your power is weakened. You cannot survive. Not anymore."

As his sentences completed he take his spear upward and then a massive formation activated beneath their feet.

Energy from all warriors flowed into it ,the God of Wisdom sighed,he stood, lifting his heavy sword with trembling arms.

"If this is the fate written for me then until my soul is disintegrated i will fight against it."

After saying this all he swung his sword towards the direction from where attack would come while putting all his strength in th final attack his body blimmimg with pure white energy that it covered him so much that no one there could see his physical shape for a second.

The attack released from formation,a shockwave so strong it blocked the incoming formation for a moment.

The every being

He had stopped all of them for an instant felt a strong opposite force and nearly stumble from there position

"Astonishing…" one whispered.

"He blocked it—alone."

Seeing this someone said it's not only his power he is using all his will and soul here to stop himself from dying.

When one of them said ,well did you think he is gonna give up this easily,

Do you know why he rise upto the level he is now

When one person , "said stop creating question and make it hard and say"

Hearing that the perosn said

"He rise this high and become this strong just for one reason that's - to protect his world .

And at this moment there is no one else other then him who could protect his world from other world danger at the moment he is the hope for them and also his world is reason of him being struggling and being alive he will not die because he will protect his world.

As he completed his word one of the perosn in the formation knelt and said.

"The god wisdom you are most noble and strongest god I have ever meet and at this moment to end your misery and in respect, i use our essence to finish you."

And also I take the path of my powers and my path that i will.protect your world from any threat other then them itself as he said it a smile come on the face of the god of wisdom and then everyone realise the pressure which was opposing them has decreased a little as they realised it one by one—

30 gods knelt. Then 12 more.

They vowed to protect his world after his death.

The God of Wisdom smiled softly.

His last resistance faded.

The formation struck.

Light swallowed him.

His sword broke, his body dissolved and with it the existence who threatened whole realm of God died not by strength but betrayal.

While the other side The cocoon of darkness, now filled with the essence of twelve fallen gods, was sucked entirely into the widening space crack and gone into a route known to none.

The crack sealed as the silence was in the place only thing.

No wind.

No sound.

No energy.

Just the quiet after a cosmic tragedy.

That day, news spread across every realm:

"The God of Wisdom and Fate, along with the God of Blessing, fought against Saira and the gods at her side. In the end, all of them died. The universe is safe once more… thanks to the final sacrifice of the God of Wisdom."

But the truth?

Only the culpirts knew it and it is deeply buried by them eradicated from history.
