Story

It was early morning, Jasmine is preparing breakfast for her husband Jackson. After finishing everything she heard his footsteps then she turned and saw her husband coming down, his expression it always looks emotionless or unreadable.

He came downstairs and passed kitchen heading toward the door to leave the house. Then he heard a soft voice calling his name

Jasmine: Jackson Breakfast

With the emotionless expression he replied

Jackson: I don't have time

Jasmine: But you....

Jackson: Firstly, who told you to make breakfast

Jasmine: No…one but, I thought to make it for you

Jackson: For now, it is not necessary to act like a good wife

Jasmine: wh...what

Jackson: I said stop your innocent act

Her eyes filled with tears but, she controlled herself to not cry and show him that she is weak, or he might also call it as act

Jackson: My mom is innocent unlike you that's why she asked me to get married a gold digger like you

Jasmine: Gold digger

Jasmine: Me.......why are you talking like this to me

Jackson: I know all girls are same,,, and you also included in that.

Jackson: Look if you need something then just ask it directly but, don't use these tricks on me.

Jackson looked at those dish and looked at her again

Jackson: I don't have time to have breakfast

After saying that he left without another glance............her tears fell which she has been holding for minutes

They got married few weeks ago where Jackson's mother on deathbed asked him to marry Jasmine saying she is very good match for him. Besides, she is an orphan and also works as a care taker for Jackson's mother.

But, soon Jasmine fell for Jackson, she loved him, respected him however, he never loved or cared for her at the same time he also fulfilled his mother's wish.

Before the marriage Jackson also clarified to her to expect anything from this marriage, and she agreed it heart fully because she always respects his mom, and she doesn't want to disappoint her.

However, Jackson thought she married him for money and status that she is just after his money and nothing else.

Back to the present.......

After sometime, Jasmine got ready and went to college.

In college she doesn't have any friends where she always stays alone in college.

That day, she received a mail from college saying to pay the university fee

She already knew about this and working a part-time job in restaurant to pay her fee but, her salary is not yet credited, and she couldn't even ask the manager to pay the salary because it is the beginning of month.

Late night....

Jackson: Where were you. Your classes ends at 4 and now its 8....also you are coming late from last 3 weeks

Jasmine: *oh god I can't tell him about my part-time job, what to do*

Jasmine: I....that

Jackson: Never mind. But don't come late

Jasmine: *Is he caring*

Next day.....

Principal: Ms. Jasmine, when are you going to pay the fee. We also sent you notice as well and if you not pay by tomorrow then, kindly bring your guardian.

Jasmine: No need Sir, I'll pay it by tomorrow

Principal: Well, I'll give you one week time.

Jasmine: Thank you Sir.

Principal: If you don't, then nothing I can do. Try to understand.

Jasmine: Yes Sir. Thank you

Later.......

Jasmine working in restaurant even though she is exhausted she managed to finish her work.

Manager: Jasmine, take orders from table 12

Jasmine: Yes Sir.

Few seconds later....

Manager: Jasmine, where are you! Give this order to the table...hurry up

Jasmine nodded and quickly took the tray but out of sudden, due to the dizziness she slipped, and the dish is holding fell and plates broken...

She gasped on the other hand, manager is furious

Manager: JASMINE, WHAT IS THIS

Jasmine: I..... I'm sorry..... Sir. I slipped and....

Manager: I don't need any explanation besides you are doing full time today.

Jasmine: But, Sir

Manager: It's an order, if you refused then you've to find another job.

Jasmine needs this job to pay her fee,, so she agreed to do overtime.

On the other side.....

It's almost 9 Jackson came to home and nowhere found Jasmine. He asked security and came to know that she didn't come to home since morning.

Where is she? Ohhh yeah, obviously she went for shopping with her friends, living the luxury life she wants.

At 11pm

Jasmine came home exhausted

Jasmine: Manager told me to do overtime for a week. But, my exams are approaching. What to do? Should I go to Jackson and ask him for my fee?

