Chapter one

Emma's POV

I opened my eyes to find myself in an unfamiliar room. I stared at the snow-white painted ceiling above me, my first guess was that I was in a hospital. What happened? I tried to recall everything that happened last night.

**flash back **

"This way, hurry, "I said to the two fugitives as I opened the cell below deck. I led them on deck in one of the lifeboats on board.

I carefully lowered the boat, since I didn't want any unwanted attention drawn towards me by the captain, my father, who was sleeping behind the wheel of the ship.

After successfully lowering the boat, I hoped in and sailed away the two fugitives to the shore. Where the two fugitives, a tall young man with a dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, dressed in a crisp blue suit that hugged every inch of his body and a young lady in a beautiful night gown, glared at me.

Heavy silence hung amongst us like one of us then suddenly the young man finally broke the silence with a husky voice, "you and your family are going to pay for this." And with that they left, I watched as their backs dissapiared into the night.

"Huh," I scoffed, "so much for a thank you." I started sailing back to my ship and as I was getting closer, it started moving forward faster and faster that I couldn't keep up. I yelled out to them to stop, but I doubt they heard me. Then as I thought it couldn't get any worse, a strong gust of wind blew up the sea and the last thing I saw was darkness.

**end of flash-back **

I studied the spacious room for a while then I saw him. A teenage boy on a study desk concentrating on whatever he was reading. His ocean blue eyes swept across the book, like a broom. His blonde hair glowed like honey against the morning sunlight.

l cleared my throat and looked away, but that's when it hit me, this wasn't my room.

Panic swept all-over me, and a scream escaped my mouth, startling the hottie across the room. What! Hottie?no just a teenage boy. Whom I didn't notice was next to me covering my mouth with his palm, until now.

He has a pointed nose with pink kiss lips, which I didn't realize I was about to touch until he pulled back from me. "Do you always scream after waking up?" he asked with a serious tone.

"Where am I ?" I asked without paying attention to him.

"You are safe,"he said heading back to the studying table.

"Who are you ?and safe where ?on land ? Please don't tell me I'm on land "

"You're not on land," the boy said in a sarcastic tone.

"Say it like You mean it," I retorted back ,"oh no , this is bad my family left me, oh"
