The little girl in the cabin

Cyrus tries to keep his composure he heard a lot of horror stories about vampires since he was a child and the strength of vampires depends on their age like how many years has it been since they become a vampire that's what he needs to determined.

Cyrus: I'm Cyrus what's your name?

He asked while observing her.

Arabella: I'm Arabella nice to meet you too mister.

Cyrus: how old are you?

He quickly asks the most important question to lessen the fear in him.

Arabella: I'm 12

Cyrus: seriously?

That's when he saw a bit of blood on the little girl mouth it seems she got turned into a vampire recently and based on how she acts she's not even aware that she's not a human anymore.

Cyrus starts to smell around the cabin to the possibility that the vampire who turned her is still here but it seems she's the only one in the cabin.

Arabella: where am I? I remember that I'm with my mom and dad in the park.

Cyrus: kid I don't know how to explain this to you.

Then her facial expression suddenly change as if she just remembered something.

Arabella: I remember now we were attacked by a scary guy in black, my Mom and dad are in danger I have to go back.

Cyrus: Arabella right? I wouldn't go outside right now if I were, you there are a lot of dangerous things out there right now.

But then he realizes that whoever turned her into a vampire might come back any minute now.

Cyrus: you know what I'm going with you.

Arabella: really?

Cyrus: yeah it's dangerous for you to go alone just stick close to me, and we can get out of this forest.

He already rested enough but he's hoping not to encounter those renegades again.

The forest is much creepier now that it's night but he must not show any signs of panicking in front of this child or she might panic too.

Arabella: I miss my mom and dad.

Cyrus: don't worry you will see them soon.

He knows to himself that this is a false hope if they got attacked by a vampire her parents are probably dead or got turned just like her.

Arabella: what's that?

Cyrus: huh?

Then they saw a boar that five times bigger compare to the size of a normal boar attempting to mate with a tree and if you're asking why well I don't know either.

Cyrus starts to reveal his claws and fangs since this is definitely going to be a fight the boar saw them now, and it's growling at them.

Arabella: are those claws? That looks cool

Cyrus: I don't know if it's enough for this thing though.

The boar is preparing to attack them, and it seems Cyrus is starting to get intimidated by it.

Cyrus: fuck it just run there's no way I can fight something like that!!

Arabella: huh?

He takes Arabella's hand and runs with her but it's too late the monstrous boar chase them and ram at both of them.

Cyrus: aaahhh!!!

Arabella: aaahhh!!!

Both of them scream in pain as they got thrown away from the boar attack.

Cyrus: Arabella are you okay?

He asks while holding his back from the pain but there's no time to check on her because the boar is about to attack him again.

Cyrus manage to hold the boar tusk with both of his arms but he's not strong enough as he's slowly being pushed back by the boar.

Cyrus: I refuse to die here!!

He keeps holding the tusk even though his hands are bleeding he growls, his eyes turn blue and his canine fangs and claws appear Cyrus is using his full strength as a werewolf but it seems that it's not enough against the boar he's still being pushed back.

Cyrus: is this the end?....

Arabella: get away from him!!

Cyrus didn't notice that Arabella is already behind the boar she lifts the boar with her two small hands and throw the boar in the trees which result to its destruction.

Arabella: are you okay?

Cyrus: yeah, thanks but damn kid you just got recently turned, and you're already this strong.

The boar is weakened from the throw, and it looks disoriented.

Cyrus: let's use this opportunity and run.

He grabs Arabella and carry her on his back, and they start to run within just a few seconds the boar is behind them chasing them.

Cyrus: that bastard recovered quickly.

While they were running from the boar they saw the group of renegades werewolves in front of them.

Cyrus: again!!

Arabella: what are we going to do now?

Cyrus: I have an idea something very smart or very stupid.

Cyrus keeps running and when they about to get flanked he jumps at the last minute resulting to the collision of the boar and the renegades.

Cyrus: hell yeah!!

Arabella: that was awesome.

The boar and the renegades fight each other and thanks to that the two of them manage to get away.

Cyrus: is that the forest exit? Thank the goddess I thought I will not live long enough to see it.

He asked Arabella where she live, and she answers that she lives in Tyr city.

Cyrus: that's just 5 kilometers from here okay I can take you there I'm not in the rush to go at my destination anyway.

Arabella: I'm hungry.

Cyrus: there must be food in the city don't worry.

Cyrus is feeling confused he feels like there's something he forgot to explain to her but he just ignores it, and keeps moving forward.

Cyrus: I might remember it later.

Arabella: huh?

Cyrus: nothing let's just go

Meanwhile, in the cabin a group of vampires gets inside, and they seem agitated.

Vampire spawn 1: where is the girl?

Vampire spawn 2: our sire is going to skin us alive for this.

A vampire spawn named Robert starts to look around the cabin.

Robert: it seems someone get in here and take the girl.

A vampire spawn answered that's something like that is impossible since they put a talisman in the cabin that can repel all kinds of monsters except their kind.

Vampire spawn 1: even a beta or an alpha werewolf won't be able to get in here.

Robert: and how can you be so sure that thing is working in the first place?

Then they all felt it something cold in the air that even the creatures of the night like them feels the goosebumps that can mean only one thing their sire is here.

Lucio: I got that talisman to a shaman that I personally know in the east the talisman is working.

Robert: dominus we're all sorry for this failure.

Lucio: no matter I didn't expect that an omega werewolf can survive in this kind of forest.

Robert: huh?

Lucio: there are only two beings that can't be affected by the talisman a human or an omega werewolf.

He explains that a human has a zero chance of survival in this kind of forest and an omega has a low chance of survival in the dark forest but it's not zero.

Robert: an omega take the girl?

Lucio: if a weakling werewolf like that is with the girl they might come out of this forest alive.

He orders the vampire spawns to look around the entire forest since there's a possibility that they're still nearby.

Lucio: Robert go to the Tyr city where that girl lives while I stay here and look with the others.

Robert: that girl address why?

Lucio: if they somehow got out of this forest something tells me they be there.
