Snitch Tendencies

I skipped through the streets at 7:50pm with a shopping bag in hand, at the moment I heard a loud siren sound then paused scanning the area. Out of nowhere a man in an orange jumpsuit ran towards me looking exhausted.

Man: Oh God, can't they just leave me alone?

Bionia: Hello sir, do you need help with anything?

Man: (noticed bionia) Oh, um yeah actually I'm kinda lost and I need help finding my way.

Bionia: Oh sure I can help (turns around pointing to an alley) there's a secret pass way no one seems to know about, you can pass there.

Man: Are you serious?

Bionia: Totally, i use it as a short cut to my best friend's place.

Man: (excited) Alright, thanks kid.

  With that he zoomed down the alley and I continued skipping down home, as I was on my way a police car pulled up next to me. I turned to it confused as the windows rolled down and two officers were revealed.

Officer 1: Excuse me little girl but have you seen this man around here?

  The officer pulled out a picture of the same guy I just helped seconds ago.

Bionia: Oh yeah, he just passed by, down that alley over there.

Officer 2: Are you certain?

Bionia: Ofcourse I was programmed... I mean raised to be honest (smiles).

Officer 1: Alright then.

Both officers alighted from the vehicle, one of them twirling a pair of handcuffs in his hand.

Officer 2: Let's get that guy.

Bionia: Wait, is he some sort of criminal?

Officer 1: He most definitely is.

  With that the two officers ran towards the direction I told them disappearing into the alley. I swallowed feeling uneasy, I mean I just helped a criminal escape and then told on him to the cops. I immediately ran back home.

The next day; at school

  During lunch while everyone was eating I had my head on the table feeling uneasy about the crime I committed last night.

KC: What's wrong bionia?

Bionia: I'm a criminal.

Max: (with an unfazed expression) You stole?

Bionia: No, I accidentally helped a criminal escape last night.

Ravi: Dang.

Bionia: Then I told the police.

Max: (spits out his drink laughing) You helped a criminal then reported him to the authorities? Dang your such a snitch!

KC/Ravi: MAX!

Bionia: Hey, I'm not a snitch. Um, what's a snitch.

KC: It's some who always tells the truth too much no matter the situation.

Bionia: Isn't it good to tell the truth?

Ravi: It is, but, sometimes it's best to just lie at times or just keep your mouth shut.

Max: And you happen to fall into the snitching category.

Bionia: No I don't.

Max: Oh yeah? This morning you told the teacher that a group of kids were using their phones in class.

Bionia: I did the right thing, it's bad to use your phones while a class is going on, if you don't end up understanding what the teacher taught it'd be your fault.

KC: Yes but you also ended up making the teacher seize all the phones of the students.

Ravi: Including the ones who weren't even using their phones in class.

Bionia: Oh, I didn't realize.

KC: You see why it's not good to snitch.

Bionia: (arms akimbo)Oh so you are calling me a snitch?

KC: I didn't mean it like that!!!

  The bell rang signaling that lunch time was over and we all stood up, cleared our dishes and left.

In class later that day.

  I was sitting in class reading a textbook since the teacher wasn't around to teach. As I was reading my attention drifted to two girls who were chatting about something.

Girl 1: I think we should make the decorations yellow, she loves yellow.

Girl 2: Perfect, it'll go great with the cake I ordered (pulls out her phone) take a look.

Girl 1: It's perfect, she's gonna love it.

Bionia: What are you two talking about?

Girl 1: Oh we're just planning a surprise party for Lora, it's her birthday today.

Bionia: Oh I had no idea.

Girl 2: (looks in the distance) She's coming (lora meets them) Look who it is, the birthday girl!

Lora: Hey girls! What are you guys talking about?

Bionia: Oh these two are planning a surprise party for you...

  The three of them went silent staring at me, Lora looked shocked but the other two were staring at me with hatred.

Girl 1: BIONIA, It's a surprise party!

Girl 2: Meaning you're not supposed to talk!

Bionia: Oh, I'm so sorry.

Lora: It's okay you didn't mean to.

Girl 2: (turns to Lora smiling) Well since we're not currently busy how about we present our present to you.

Lora: Oh yay I love presents.

  All three girls stood up walking out of the class as the two girls glared back at me, yeah I messed up really bad, maybe I am a snitch. I tilted my head the opposite way and noticed max watching with a wide grin on his face.

Max: What an awesome performance Einstein.

Bionia: (sighs).

Max: Ready to admit that you're a snitch?

Bionia: (mood drops) I guess this proves it.

KC: ( hits max on the head) Max! (turns to bionia smiling) Don't listen to him being a snitch isn't bad.

