The Little Cub I Picked Up Is a Future Villain
A boy lay down on his stomach without any care of his image reading a book.
His delicate brows are furrowed as if he read something he doesn't like, he have this beautiful, kind, and innocent face, that no one would expect he read hardcore dark romance novels with mature tags.
He's currently reading a novel from the author 'einoyah the great' a quite arrogant pen name, the author was recommended by his online friend who shared the same interest with him, out of respect to the taste of his friends in regards to books, he bought one from a nearby bookstore and went home to read since it's holiday.
The title of the novel is "my mad prince is so sweet" a cringy title why did he picked this because this is the less cringy title he found among the author's novels.
Shane started to curse his friend in his mind, like what kind of hell hole is this author why is it so cringe. It's a pity there's no matured tags on the novels the author wrote.
So the novel went like romantic stpry between a crown prince who suffers from constant madness and a beautiful priest who can somehow lower his madness. There's also a villain of their love story who also has the same madness illness and wants the priest to heal him so he tried every way to get the priest for himself causing catastrophic endless wars, the villain was a homeless boy joined the war when he's 13 and rised to marshal when he's 23, only when he's marshal did he found out his biological father the duke who was framed and killed by the emperor because he threatens his position(he was killed when the villain is 13 years old). Also because of this reason did he oppose the crown prince so much. But he's just the villainn and destined to lose his battles he lost to the protagonist and the protagonist had a happy ever after.
After bingee reading the book throughout the night until dawn broke, Shane couldn't help cursing the dog author who likes to kill off pitiful people in his story, he swore he won't read any more of this author's novels. He went off to sleep thinking the villain is so pitiful but he doesn't have to start a war causing people to die. Shane cursed the author under his breath before he went off to dreamland.
.......
Shane woke to chaos.
Not the soft chaos of birdsong or the gentle clatter of a marketplace. No, this was sharp, violent, teeth-gritting chaos. He felt boots slam into his back, a rough hand shove him sideways, and a dozen bodies bump and push against him. Shouts tore through the air, a mix of anger and panic, frustration he was sleeping one moment then now he's in the middle of a ruckus.
“What the—?!” Shane tried to rise, but a foot pressed down on his arm. Someone shoved him into the mud. He yelped, sputtered, wiping grime from his face, only to have another splash of water, or worse, thick, brown mud—hit his cheek. His hair stuck to his forehead, his already dirty clothes plastered to his skin.
“Are you kidding me?” Shane muttered under his breath, cursing the universe. “Is this some kind of, historical re-enactment? A freakin’ renaissance cosplay people power type of shyt?!”
He looked around. People were pushing forward toward a massive, imposing mansion. Armor glinted, banners snapped in the wind, and the crowd’s shouts all seemed to center on that one place. Somewhere he caught the word duke.
Shane blinked. Duke? Whatever. Not my problem. He tried to sidestep, but more bodies slammed into him, shoving him forward like he was nothing more than a rag in a storm. He twisted, rolled, cursed, and finally wrenched free from the pressing crowd, staggering into a small space with slightly less people. Mud smeared across his face, hair plastered, and he groaned, pressing a hand to his forehead.
Dang, that was dangerous i could be trampled to death, Shane caressed his chest while sighing in relief. Shane craned his neck high left and right analyzing which route to take so that he can go far away from the chaos, but the people were tall so tall, Shane cursed their parents genes.
“I can’t even…see...properly” he muttered as he shove away people on his way just then something bumped on to his leg, startled Shane looked down.
As Shane caught his breath, he realized he wasn’t the only person small in this strange world (Shane's defense: although it's a child still counts as a person) A smaller figure stood helplessly amidst the full of people pushing and shoving, wide-eyed looking up at himself, shivering. Black hair tangled across a pale, dirt-smudged face, red eyes.
Shane froze. The child looked… pitiful. Vulnerable. Small. Definitely not someone who should be in this brutal chaos.
What's wrong with this people why aren't they letting the child go, what if he get trampled and die, Shane panicked.
Shane hugged the confused child and lead him out of the chaos filled with people pushing and shoving.
He had no idea why he was suddenly playing caretaker, but something in the child’s small, trembling body made him think of himself in the past.
Shane didn't know how many minutes or hours he had spent pushing and shoving just to get out of the mess. Finally he got out, he ran away far from the crowd and squatted down to pant.
Finally!
Those motherf** , ***, *****
After cursing a lot in his mind he looked down and met with a pair of glistening red eyes, naive and innocent. Shane became embarrassed as if he has been seen through.
Shane coughed to hid his embarrassment, "are you okay kid? Do you know where this is?"

Vrilee Edwardsville Illinois woke up amidst the chaos he stared blankly at his small hands covered with dirt, am i reborn?
His eyes glistened with hope but then remembered his lonely, painful memories, betrayals, he doesn't wanna go through those again. So why was he reborn? Right! Duke Illinois my biological father who was framed and killed by the emperor!
Thinking of this Vrilee red amber eyes became firm with determination as if he had found his purpose.
Just then he bumped on to a soft person amidst all the rough men and women around chanting bad things about the duke, confused he looked up he met with a black eyes of a boy, he looked like a newly adult young man the eyes looked so pretty and rare.
Vrilee was stunned, so stunned that he didn't even struggle when the boy hugged him into his arms and push and shoved among the crowd going the opposite direction.
Vrilee snapped out of his trance and became wary, what's wrong with his high vigilance is it gone. Vrilee frustratingly looked up at the boy and judged his whole being. Just then the boy looked at himself and asked a very obvious question unless he's not from the city, looking at him from top to bottom he looked like a beggar, very dirty, well except for his glistening black eyes and black hair which is unique, everywhere else is dirty
If Shane could hear Vrilee's thoughts he would've cursed him thousands times. Unfortunately he can't
