Introduction

I was walking down the hallway way not very interested in anything I personally thought there were going to be interesting people here but there were none. I made my way to class 103 for my first day at this junk of a school. I was expelled from my last one because of fighting but I mean like the other students shouldn't have picked a fight if they couldn't back up their talk. The bell started to ring, just lovely I mumbled to myself and kept walking. When I finally got to my class I knocked on the door. The teacher called out Come on in, so I walked in. The teacher known as Akira looked at me with a smile, so I faked one and turned to look at the class. I was put in the class for misfits and problem children so I wasn't surprised when kids looked at me strangely. For starters, I am pale with blonde hair at the roots that turn neon teal at the ends with golden eyes and a matching pair of wings to match my eyes. The majority of the kids were some sort of demon species right off the bat but some I did not know. The teacher tells me to introduce myself so here I go. I say hello classmates I am Ria and my species is a shapeshifter. The class looked shocked I had to fight the urge to roll my eyes. But what was interesting was that a group of kids looked unimpressed. The teacher told me I could go take a seat so I took one in the back away from everyone. The teacher started talking about geography and I took out a book and started to read. When the bell rang I put my book away and waited for everyone to leave the class, but to my surprise, the group of kids didn't so I walked passed them to the teacher. When I got to my desk she asked if I needed anything and I said yes. I asked if she knew where I could get my dorm key from. She called for a girl named Tori out of the group of kids asking if she could take me to get my key. Tori said yes, so I went with her and the rest of the group followed behind Tori and me in silence. She stopped in front of the desk and the lady looked at her and she said that the girl next to me is new and needs her key. The lady looked at me and asked for my name and I said, Ria. She turned to her desk and pulled out a key and paper and handed it to me. I said thank you and opened my paper saying out loud dorm room 297. One of the girls in the group gasped saying that was her number, I looked at her and she was a vixen also known as a fox hybrid. Tori looked mildly annoyed like she had to deal with me longer. I asked her if she had a problem and she laughed at me saying that just because I was new does not mean I can go acting spoiled which honestly confused me. I was so confused but I didn't care so I walked past her to the vixen and asked What's your name. The vixen said Ember and grabbed my wrist pulling me away. Tori scoffed and we left the group behind.