Slowly, she went to his bedroom and saw him working where he is yelling an employee

Jackson: (on call) I don't need any excuses, you must have to make presentation and submit in 2 hours or else you are fired

Jasmine: *God...he is an bad mood...what should I do shall I ask or not...but I've to ask…*

She took a deep breath

Jasmine: Jackson

Jackson: Now, What

Jackson: I don't know about your personal. Submit it by 2 hours.

Jackson: What...do you wanted to say something

Jasmine: Di...did you have dinner?

Jackson: hm

She went to her room

What to do now, he is in a bad mood... I don't want to make it worse, and I don't want to be his burden.

She said to herself that why she had to face this. She questioned herself that she really deserved this treatment. Few seconds later, she said to herself that "I need to talk with Principal to ask some more time"

On the other side, Jackson came out to take some fresh air, but he heard sobbing and murmuring sounds from her bedroom. Even though he didn't want to admit it, he cared for her. Cared about, whether she had food on time and reached home on time. However, he shrugs it and went to his room.

Next day he came to the same restaurant where Jasmine works. He came to meet his client to discuss project.

Manager: Mr. Jackson, please welcome

Jackson: Table 22

Manager: Please follow me Mr. Jackson

few seconds later......

Client: It's pleasure to meet you Mr. Jackson

Jackson: Pleasure to meet you

Manager: Mr. Jackson, may I take your order please

few seconds later.....

Jackson explain everything about the project

On the other side......

Manager: Jasmine, take this to table 22

Jasmine: Yes Sir.

Manager: Don't make any mistake. The customer is very important

Jasmine: Yes Sir

She went to table 22 and shock to see her husband there... she gained courage and went to the table and severed the dish quietly

Jackson glanced the server and his gaze froze, his expression changed

Jackson: Jasmine

Jasmine: Bon Appétit Sir

Later on that day....

Jackson's dad: How your married life is going mu son

Jackson: Dad, tell me about Jasmine

Jackson's Dad: You kids got married weeks ago...and now you are asking this... My son, is everything alright

Jackson: Dad

Jackson's Dad: okay I'll tell... Jasmine, parents died in a car accident when she was 6 years old, since then she lived her life in orphan where she craved for love and care. Then she met your mom.

One day your mom went to withdraw the money, but she lost it while coming home. Then, Jasmine got that money and gave it to police to know the owner of it. After few hours your mom received money, and she asked the officers to meet her. Then she also assigned her as her care taker and later wished to make her as a daughter-in-law.

Jackson: NO, what a mistake I've done... I don't deserve forgiveness

Jackson's Dad: What happen son.

Jackson: Dad I'll call you later

At 11pm

Jasmine came

Jackson: Wait

Jasmine: What you saw earlier is...

Jackson: For your fee, your principal called and told about that. Besides my dad also told about you... Jasmine, I made a mistake and I don't know that I deserve forgiveness.

Jasmine: *stunned* Jackson I

Jackson: You are not going to any part-time job. I've paid your fee. All you have to do now is study

Jasmine: But, I don't need your pity. Don't pity me Jackson

Jackson: This is not pity but care and maybe love.

Jasmine: What?

Jackson: Yes, I do from the day of our marriage or even before that. But, I was not ready to admit it because of my past relationship

Jasmine: Past relationship?

Jackson: Yes, in my college days, I was dating, and I cared for her and I loved her, gave her everything but, she was there with me only for my money. She also cheated on me when I was in US to do my higher studies.

Jackson: Jasmine, shall we work on this marriage

Jasmine: I can understand that your past relationship is not fine. But, you should not think that all are same, and you disrespected me.

Jackson: I know, I don't deserve forgiveness but, don't leave me

Jasmine: Give me some time

Jackson: Thank you

After 6 months, Jasmine completed her graduation and Jackson has been trying his best as good husband by supporting and caring for her. Finally, On the graduation day Jasmine forgiven him and they started a happy marriage life.
