Perished - PILOT

Once upon a time... —

Viax: "HAH! Another fight defeated! Take that Onyx! Great job today, guys!"

Onyx: "Oh, fuck off... Let's go, Mari."

...Viax celebrates after defeating another fight this week with Onyx and Mari.

Margo: "Be proud of yourself, Onyx, you were better this time, very good fight development, see ya... errmm...."

Zanni: "On the next fight? Whenever is your next battle with as?"

Bubble: "Might as well cause an entire war sometime, and you might have a lot more backup this time!"

Onyx just grumbles and leaves the battlefield, and heads to his villain cave with Mari, where he figures out plans to destroy Viax and her crew.

Viax was always friendly towards anyone, but goes hard on the battlefield for whatever reason. Her crew, Margo, Bubble, Zanni, Merry, Jazey, and Asch.

Margo was a fine woman. She was always gentle and LOVED the seahorses and the fish that swam around the city. Viax found her one day, while she was taking care of a catfish. And they eventually worked together. Margo's specialty was medicine and medical care.

Bubble, however, was also a fine gentleman. Just kidding he was always troublesome and helped bomb things during the First War of Coraland and The Deep Seas. He was indeed a warrior, but never lost his energy. Viax first met him in a cafeteria, and she kind of... eavesdropped on a conversation and asked questions. They became friends and joined her crew.

Zanni, ever the shy one, met Viax, not the opposite, and Viax took pity on his shyness and tried to lighten him up, and he did. A little. A bit. He was a gentleman though, and he had TONS and LOTS of weapons. Knives, butterfly knives, sniper rifles, shotguns, double-barreled, bombs, grenades, CANONS! You name it. And he builds them all himself. And Viax, amazed by him, asked him to join her crew and agreed.

Merry was a bartender and always hated people. Antisocial, social skills, none! But he is a bit loyal, and he will try to kill you at least once a month. Viax visited his bar, and they talked, and she asked him a bit differently this time...

Viax: "So... we are planning on defeating Onyx, the ever mighty villain, with my crew and... Would you like to join?"

Merry: "Sure."

Viax: "Why, Great! Absolutely awesome!"

And so, he joined. Merry's specialty is his ability to predict the next moves of people. Quite great, right?

Jazey has her tricks. Distraction. Always. And she can throw arrows well, she is an Archer. She met with Viax at a carnival. They basically talked, and the subject dropped on Onyx and how Jazey wanted to defeat him, but she did not know how to do it all by herself, so? Viax proposed to her the position of an archer, a hidden archer, in their crew. Jazey agreed.

Asch, is the trickster. She can make illusions. And well... scare the enemy and make them hallucinate. They met randomly on the street, where Asch was making optical illusions and amazed people. She shoved the audience away, and well... Here's how it goes..

Asch: "Wh-- Hey! I am PERFORMING here! Who are you anyway?"

Viax: "Well, Name's Viax, nice to meet you...uh..."

Asch: "Asch. What did you just do to my audience?"

Viax: "They are not THAT important, I've got a job for you. I saw your... performance from a distance, and I wanted to say... Would you like to join my crew? That ability of yours is perfect to defeat Onyx. The Illusionist...hmm... That sounds good, yeah? what do you say?"

Asch: "Great! Me? defeat Onyx? for good? He has been causing terror in the city for who knows how long!? I'm in. No questions asked."

So, she joined.

Now you might ask, what is Viax's specialty? what can she do? Well... She hunts. She is a hunter. she can see where people are and what they are doing. Although, she can not see... dead... people. But alive. It's pretty useful if you are in a cemetery!