Max: Until it reaches an intense stages.

  My eyes started to water, KC noticed and stares at max making him uncomfortable.

KC: You just need to tone down a bit learn to lie at times.

Bionia: But how do I know when to lie?

KC: Maybe for instance to help out a friend or sibling or when someone serves you a trash meal and you lie so you don't hurt their feelings.

Bionia: So I lie if to help people? So I could of just lied that Mrs Steinfeld's grape-pie was delicious instead of telling her it tasted like you left it in the oven since 2013?

Max: Dude! I know my mom's cooking's trash but chill.

KC: Yeah something like that. You're getting it, now let's put that into practice.

  KC called on one of our classmates who wore the most ugliest hat I've seen in my short life.

KC: Bionia! Why don't you give Jake here a compliment about his... hat.

Bionia: Okay, um, your hat looks nice. Though it looks like it was ment for a three year old kid instead, I think you took a wrong turn at the shopping isle at the mall.

Max, KC, jack, and the entire class looked at me in shocked and I quickly covered my mouth in shock at what I said. Suddenly the entire class started laughing and pointing at jack and he felt embarrassed and ran away.

Max: Dang, I never knew you were a bully?

Bionia: I...I didn't mean to?

Max: Look what your sharp tongue caused? (laughs) Wonder what more troubles you'll land yourself into?

KC: Shut up max!

  I felt so bad that for the first time in my short life water rolled down my face from my eyes, I was crying? I quickly zoomed out of the class and entered the restroom were I collapsed to the ground and started crying anime tears.

Later in the night; At home.

That night I laid on my bed the thoughts of the day played back in my mind like a movie. Later on I was able to fall asleep, yes, I can sleep, though I don't need to sleep but I do anyways since even machines need rest, I just need 5 hours of sleep per month so something doesn't go wrong in me and I malfunction.

  While I was sleeping, I suddenly sprung up from my bed after I heard a sudden sound, I looked around my room and saw my window open, weird, I don't remember leaving that opened.

  Switching into my human disguise, I shut I heard the sound again and my instincts reacted just in time and I quickly moved out of the way before a man could stab me with a knife. As I switched on my bedroom light to get a good look at the intruder, I was shocked to see the criminal man from earlier.

Bionia: How did you get here?

Man: I saw you as you were coming home from school and then waited patiently for a time to get my revenge.

Bionia: You're supposed to be in jail?

Man:I escaped, again, and now I will kill you for your betrayal.

Bionia: Um I'm even supposed to have helped you in the first place, it was a misunderstanding.

The man raised his knife towards me, as I blocked with my hands the knife struck barely leaving a mark and only hurting a little.

Bionia: (unfazed) ow.

Man: (shocked) are you made of metal or something?

  As he tried to strike again, bolts zoomed into the room biting the criminal on his leg causing him to stumble and giving me an oppurtunity to run, as I zoomed down the stairs I purposefully knocked down a potted plant and zoomed to the kitchen where I plung my phone and dialed 119, or was it 911? I tried both and they answered with 911.

Officer: This is 911 what's your emergency?

Bionia: An escapee's in my home, can you please be of assistance?

Officer: We're on our way, what's your address?

  I gave them my address then hung up, bolts immediately came running towards me looking unharmed, guess he is a protector, I bent down and patted his head.

Bionia: Good boy!

  Suddenly I heard the criminal coming down the stairs.

Man: Stupid dog.

  As planned he tripped over the potted plant and rolled down the staircase and hit the ground with a loud thud, dang that must of hurt. I picked up bolts and jumped over the criminal and sat down on one of the sofas in the living room, bolts on my lap and looking ever so calm. The criminal stood up shocked at my position and looked even more angry.

Man: Are you mocking me?

Bionia: Nope.

  He pulled out the knife and rushed towards me but stopped in his tracks as we heard the sounds of sirens, Wow they got here fast. Fast forward some time later, the criminal was arrested and sent back to jail. One of the police men came to check on me, I was fine and he gave me a nod and they left, I felt so relieved.

Max: What's going on?

  I turned to see max leaning over his fence in his pajamas.

Bionia: The criminal I talked about earlier came seeking for revenge but got a taste of his own medicine.

Max: (laughs) I knew your snitch-ness will land you into a form of trouble.

Bionia: (frowns) I dealt with it.

Max: (sarcastic) Okay scout.

  Ignoring him I turned around picking up bolts and going back inside. Yeah I could use more lying lessons but nothing's really wrong with telling the truth, right? Dang it'll take a while before I fully understand humans but I'll give it my best shot.
