Late-Night Ramen & Stolen Smiles”
Jeon Jungkook
Age: 25
Role: Main vocalist, center
Personality: Quietly confident, playful when comfortable, deeply loyal
Traits: Golden voice, bunny smile, strong stage presence
Soft side: Overthinks his feelings, gets shy easily, especially around Taehyung
Love language: Acts of service, silent protection
Weakness: Kim Taehyung’s smile, voice, and habit of getting too close
Jungkook is the type to feel deeply but express carefully. He hides his emotions behind jokes and competitiveness, but when he loves, he loves fully. Taehyung is the one person who makes his heart race without even trying.

Kim Taehyung
Age: 26
Role: Vocalist, visual
Personality: Playful, artistic, emotionally intelligent
Traits: Deep voice, boxy smile, expressive eyes
Soft side: Sensitive, romantic, fears rejection
Love language: Words, touch, presence
Weakness: Jeon Jungkook’s honesty and quiet devotion
Taehyung flirts like breathing—but with Jungkook, it’s different. Softer. Realer. He jokes to hide how serious his feelings are, afraid that if he says too much, he might lose everything.
The dorm was still. No one talked. But it was not just quiet. It felt thick. Strange. Like the air had weight. Like it wanted to say something, but did not.
Jungkook was on his bed. He looked up. His mind went back to last night. The food. Their laughs. Taehyung’s hand in his. The kiss. It was quick, soft, and real. He could still feel his cheek grow warm.
“Get it together,” he said to himself. He hid his face with his arm.
Across the hall, Taehyung sat on his own bed. He did the same thing. He touched his mouth and a smile came. He did not plan the kiss. No. It just came. Felt good. Too good. And it made him afraid.

Next Day
“Why so quiet, you two?” Jimin asked. He was in the kitchen. Jungkook poked his food. He acted like it was bad. Taehyung was across from him. He wore shades. He sipped his drink.
“Jet lag,” Taehyung said.
Jimin stared. “We did not fly.”
“Heart jet lag,” Taehyung said.
Jungkook coughed on his drink.
Taehyung did not look at him. But his lip moved, almost a smile.
Jimin got close. He looked back and forth. “You two are weird.”
“We always are,” Jungkook said.
Taehyung looked up. For a moment, their eyes met. Jungkook’s heart beat fast.
It was not odd. Not cold. Just warm.

In the Dance Room
Music filled up the space. Feet hit the floor in time. Jungkook was wet with sweat. He tried to focus on the moves. But each time Taehyung said his name, it rang in his mind.
“Five, six, seven—again!” called out the dance leader.
The music went on. Jungkook moved in time. His body knew what to do. Then Taehyung was next to him.
So close. Their arms brushed.
Jungkook slipped up.
“Sorry,” Taehyung said quiet. His hand took hold of Jungkook’s waist to help.
It made a spark. Jungkook’s lips parted. “It’s fine.”
It was not fine.
Taehyung’s hand stayed longer than it should. His thumb touched Jungkook’s hoodie. Taehyung’s eyes were soft.
The music ended. Namjoon was worried. “Is something wrong?”
“No!” Jungkook said quick.
Taehyung nodded. “All good.”
They were not.

Night on the Balcony
Jungkook found Taehyung outside. He knew he would.
Taehyung leaned at the rail. The city lights shone in his eyes. His sweater hung off one side. He did not look back as Jungkook joined.
“I thought you might come,” said Taehyung.
Jungkook stood with him. “You make it easy to guess.”
Taehyung gave a weak smile. “Do I?”
The quiet grew. It felt nice, yet full.
“About last night,” Jungkook said.
Taehyung let out his breath slow. “Yeah.”
“I don’t wish I didn’t,” Jungkook said quick. “If that is what you fear.”
Taehyung turned and looked. “I did not fear you.”
“Then what?”
“I was scared I want more.”
Jungkook gave a soft laugh. He was not sure.
Taehyung stepped close. “I joke much. But not with you. With you I will not joke. Not this time.”
Jungkook’s breath was caught.
“I do not want to cross lines if you are not set,” Taehyung went on. “Not if you feel bad.”
Jungkook shook his head. “You do not.”
Taehyung’s voice fell low. “Then tell me.”
The city went quiet.
Jungkook took in air. “I feel... good with you. I feel seen. Like I don’t hide.”
Taehyung was kind. “That is all I ever wanted.”
Jungkook reached for him. He took Taehyung’s sleeve. “Stay.”
Taehyung did not wait. He held Jungkook with care. Arms around him. No rush. No push. Just close.
Jungkook lay his head on Taehyung. Heart at peace now.

Small Ways, Big Hearts
They said no words for what they did. No name for it.
But things were not the same.
Taehyung would pick seats for Jungkook and not say a word. Jungkook gave Taehyung his coffee, his way. Their hands met easy—in secret places, with no one seeing.
Once, Jungkook played the guitar. Taehyung lay nearby, hum a tune.
“That song,” Taehyung said. “Is it new?”
Jungkook nodded. “It is.”
Taehyung smiled. “It feels like love.”
Jungkook glanced his way. “Maybe it is.”

Words in the Rain
Outside, rain fell after long work.
Jungkook stood out under the roof, wet and cold. Taehyung came and took his wrist.
“You will get sick,” said Taehyung.
“You too.”
Taehyung shrugged. “Worth it.”
All around was wet and soft gray. Staff were busy somewhere else.
Taehyung spoke. “Jungkook… I love you.”
Jungkook did not freeze. Did not run.
He smiled.
“I know,” he said. “I knew for some time.”
“You did?” Taehyung asked.
Jungkook nodded. “And I love you too.”
Taehyung laughed. He could not breathe well. “You should have told me!”
Jungkook grinned. “It’s fun this way.”
Taehyung drew close. He touched his brow to Jungkook’s. “You are not simple.”
“You like me as I am.”
“I do. So much.”
This kiss was calm. Sure. Warm. Home.

Soft End
Later that night, Jungkook lay next to Taehyung. Their fingers tied. He heard Taehyung’s breath, soft as rain.
“Hyung?” Jungkook said.
“Yes, love?” Taehyung replied.
Jungkook smiled at his words. “Thank you for waiting.”
Taehyung kissed his hand. “I would wait all my life.”
Jungkook knew now love did not need to shout. It could be two hearts. In a quiet spot. Safe. Deep. Not crossing lines, but finding each other.
