Prologue

...[Chaewon's POV:]...

I'M now walking around school and as I opened my locker, letters flooded my feet as they rushed out. I sighed and just didn't think any of it. None of my admirers really caught my attention.

But one person did catch it. She's just not an admirer of mine. She was as hard as stone and as cold as ice. My house was right next to hers and I would always wait for her and ask if she wants to walk with me.

But to my dismay, she would always decline. Her name is Miyawaki Sakura. The first time I saw her, sher caught my eyes. I promised to make her mine and only mine. But if she is happy with another person, I would let her go.

I grabbed my lunch and another lunch prepared by yours truly and placed the extra lunch box on her table. I exited her classroom and made my way to mine.

This is my routine for the past 3 years. Yep! I've always done this to Sakura sunbaenim for the past 3 years. I would wait for 1 hour outside everyday of the school days just to ask her to walk with me. Sadly, she never accepted. But I'm not gonna give up.

As I was walking towards my classroom a pair of hands hugged me from behind. "Hello baby!" I was surprised but relaxed into the hug when I noticed it was her. "Unnie, what are you doing?" I asked her.

"Well, can't I greet my favorite half little sister?" She asked while smiling at me. "Unnie, I'm your only half sister." I said while frowning and pouting playfully.

"Aww. Are you sad? Haha. Don't worry, I'll make you happy baby sis!" She said enthusiastically while me? I just walked away. I know what she was gonna do. She was gonna use her advantages to skip school with me.

Advantages you say? Well, you see... Chaeyeon unnie and I are the Chaechaez sister. We were popular but Chaeyeon unnie was much much more popular than I am. It's because she's gonna be inheriting our father's company since she's older than me.

Chaeyeon unnie get's basically everything. She also has everything. Except for a lover. Unnie has been talking to me about this girl that confessed to her but wouldn't reveal her name to me. She said she might just answer her.

To be honest, I love unnie. I don't envy her. As long as I have Sakura sunbaenim, I think I'll be fine. But, if it comes to the point that I have to let Sakura sunbae go? I'll do it if she's happy with someone else. I'll do it if her lover would take good care of her.

I just hope I was her lover. I walked towards my seat hoping no one would come up at me and say-- "Hello Chaewon~! Be my girlfriend?" Oh sh¡t! It's Woojin. He would always ask me to be his girlfriend everyday.

He was very persistent that I like him and I was just playing hard to get since he believed that everyone in school loved him since he's the school's star player when it comes to literally everything. He's handsom I admit and good at everything too. But he's just to full of himself.

He's actually a player. He would have girlfriends but would be caught cheating and he doesn't even give a sh¡t if he made a girl cry. And that's the story why I hate him to the core.

"Not now Woojin." I grumbled. I'm known in school to be a sweetheart but when it comes to this boy? I'm the devil. He thinks he can have me? Pshh never in a million years.

"Oh come on Chae~ You know you want this." He referred to his lower region which would make any girl horny but not me. I'm just plainly disgusted by his actions. I only like one person and only her.

Nope. I just ignored him and went on to walk over my desk and with that I just slept. Class was boring besides, I already know the lesson today. It's because I would always study ahead of time.

I was then awoken by a shake and I saw my friend smiling like an idiot over me. "Hey Chae~! Wake up~!" Yena unnie said, She's my childhood bestfriend. She was there for me everyday in my best and my worst. I ended up having a crush on her but I'm over it now. She knew I had a crush on her but it's now gone.

Sakura sunbaenim is now in my heart and will always be. I actually have 4 friends. Yena unnie. Eunbi unnie, Yujinie and Wonyoungie. Wonyoung and Yujin are together while Yena unnie and Yuri-ssi from 3-A are together.

While Eunbi unnie is also together with Hyewon sunbaenim from 5-A who is also Chaeyeon unnie and Yena unnie's classmate. Eunbi unnie is in 8-A while Sakura sunbaenim is in 7-A while Yuri-ssi along with her friends who I happen to be aquiantances with Nako and Hitomi are in 3-A while Yujin is in 2-A and Wonyoung in 1-A. I'm in 4-A. I'm all alone.

But enough of this drama. I need sleep. I didn't sleep because I needed to prepare Sakura sunbae's lunch. I actually slept at 3 am because of studying and got up at 5 am just to prepare her lunches. This is the cycle that goes on. I wake up at 5 am to prepare her lunches, gt ready and wait for her outside at exactly 6 am and she get's out of her house at 7 am.

I would ask her if she want's to walk with me but she would always just ignore me. It would always break my heart little by little but no pain no gain right? Then at 7:30 I would walk to school because I needed to wait until Sakura sunbae is in school already so we wouldn't cross paths if I walk too fast.

Then when Sakura sunbae is at the cafeteria every morning, I would always place the lunch box on her table. But she would just give it away. It does hurt but I can take it. It's not like I haven't been hopelessly in love back then... Oops, I think I said too much.

Nevermind that. Then I would just sleep here in school and sometimes because I would always wait for Sakura sunbae so early, I would forget my lunch. Good thing I have money. And also great friends who gives me extra packed lunch too hehe.

Now, enough. Sleep is all I need. I ignored Yena unnie poking me and just slept on my desk. I can't go to luch since it would hurt me again when I would see Sakura sunbae throw the lunch I packed. Besides, I also forgot my lunch hehe.
