Does It Matter Anyway!!!

Does It Matter Anyway!!!

Episode 1

Tracy sat alone in the vast, hollow main hall of her mansion - a place that once trembled under her command. The walls that had echoed with orders, footsteps and the metallic click of armed men, now held nothing but silence......... a silence so thick, it almost pressed against her chest.

She lowered herself onto the grand chair - her throne - the very seat from where she once ruled the underworld without fear, without hesitation. Now that power felt like a ghost lingering around her, mocking her with every breath.

But Tracy didn't shrink. She crossed her legs slowly, deliberately, her long sleek royal - red dress hugging her curves like a second skin. The slit along the side revealed the sharp edge of her black stilettos - the same heels she'd worn the night everything collasped.

Her makeup was bold, definant, a mask of fire over the ashes of her empire. Her long straight hair spilled over her shoulders, shining under the dim chandelier like of black steel.

Outside, the wind rattled through the empty corridors.

Inside, only one thing remained.

Tracy.

And the storm she was about to unleash

...........

Just then, distant cracks split through the silence. Gunfires outside her silence mansion.  Tracy didn't even blinked, not a hint of a fear touched her face. Instead, a slow, knowing smirk curled at the corners of her lips, as if the entire chaos outside was nothing but a scene in a play she had already rehearsed.

She remained seated with the same poised elegance, her spine straight, her chin high. The echoes grew louder - boots pounding the gravel, shouts slicing through the cold air. Moments later, she heard them stroming the corridors, room by room, their voices growing more frustrated as they search her.

Still Tracy waited. Patient. Unbothered. Almost amused

Then-

BOOM.

The doors to the main hall be brust open, craahing against the walls. A whole troop flooded inside, weapons raised, surrounding her like as tightening noose. Their guns clicked into place, pointed directly at her chest.

Tracy didn't flinched. Did't exhale. Didn't acknowledge the danger.

She just smilled-

a small chilling smile that made several of the men shift uneasy.

 And then the circle Parted

Heavy footsteps approached, slower, heavier, filled with arrogance.

Jack Watson stepped forward, a large gun resting effortlessly in his hands. His presence filled the room like poison seeping through air. He walked right up to her, stopping only inches away, looking down with a wicked, satisfied grin.

"well, well.... we met again, my lady."  He drawled, eyes glinting. "Your entire empire  burned to the ground, and here you are- still sitting like a queen."

He tilted his head, studying her unbroken Posture.

"I'll admit", he said softly, "I like it. That elegance. That confidence. Almost like....." He leaned in closure.  "You were just waiting for me."

His voice dropped, cold and final.

"No more tricks left, Tracy. This time, I'll make sure you die ... peacefully."

Tracy's smile didn't waver. If anything, it deepened - slow, deliberate, unsettling.

"I appriciate the efforts you put in bringing me down". she said softly, her voice echoing in the vast hall. " And what amazes me more.... is that it actually worked."

She tilted her head slightly, eyes glittering... "I should admit, Jack - you never fail to surprise me. Or attract me. Your brilliant moves.... they have always had a special charm."

For the first time Jack's expression flickered.

He hadn't expected this - not here, not now, not when she was supposed to be broken.

Her words slammed into him, dragging old memories up from the depth he had buried them in.

But he forced them down. Forced her down.

He stepped closer , lifting her chin with the cold barrel of his gun. A small smirk curved accross his lips.

"I thought you were a woman who put her self-respect above everything." He said, voice love and venomous. "But now? How you sound desperate"

His eyes narrowed, dragging over her face as if searching for the lie.

"Is this what you are reduced to? Pouring out feelings at the last moment, just to save your life?"

He leaned even closer, their breaths almost touching .

"And then what? You stab me in the back again?"

Tracy's smile faltered - for a heartbeat.

A sad, distant shadow crossed her eyes. But then she straightened, regaining her fearless composure, her voice smooth as silk.

"I don't expect any mercy from you ", she said. "Not even a little. And I definately don't want you to let me go."

Her gaze locked into his - bold, unbroken, unwavering.

"I just wanted to tell you what I really felt. Before the end."

A soft breath.

"You really are .......something, Jack."

Silence filled the room - thick, charged, dangerous.

And for the first time, Jack couldn't read her.
